FORTY-FIVE

“Love, I'm sorry, all this time I knew absolutely nothing about your life” Qiandra said guiltily.  Qiandra opens the conversation with Dean after Bik Sum is picked up by Bryan and escorted to a hotel room to rest there.

“Don't worry, honey, we still have a lot of time to get to know each other, I really understand if you don't know anything about my life, because indeed all this time you don't want to think about me anymore kan” said Dean with a gentle smile.  She stroked the long hair of her lover who was leaning against her chest.

Qiandra lifted her body and looked at Dean's eyes wistfully, “I'm sorry, love, but will you share the story of yourself with me, at least I know how your life is.  And, oh yeah, I

remember, that night, when doctor Albert came to my office, he said that what you were doing back then was triggered because of your past trauma, what did he mean, love” Qiandra asked enthusiastically.

Dean sighed for a moment, his eyes closed with a deep frowning forehead, the pain suddenly pierced back into his heart.  “Love, I'm sorry, if it's too much for you to share with me, don't be forced, I don't care kok” said Qiandra gently, she realized there must be a very big problem, she said, so this tough guy looks really depressed.

Dean grabbed both of Qiandra's hands, tightly clasped with both of her hands, as if expecting some strength to flow for her.  Qiandra stared at Dean intensely, she returned Dean's hand gently, “I'm always ready, love, how heavy it is, if you want to share with me, I'm ready”.

Dean took a deep breath again, “What Daniel never told you, honey” asked Dean suddenly.

“Daniel?, what is the matter with Daniel” Qiandra asked, he was getting clueless and increasingly curious about Dean's life story.

“Our story began about five years ago” Dean stared deep out the window of that treatment room, through the darkness of that dark night out there.

Flashback….

Five years ago

“Good morning, Young Master, please introduce my name is Risty Alexandra, I am secretary to Mr. Walt Zacharias, please Young Master with friends waiting for Mr. Walt, I have a special, because he still has a meeting” a beautiful woman with a body like a Spanish guitar, greeting Dean along with his two best friends who visit his father's company.

“Hmmm, alright, thank you ya” Dean said nonchalantly, then stepped inside his father's room.

“Crazy, that papah secretary what photo model sich, really beautiful, that body, wow” exclaimed doctor Albert.  The young doctor who had just completed his study was indeed famous for not being able to see beautiful women.  He is very happy to play with beautiful women even though it is not too far away, because he also takes care of his health.

“Hallo, papah children, ah, special today you want to visit the papah” office said the man greeted the three handsome young men in his room.

The three young men immediately stood up, starting from Dean they alternately hugged the middle-aged man.  “Forcuse us Pah, we can only visit the papah office now” Dean told the father.

“Hah, you guys are really proud papah, then how do you plan next” asked papah Walt on the three young men when they had sat back.

“If Al, it is certain to return to the hospital again Pah, then the Director has asked Al to immediately report himself” said Doctor Albert.

Vian and Albert have been Dean's best friends since he was in elementary school, all three of whom are like three inseparable brothers.  However, the economic situation of the Vian and Albert families made the two young men almost unable to continue their education.  And, Dean asked his father for help to finance his second education.

Papah Walt is happy to help both, with the record both of them want to be his son and brother to Dean.  Of course, the two young men agreed, because without that help the three of them were like brothers.

“And Dean, how about you, are you ready to take over this company” asked papah Walt to his son.

“Pah, Dean is not ready, Dean wants to try from scratch first with Vian, we already have a small company and we will develop slowly” said Dean.

“Haish, meaning you have not allowed this old man to retire ya” lamented Walt.

“Papah is still fresh gini, dear donk if you have to retire too soon” said Dean tease the father.

“Hah, you can talk let papah give you permission yes, and you are Vian, how do you plan” asked papah Walt on Vian who is famous for being more quiet than the three young men.

“I am ready to follow where Dean steps, Pah, I remain committed to always be beside Dean” said Vian firmly.

“Do not like that, Vian, papah sent you so that you can be independent, so if you want you can start learning to work in this company replacing one of the directors here” said papah Walt.  Even if he's paying for Vian's school, Walt doesn't want Vian to always be under Dean, he wants the three boys

be the leader of all.

“No, Pah, this has been my determination, and I will feel disappointed if Papah also Dean does not accept me” said Vian.

“Hey, don't talk like that, Bro, you know I'm always ready, whatever you want” exclaimed Dean who didn't want to see his best friend disappointed.

Suddenly the door of their room was knocked from the outside, after the papah Walt let in, the secretary came with a drink for the three boss guests.  “Risty, you already know the three of them right, the three of them are prospective successors of Zacharias”, Walt told his secretary.

“Yes, Sir, I already know Mr. Dean, Mr. Albert and Mr. Vian” said Risty, his eyes glancing at Dean with a look full of charm.  The good looks of a Dean is very easy to make waver the faith of every woman around him.

While Dean, just being ordinary even seemed a little haughty, because he was used to it as it faced the women who were always chasing him.  It's very different from Albert, Dean and Vian the type of men who don't like to play around with women.  If Dean had known dating, Vian, never wanted to.

“Ris, why are you holding the drink,” asked Papah Walt who smiled when he saw his secretary was fascinated by his son.

Such was the friendship and brotherhood of the three of them, even though they were like that, Albert and Vian always put Dean first in everything.  And whatever Dean's decision is, the two of them won't argue with him as long as it's for their good.  Including women, even if Albert is a playboy, he will not dare to disturb women who like Dean, and if Dean already likes a woman, he will not be, then Vian and Albert will look after him just like Dean.
