Facts about Duke's Wedding

After the king stepped out of the room, the atmosphere did not immediately improve. Everyone fell silent as soon as they knew the Duke of Lumiere was trying to contain his anger which was already on the edge. This was obviously a bad thing, one had to try to calm him down.

But that someone is definitely not Eve. The existing Duke of Lumiere was even more furious and did not rule out the possibility that he would spout sharp sentences to everyone over the next few days.

He said a warm meeting. But just look, the show is not finished but the two important people look opposite each other.

Eve nudged Declan who had been silent since then. The man turned his head then lowered a little, aligning his gaze with Eve's height.

"What?"

"Aren't you going to persuade His Grace? If things continue like this, I may die of awkwardness" whispered Eve who could not be whispered because Prince Clainton could hear her clearly. The man even chuckled amusedly.

"Please wait a minute, usually—"

"Your Grace, I just remembered that our mining project that was built in the south started to run smoothly."

Zachary looked at the second prince with interest. Eve heaved a sigh of relief when she knew Zachary's attention could be easily diverted. Thank you so much for the second prince. The discussion turned out to be very effective in melting the atmosphere.

"really?"

The Crown Prince who had been silent since then finally cleared his throat in agreement. "Even some miners who want to make more profits have handed over several plots of land to us to be processed optimally. If measured, it might be the mining area of about five acres of land."

"Normally they will be difficult to negotiate with" Zachary said as he placed the cup back on a small plate. "Does the Crown Prince have his official records?"

"of course. What if we see her in my workspace?" haggard Prince Felix.

"May the result be according to what I expected." The Duke of Lumiere stood first and then followed by Prince Felix who walked behind him.

Before reaching the door, the Sasanian Crown Prince turned his head back to Prince Clainton, Declan, and Eve who were left in the room. "The family's show ends here. I, as the representative of King Sasania, thank you for your arrival, especially Lady Luvena who seems to have not gotten used to this state of chaos." The Crown Prince gave a faint smile. "Don't be afraid to attend the next family event, huh?"

Eve smiled in horror. By talking like that does the Crown Prince want to make himself obedient and always participate in the — event which he said family— this? For the next invitation, even if Zachary insists, Eve will not come.

"I'll try, Your Highness."

I'll try not to come again.

The Crown Prince nodded briefly. "I'll excuse you then. Enjoy your time."

...----------------...

Now Eve and Declan go hand in hand around the castle whose floor plan is harder to memorize than the puzzle pieces. The cold night wind did not dampen Eve's spirit to explore further. Declan wanted to take her back to the castle but the girl was still tight-lipped with her stance to look through the contents of the palace. With a heavy heart Declan relented. Instead, the man five years older than Eve took off his robe of greatness and attached it to Eve's much smaller shoulder.

"We've been around for a long time but I don't see the queen's whereabouts" Eve said as she stared at the beautiful flower garden next to the street.

"Maybe he was just getting ready when our family event ended."

Eve looked at her sister's face with narrowed eyes. "Hey, is it polite to comment like that about Her Majesty the Queen?"

Declan raised his shoulders. "You'll know after you know him yourself."

In response, Eve snorted. After being silent for a while, Eve spoke again. "But of the many events I've met, it turns out that the family events at the palace are much more unique than anything."

"Is that so?"

Eve nodded steadily. "Everywhere the family event feels familiar and free, not foreign and stiff as before. Just look at the end, His Majesty the King and His Grace even quarreled when there was nothing to dispute, right?"

Declan's steps came to a halt, as did Eve's astonishment. He looked at Eve carefully.

"You know nothing about the cause of their dispute?"

Eve shakes her head. "His Majesty the King doesn't like Lady Britney?"

"More than that and this concerns the relationship of the Duke of Lumiere and mama" Declan replied seriously. Look around, ascertaining whether there are others who will hear or none at all. In any case, he would tell about a problem that only the government and the Lumiere Family could know about.

"And the Averish family requested that their daughter, Lady Margaret, be married to the Duke of Lumiere, so?"

Declan nodded, "That's right."

"But out of so many requests ... why did the Earl of Averish ask for that instead?" revealed Eve who did not understand where the Averish Family's mind was headed.

"First, establishing a relationship with one of the members of the kingdom is the most targeted position. Moreover, the Duke of Lumiere was extremely adept at monopolizing trade and land development. It meant a lot to the Averish Family who needed capital assistance. The most important reason ... Lady Margaret, whose maiden was the favorite daughter of the Earl of Averish, loved the Duke of Lumiere from the beginning, although she knew that her feelings would be applauded."

It felt like Eve wanted to drop her jaw so unreliable with the reality Declan had just exposed. So the marriage of the Duke of Lumiere and his mother was motivated by the coercion of His Majesty the King?

If so, then naturally the Duke of Lumiere was angry. He did not get the throne, but his freedom in choosing a partner was instead seized at will by his brother who served as king.

"So where's Lady Britney now?"

"As His Majesty said, Her Ladyship is in the west for whatever reason. Only His Grace knew why she was leaving" replied Declan, who finally resumed his steps, followed by Eve, whom he had made haste.

"Wait—"

"If you still want to ask about this, I'm sorry but I'm tired of talking. Next time if I want to, I'll tell it again" Declan said back in flat mode.

"Look, by the time I've been curious at a high level you're acting like this." Eve's upset not playing. He grabbed Declan's blonde mane and hit her on the head. "Tell me again, Declan!"

"Remember, we're still in the palace. It's better to be patient for a while until we get back to the castle."

Eve sloshed her tongue. "If you know this, why not just say everything later? I don't like half. Better—"

"Your mouth is really like His Grace's broken radio" Declan muttered with one of his hands smothering Eve's mouth until the girl's voice was muffled. "Can you stop? Your voice is making my head woozy."

"You liken me to a broken radio?" Eve slips. As per his initial intentions, he tried his hardest to reach for Declan's blonde mane. "From your head. Looks like you've never tried a hair massage, have you?"

"Massage? It's torture!" Declan could not keep quiet as Eve ferociously almost pulled her hair. Their apparent height difference for the first time can make a Declan grateful. At least he didn't need to run dodging the very-very Eve .. crazy!

"You guys turned out here—eh." Ethan who saw the two seemed to be in disbelief. "Declan, what's going on!"

"Tell that to your crazy sister" replied Declan who was still busy struggling with Eve. "Hurry and keep him away from me or tomorrow I'll be bald!"

"Eve, Eve, Eve! So, why is it like this?" Ethan catches Eve's body with one hand. In an instant Eve was already unable to move wildly anymore.

Eve looked up. Instantly his anger goes out when he finds out who is holding him. "Eh, Ethan. Long time no see. Where's Beckett?"

Ethan frowned for a moment. Oh, so his name's not changed anymore with Declan?

"In the training barracks with General Nicholas. Wanna see?"

Eve nodded enthusiastically. "Ah, yes. I've never seen a training barracks. Come, Ethan. We have to get there!"

Look, his anger is gone.

"Then come on!" Ethan glanced at Declan at a glance. "I'll go first. If there's anything, we're at the training barracks."

Declan shook his head, "I'm coming with you."

"Based on the heirs there is no work!" Eve throttles towards Declan. "There-there, I want to have fun with my two brothers. Don't follow!"

"Well, that's right. A few hours ago you monopolized Eve for yourself. Now let us be with him, will we?" ethan said, who was answered by a steady nod by Eve.

Declan growled, "The bottom of the ungodly sister," he muttered in annoyance. "Yes, just go there. Just be careful if you ask me for something."

Eve raised her head high. "Huh, it won't!"
