Suddenly Nobles
The Extra Part 2

Sick? Sure oes.

Which man will be fine after he finishes attending the wedding of his dream woman. Garlein had never even revealed his heart to the little girl who had now become the queen. Never does.

Initially Garlein intended to travel to the capital next month to sell merchandise as well as meet Eve who had not returned to the village for a long time. Also, as he was already twenty years old, Garlein tried to forge a closer relationship. Margaret knew him a long time ago. At least Garlein already pocketed the blessing from his mother's side.

But Garlein's intention had to be buried deep when he saw a special piece of paper taped to the notice board this afternoon. Eve's name is written in detail there, along with the famous noble family clan attached at the end of her name, and even more devastating, there is the name of the man who also accompanied the wedding invitation leaflet. Yeah, Eve's getting married, but not with her.

Surprising facts persistently attacked the new man. Eve is a member of the Lumiere family. Second, he's getting married.

And the last fact, which further broke Garlein's heart was the fact that Eve's future husband was the current Crown Prince. Since His Majesty the King is dead, he will automatically be the king in his father's place.

Then Eve will be .. queen.

When others were happy when they saw the leaflet, Garlein was just the opposite. There is no hope. Eve was gone from her reach no matter how hard Garlein tried to grab her back.

Amongst the crowd, someone patted Garlein on the shoulder. "Dad knows how you feel."

Garlein tried to smile thinly. "So obvious, huh?"

Johan raised both his shoulders. "Just instinct as a father."

"But I haven't even struggled a bit."

"Fight to forget?"

"Certainly struggling to get it, of course" replied Garlein upset who was avenged by the amused pangs of the father.

"He's far away, Lein. Our place, is not his world anymore. Sometimes heartache will lead you to something much more amazing. Rather than be sad, wouldn't it be better if you were traveling?"

"Journey?"

"To forget it," replied Johan wisely. "Come back if you feel like you've really let Eve down in your heart."

Garlein sighed. "Sounds hard."

"Not yet to know if it hasn't been tried."

"What if I can't forget it?"

"Depending on how hard you fight" Johan said convincingly.

Garlein. "What if ... I snatch it from the Crown Prince?"

"Hey, don't joke. The invitation has been spread, after all, your opponent is a great person. Not to demean my own son, no. But considering you and Eve haven't seen each other in a long time, are you still sure she'll choose you over her love?"

It hurts, but that's the reality. Johan tried to resuscitate Garlein so he would understand. Want to fight Lucas? Sure enough, there he was who was looking to die.

Without saying anything, the already disappointed Garlein turned away leaving Johan complete with a moody expression. The wall between her and the girl grew thicker and thicker, then ended up dead-end like now. If there was a chance, Garlein wanted to meet Eve once more. For the last time, at least.

Garlein behind his submission, smiled smirkily. His wish just now was quite self-destructive, yes.

"Oi, Garlein!"

From far away Johan called back to him.

"It's rumored that tomorrow morning Margaret wants to see her daughter. Do you want to come along? All of you, to let go of the memories of the past." At such a time, Johan could still laugh crisply.

Desire granted.

"Good!" garlein replied back in spirit. A big smile, given it without coercion.

Maybe it's time to let go. Anyhow.

"I heard from you tomorrow your sister's getting married. Is true?"

The crackling of the night beasts adorned the silent atmosphere around them. The bonfire had been lit a few hours ago, just to warm up and help Felix dry his wet clothes completely. The fish in the river swam so fast that the man could not catch it and ended up splashing with his head that landed first. Even more annoying, his comrade Raphael can only laugh at Felix's silliness to stomach pain. There is absolutely no intention of helping.

Preventing that question mark-filled gaze, Felix pretended to flip the fish he had placed over the campfire. Hungry, he wanted to eat now before entering the heavy topic of conversation.

"Sudden mute, Crown Prince?" ledek Raphael is impatient.

"I'm not the Crown Prince anymore. Next time, don't call me that" he replied cynically.

"Ho? Not taking off that title is your own wish. Why does it look upset now. Aish, don't you regret it?" mention Raphael once again.

"I have no regrets. Prince Lucas deserves the throne. He is talented, and also good at fighting. Compared to him, I'm nothing at all" said Felix humbled.

"Ei, why so pessimistic?" Raphael patted her shoulder. "Each has its advantages and disadvantages. Don't assume all the flaws are in you and all the advantages are in Prince Lucas."

"Tell me what's my advantage over Lucas."

Raphael fell silent. Think over.

"I thought this was your reaction. There's nothing wrong, after all, she's absolutely perfect."

Felix stood up, picked up the cooked fish and then stepped on the rest of the campfire to put out the fire. Finally, the former branches that were burned were covered with leaves so that their tracks were not easily sniffed by anyone.

"Ha, where are you going?!"

"Where as long as it's not here." Felix entered the forest while biting the fish he hunted was greedy. "Lucas seems to have sent his elite troops to find me. If you wait for morning, I'm not sure we can still run around in the woods again like we do now."

"Then, where are we headed?"

"The Village of Macsmare. Then the plan was to cross the sea using a ship."

After that it was quiet. Both Felix and Raphael were silent.

"Felix."

"Hm."

"Now I know your advantages."

"Don't be weird" Felix replied trying to divert the conversation.

"You're the only person who can circumvent Prince Lucas' elite surveillance. Knowing who his men are, it is impossible to find one person like you especially you yourself are still in Sasania and also famous people. If it's not an advantage, then what is it called?"

The prince smiled, as he stepped he looked far away at the stars scattered above.

"Lucas has already loosened his army to search for me, unlike the former king. I'm happy with the decision."

"Does that mean Prince Lucas is happy for your departure? He can rule the throne freely!" raphael is negative.

"Ah, it's not like that. Actually Lucas was secretly understanding."

"Understanding where?!"

"Since then, he has been the one who knows best about my nature. What wish. Everything." Recalling his childhood with Lucas, Felix suddenly missed that atmosphere.

"And he is also the one who understands best how I hate power. I never wanted to be king, he knew very well without having to say it first. Then from that .. he understands my choice."

Felix turned around, giving his loose big smile to his loyal servant.

"He gave me something I couldn't get on my own. Freer. That's what I want, Raphael."
