Surprise Parties

I ignored the note and immediately locked the locker. My steps were already preparing to leave the room but I remembered that the item could be used as evidence. I quickly headed to the trash and picked up the paper I had just saved and put it in the notebook. If one day justice is on my side, I will show this evidence to the concerned, though I hope all this can be done by itself without any interference from the authorities.

Geography class was the last extra class before I went home. I built up my spirit for not wanting to disappoint Aidan. I don't want him to realize that there's anything different about me. I complied and Aidan immediately closed my eyes with the tie he had brought. The rays of light disappeared, all that was left was darkness, but I still felt amazing because I knew he was still around me. He also took my hand and helped me to step up.

After they retreated, Davin who was also in this event took turns hugging me and saying the same sentence as well. That warm feeling made me happy. I'm happy because I've been surrounded by good people. Although there are unfamiliar faces, but I do not bother because later I will definitely meet them again.

Now it was Gio and Ana's turn to come to me, "So what do you think of our surprise?" tanyakanya.

I hugged my two brothers and it seemed that both of them were also surprised by my actions. Maybe because all this time we just talked to each other without ever showing affection through hugs like now.

"Thank you" I whispered. The two men nodded while returning my embrace. Our hug had to be interrupted when someone called Gio and asked the man to bring him a drink.

"Aren't you fair?" I turned around and found Aidan who was smiling at me, "that's also my hard work in it."She boasted as she spread her arms hinting for me to give her a hug. Since it's my birthday, I'll be kind enough to give her the hug she wants. So I stepped forward and wrapped my hands around her body. Although it was just a hug but it felt very meaningful.

I always try to be realistic. I don't believe in love or fate because I've been growing up as a terrible person. But lately all my beliefs have started to falter due to the emergence of new good people around me.

"Wait for a special gift from me." She whispered in my ear while still letting go while smiling warmly at me.

When he got away, I wanted to draw him closer. But then I alluded to my itchy attitude. In the end I could only nod and then step away to gather with my friends.
