Both Duke, Declan, and Eve fell silent afterwards.

"I thought at first that I was a lucky child to be born Lumiere" Eve gritted her teeth. "It turns out wrong. I got fucking shit for it."

Without waiting for Declan, Eve came out with wide strides. His chest felt hot, anger so controlling that his breath hunted.
