Just as the name suggests, the festival held once a year in a day is able to make the streets so brightly lit not less than the sunlight during the day. "This badge is centaur shaped." Lucas returns amused with Eve's playful frowning expression. "Do you know what a centaur is?"

Eve nodded. "The mythological creature was a half-horse human. I've heard it," Eve muttered and then snorted curiously, "I think this thing has meaning. Hey, prince, tell me, what are you trying to keep secret?"

"Oh, is it clear that I'm hiding something? All right, I'll confess." Lucas raised both his hands in the air. Even so, his smile had not receded at all. "Centaur badge does have its own meaning. You'll find out soon enough, but not now."

"It's made of regular iron, right?"

Lucas nodded. "Nothing special, actually."

"Hm, this time I'm trying to trust you. This centaur badge—"

Eve had not had time to finish her words, a group of soldiers who saw them across the street there suddenly turned their heads and walked up to —even almost chasing. Eve did not have time to digest the situation, and thankfully the perceptive Lucas immediately grabbed her hand and fled from the group of soldiers just now.

"Master, Miss! Wait!"

"Maybe they know Lumiere's only daughter ran away from home?" guess Lucas with a mysterious smile on his lips. Before long they meandered, passing through the sidelines of a fairly narrow building, then hid behind an old unused building on the other side of the road.

After the scream and some time passed, Lucas tried to peek. A sigh of relief slid from his lips, signaling the Lumiere people had already left from before them. Slowly he removed his hold from Eve.

Realizing their hands were still clinging, Lucas hurriedly let go awkwardly. Eve threw away her face, while the prince cleared his throat as a transition from shame. Okay, let's just say that the last incident never happened. The point!

After a short period of silence, Lucas made a voice, a distinctive heavy voice that only men have. Eve turned back, looking up a little. Lucas is pretty tall for himself. In a place isolated from the candle festivals out there, only moonlight becomes their natural light. However, Eve could clearly see Lucas' sparkling clear netra, like a pearl on the ocean floor. In a moment, he was stunned. As if lost and trapped in the dark gray bead so that Eve can not see other men besides the prince.

"If your family finds out you left without permission, what will you do?"

Eve nodded slowly. Ah, Lucas and Xerr are the same person, but have different personalities. Some kind of mask other than the prince?

And most importantly, Eve only realized and knew very well what Lucas meant by suddenly offering himself home when the candle festival itself had just begun.
