"Please come in." Said Mr. Haris.

Then Elis went in and shook hands with Mr. Haris.

"Please sit down Elis' mother." Said Mr. Haris.

"Thank you sir." Said Elis.

"Can I help you?" Said the lawyer.

"Yes sir. I need my father's help to help with my friend's case. Right now my friend is in jail for causing an accident and there's one death." Elis said while telling the details of the beginning of the accident.

"Well Elis' mother, I'll study the case that befell Mr. Ardy and I'll go to the police station and see him." Said Mr. Haris.

"Thank you sir. Then please excuse me." Elis said as he said goodbye and walked out of his office.

Then Elis did not go directly to the office, but to the police station to meet his best friend and bring his favorite food.

Arriving at the police station Ardy was sitting in a corner while daydreaming and thinking about his future.

"Ardy?" Elis said when he got permission to meet his best friend.

Then the police opened the door and took them to the reception room. They were given half an hour to talk.

The police came out and waited for them outside, just in case.

"How are you doing?" Ask Elis.

"As you can see, I must again accept my defeat against destiny. I really wish I could see my daughter but I'm in jail. I was hoping to meet and see my daughter, but Nadiya left me and we got divorced. Nasip is very cruel to me. Now let me never fight him again. I'll see what fate can do to me." Ardy said in despair.

"Don't say that Ardy. Your words are like a knife piercing my heart. I'm so sad to hear that." Elis said as she shed tears.

"What can I do now? I'm in jail, soon my career will be ruined and my good name tainted. I am like a useless and evil human being. Have I lost the life of an innocent man? What else can I expect from my life?" Said Ardy looking at Elis with a sad look.

"Don't say that Ardy. I'm gonna fight to help you get out of here. I'll use the best lawyers in town." The word Elis convinced Ardy not to give up hope and still have the spirit of life.

"I've given up there's no point in me going against my destiny." Ardy said while looking down.

"No Ardy it was all an accident. It's not entirely your fault." Elis said while reassuring Ardy if it was all an accident.

"Sorry your visiting time is up." Said a policeman.

"Good sir." Elis said while giving a paper bag containing Ardy's change of clothes and food and drinks.

"I go home first, tomorrow I'll see you again." Elis said as he walked out of the room. Ardy nodded and brought the paper bag back into the holding room.

Elis then exited the police station and went straight back to his office. He's got to be there to replace Ardy temporarily. Later at the entrance Elis meets Joan who is talking to some office employees.

Joan who saw Elis came immediately pretended to be good and asked Ardy.

"Why did you come in here?" Elis asked in surprise.

"Yes because Mr. Ardy is not in the office then I took the initiative to help you." Elis then smiles and is happy that Joan may be reliable while Ardy is absent. Isn't Joan Ardy's friend? Surely he is as good as Ardy, the inner Elis.

"Well while Mr. Ardy is not in the office then you can help me with my work." Elis said and handed him some files.

"Sit down here I'll go into my room." Said Elis. Later if you are done please put it in my room. And report to me if there's anything I need to know. Elis said to Joan.

"Good Mom." Then Joan sat down in Ardy's chair and started to get busy with some files piling up on the table. Indeed, he is also quite experienced because he was once the CEO of his wife, Karina. So that his experience is currently very useful and helps him in handling the company as long as Ardy is not around.

Joan began to smile after half of her work was done. He's going overtime tonight to draw Elis' sympathy. Because the opportunity never came twice, so he had to use it as well as he could.

At 12pm he was finally able to finish all his work and get out of the office.

Karina's been calling from earlier and Joan hasn't picked her up because she's so busy. Then before returning home he called Karina and told her she was on her way home.

Tomorrow Elis' mother will be surprised because I finished the job on time. And I'm ready to take a compliment from him. Oh Joan.you are a true hero. You always arrive on time and help those in need. He praised himself as always.

Nadiya was sitting with Prasetyo while watching television together.

"My feeling is not good. How about we go home next week?" Ask Nadiya on Prasetyo.

"But.. Shouldn't we still be three weeks here?" Prasetyo said it seemed to object because he had not even accepted Nadiya completely.

"Yes but I don't feel good for some reason? What if we get home earlier than we planned?" Nadiya.

"Well if you want us to go home sooner. Now we better get some sleep, I'm already sleepy." Prasetyo then asked Nadiya to sleep in the room.

Prasetyo was already lying on the bed and waiting for Nadiya while thinking of something. I don't know what he's thinking because he's smiling to himself.

"Come to Nadiya...since we came home early can I ask you something?" Prasetyo asked while sitting opposite Nadiya on the bed.

They were silent for a moment, and Prasetyo looked at Nadiya's eyes gently. His gaze pierced through Nadiya's heart and made his heart thump.

"Can we....do it now?" Prasetyo asked because he also wanted to know Nadiya's heart and what she meant to Nadiya.

Nadiya fell silent and looked at Prasetyo with various feelings that were difficult to express.

"I.I.I...." His breathing began to fall apart. Nadiya then sighed and questioned him for a while until he finally had the strength to fight against the shadow of his past. And assured her that it would not happen at her wedding this time.
