Eve's deep sleep was interrupted as a ray of sunlight burst in through the slightly open curtain gap. He groaned softly and sat with his eyes still closed. The headache hit him again. The effects of the wine he drank last night are still in fact impregnated even though his common sense has returned.
Uh, where am I. And who brought me here? Do I sleep walking?
The blonde girl scanned every inch of the foreign room she occupied. The room was black and white with a large circular bed that he was sitting on, as well as several small tables next to him made Eve realize that she was still in the palace. Lumiere Castle does not have the feel of a room like this, he knows very well because the entire castle building is finished he explored.
Eve held her head. Trying to remember the events of yesterday with the rest of the dizziness still felt.
After leaving Declan, Ethan and himself head straight for the training barracks while interspersed with small talk. Occasionally his eldest brother threw a joke that Eve replied with a soft laugh. It's a palace, remember. Despite the bars, Eve tries to avoid trouble in the tiger enclosure.
In a large field, Eve saw many men gathered together to form a large circle that in the circle stood one of the people Eve knew. Beckett. The sound of friction between the swords and the cries of spirit filled his auditory senses, signaling that there was a friendly fight going on. This place was clearly devoted to the men because there could not be a respectable lady willing to watch. But why would Ethan bring her here?
The fall of the sword that Beckett was holding was a sign that victory was obtained by the other side. Ethan glanced at his little sister. Realizing there was no sad expression or so from Eve's sweet face, she couldn't bear to keep quiet.
"Aren't you mad at the guy who beat Beckett?"
"I? It's just normal." Eve folded her hands in front of her chest. His brilliant blue eyes were still focused on the movements of Beckett's opponents who were trying to help his brother to stand. "Winning and losing are common. After all, a friendly fight like this won't make Beckett die. What should I be afraid of."
Ethan blinked. Usually women will behave melancholy when placed in the current Eve position. Beckett lost and did not rule out the possibility of injury that imprinted on his skin for the next few days. The normal reaction of women should be to cry bitterly, or even angry with the person who became Beckett's opponent because it was considered to cross the line.
Here's sister. Very unique woman. A lady? Ah, Ethan hesitates to call Eve part of the meek.
"Well, at least you still love Beckett by saying that."
"Where do I say dear to Beckett?"
"You don't want him to die, do you," Ethan said.
"Of course I won't let him die here." Eve turned her head, "She owes me ten grains of candy. Until Beckett can replace it at the appropriate price, I won't let him leave this world quietly!"
Ethan goosebumps. If Beckett had died first, Eve might have made her brother a curious ghost.
After the friendly fight was over, Beckett who noticed Eve's presence in front of the double gate immediately greeted her. The blond man on his shoulder grimaced, then felt disappointed in himself.
"I was confused as to what to say, but when I saw Lulu here watching my defeat, it felt like I wanted to immerse myself in the quicksand," Beckett said solemnly.
"No problem, brother. If you're shy, you can cry on my shoulder." Without permission, Eve pulls Beckett's head higher than hers and forces the man to lean against her small shoulder.
Seeing the brave actions of a foreign woman, of course the soldiers there gasped. Even more so against Beckett, General Nicholas. The man advanced, telling the other soldiers curiosity about Eve's status over Lumiere's sons.
"My Lord, who is this girl?"
Because all the sons of Lumiere are known not to be approached by women. Hearing a straightforward statement from Beckett's lips that often run when debutante, certainly makes the whole barracks excited and incredulous.
"Calm, relax. It's not what you think." The murmur that originally airs so much is now silent noiseless. They looked at Ethan with the highest curiosity. "Everyone, introduce she is the only daughter of Lumiere, our youngest sister who just came home. Lady Luvena Lumiera's. May you be as respectful to him as you are to us. Perhaps in a few days, an official celebration to welcome Lady Luvena to the Lumiere family will be held."
"Hi!" Eve smiled brightly waving her hands enthusiastically. "Because you are all friends of my brothers, you automatically become my friends too. It's nice to meet you all. Just call me—"
Beckett smothered Eve's mouth and hissed, "Don't tell them your nickname. Enough of us to call you that."
Possessive sister growing by one? Okay, Eve can deal with it.
"It's good to know you, Lady Luvena. I'm General Nicholas, the general who served in the North Wing and was the coach of the young Lord Lumiere."
A man with long, white hair caught Eve's attention. Her bright green eyes looked like fresh grass in the morning. He sheathed his sword back then approached the three Lumieres. Understanding Eve's gaze not even blinked as she watched him, the man chuckled and moved to kiss the back of Lumiere's youngest hand.
"What's up, Lady. Are you fascinated by my good looks?" tanyanya is confident.
"Why do you grow hair so long?" Eve expressed her admiration. His other hand stretched out to grasp a few strands of the man's hair. "I've read that the tradition of long hair for men is only applied in Brodsway, not in Sasania."
"I am from there. When I was five years old, my father decided to settle in Sasania." General Nicholas smiled broadly. Rarely does a woman know what causes her hair that is left elongated straight. The knowledge that the youngest Lumiere possessed was indeed impressive. You could say .. the general was interested. If married to a woman like this, her life may not be boring because they can discuss various kinds of interesting topics.
Eve judged differently.
The man's eyes then moved to look at Ethan. "Your sister seems like a lot of fun, My Lord. What if the four of us chatted for a while over drinks?"
