ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY-FOUR

Dean, Vian's assistant and Albert's doctor stared at all of the bodyguards with sharp eyes.  Even though they have capable martial skills, but if they have to face this many enemies it will definitely not be easy.  Not to mention Dean who would not be able to move at all because his hand was still holding Qiandra's body.

All of Daniel's bodyguards were on full alert as they watched the three men descend from the second floor.  Especially when they saw Dean who was carrying the Qiandra, they started to close the ranks to block the third step of the man.  They even began to move forward and stepped closer to Dean and his two best friends.

“Let them”

A voice echoing from upstairs made everyone immediately turn their eyes and look at the source of the sound.  A handsome man yet with cold eyes stared down.  All the bodyguards that were originally about to block Dean's steps, Vian's assistant and Albert's doctor were instantly fixated on hearing the order.

“You heard no, give them a way and let them take it away from here” said the man who was none other than Daniel Putra Mahardika to the bodyguards who still doubt it.

Hearing the loud cry of their leader, made the bodyguards immediately move and paved the way for the three people.  Dean stared up at a glance, to then immediately continue his pace in haste.  Vian's assistant led their steps in front, with Dean holding Qiandra in the middle and being overtaken by Albert's doctor.

“Dean, this affair between us, do not involve my men, I will release your bodyguards, but you also have to release all my men” exclaimed Daniel made the steps of the three men stopped.

Dean looked up, as a leader, Dean could understand Daniel's wishes.  Although in his little heart he wanted to destroy everyone involved, Dean also knew that they were all just carrying out orders.  However, unlike the bodyguards Daniel, they did not accept the decision of their leader.

“Tuan .....” exclaims the bodyguards Daniel simultaneously, but not cared for by Daniel.

“Deal ...” exclaimed Dean who, in addition to understanding Daniel's wishes, also realized that they are currently the losing side.  In addition, Dean also did not want to argue too much with Daniel.  For Dean, Qiandra's current safety was paramount.

After agreeing to Daniel's request, Dean resumed his steps.  While assistant Vian held on for a while and gave orders to the bodyguards who were outside to come in and help his comrades.

Dean took Qiandra directly to the helicopter that was ready to leave, doctor Albert and assistant Vian immediately followed into the helicopter.  “Put Qiqi in the most comfortable position, I must immediately install an infusion for her” doctor Albert exclaimed at Dean.

Dean nodded and slowly adjusted the position of Qiandra in the helicopter so that the woman could lean comfortably in his arms.  After seeing that the position of Qiandra was quite comfortable, Albert's doctor immediately put the infusion liquid quickly in the woman's hand.  While Vian's assistant helps Albert's doctor to take care of all his equipment.

“Live to hospital” exclaimed doctor Albert to assistant Vian who forwarded by assistant Vian to the pilot who was in front.  Albert's doctor took out some of his instruments and began a thorough examination of the Qiandra.

Dean looked at Albert with a very worried heart, he felt the body of the wife so weak in his arms.  Vian's assistant took out a thick blanket, then helped envelop Qiandra's body to keep the woman from feeling cold.  Afterwards, Vian's assistant helped Dean remove the fixture on the male's body which could make Qiandra feel uncomfortable.

Doctor Albert's sad face after he finished checking the state of Qiandra made Dean even more worried.  “Hold, Qi” hiss doctor Albert who made Dean who, even though he only saw the lips of doctor Albert, understood that his wife's condition was not good.

Doctor Albert grabbed Dean's hand and told him to hug Qiandra even tighter, “Warm him” he exclaimed with a slow lip gesture for Dean to understand.  Dean who understood the meaning of the doctor Albert let go of his embrace to unbutton the clothes he was wearing.

Vian's assistant, who understood what his superior wanted to do, immediately helped Dean to remove all of his upper clothes.  Then Dean opened the Qiandra shirt on his back so that the skin of the two came into contact without any obstructions.  Vian's assistant also took another blanket and wrapped it around Dean and Qiandra's bodies.

While the doctor Albert gently massaged the Qiandra soles with a therapeutic massage that can help facilitate the woman's blood circulation.  While Vian's assistant continued to try to communicate with the hospital, until he could connect and immediately ordered the hospital to prepare facilities to welcome Qiandra.

The sixty minutes of travel they made felt very long for all of them in the helicopter.  And when the helicopter landed on the helipad above the Zacharias family hospital, a number of health workers were on standby there.  Dean immediately descended and lifted Qiandra's body tightly, as if afraid that body was thrown by the wind of the helicopter's propeller which still had not completely stopped.

Dean placed Qiandra's body slowly over the padded gurney that had been prepared there.  Dean wanted to immediately follow the gurney, but Vian's assistant held back by giving the man a shirt.  It turned out that Dean did not realize that he did not wear a single piece of cloth to cover his upper body.

It was only fitting that he had felt astonished to see the health workers, most of whom were women, barely daring to raise their faces staring at him.  How not, an athletic body with sixpack abdominal muscles plastered in front of their eyes, of course makes all women misbehave.

However, Dean didn't care about it.  He grabbed the shirt given by Vian's assistant, and while running he caught up with the gurney carrying the Qiandra.  Dean just put the buttons on his shirt with the origin to cover his body.  Without realizing it, if his random appearance the scramble actually adds to the macho impression of the man.

When about to enter the emergency room, the nurse blocked Dean's steps, “Sorry, Sir, you can only drive up here” the nurse said in a voice slightly shaking with fear.

“You know who I am, Dean exclaimed making the nurse tremble, ”So, get out of my way“ hissed again sharply.

The nurse was visibly trembling in the face of the sharp gaze and drew from the eyes of the owner of the hospital.  He did not dare to speak out again to ban Dean, but he also did not step aside from Dean.  Fortunately, not long after, Albert's doctor came to the place and saved the nurse.

“Keep away, Bro, let us carry out our duties, and don't make a mess” said Dr. Albert.  Even the handsome doctor himself shut the emergency room door in front of Dean.  Because if not Albert's doctor, Dean would not have followed the other nurse's words.

“Save, he, I beg” sizzled Dean in a weak voice who was only answered with a nod of the head and a pat on his shoulder by doctor Albert, before doctor Albert closed the door of the room.

Dean looked at his wife's gurney being pushed away into the emergency room, and when his eyes could no longer see, it was then that Dean's body suddenly sank.  Dean felt as if he had lost all his strength, when he saw that the person he loved so much was in such a state.

Vian's assistant who saw Dean's state like that, immediately approached the male and grabbed the burly body.  Vian's assistant also immediately guided Dean's frail body towards one of the waiting chairs in front of the emergency room.  Vian's assistant did not say anything, he simply patted Dean's shoulder slowly, as if giving the man strength.

Dean simply stepped in to follow where Vian's assistant was leading him, and as he sat down, his eyes again stared at the emergency room's door.  His gaze looked so hollow, as if all of his spirit had been lost.  Dean did not even make any sound, so the atmosphere became completely silent.

Vian's assistant also did not want to disturb the man, he even contacted his men in a slow voice and slightly moved away from Dean.  And not for how long, a boy they came with a paper bag and also coffee in a paper cup.  Vian's assistant immediately took all of it from the hands of his men.

“Thank you, and wasted some of the best bodyguards around here also in this hospital area, immediately report if there is anything suspicious” said assistant Vian to his men.

“Good, Tuan” said the man then immediately passed from the presence of Vian's assistant.  Vian's assistant had already ordered that the emergency room be sterilized, so that no one passed by in the place.

Vian's assistant approached Dean and placed the hot coffee in front of the man.  The aroma of coffee that was immediately inhaled by Dean turned out to only make the man turn his head for a moment towards the glass.  Then Dean again set his eyes on the emergency room door and ignored the coffee again.

“This is your change of clothes, Tuan” said assistant Vian while putting a paper bag in his hand next to Dean.  Vian's assistant knew that Dean always changed his clothes immediately if he just returned from activities in the open.

However, again there was no reaction from Dean when Vian's assistant told him that.  Dean did not even turn his head towards Vian's assistant, as if not hearing what the assistant said.  Vian's assistant could only exhale slowly, nor did he intend to force Dean, he deeply understood the man's condition.

Vian's assistant felt a tremor in the phone in his pants pocket, when he opened it he saw a call from Jossie's number.  Vian's assistant immediately returned to call Jossie's number because the call had been interrupted.

“Master, is it true my brother has been found, where he is now, how he is, is he okay, is he ...” Jossie asked a question that was fixed to Vian's assistant.

“Come to Zacharias hospital, private” emergency room said Vian's assistant disconnected the tubied question from Jossie.  The man didn't even answer any of Jossie's many questions.  Even after saying that, Vian's assistant immediately disconnected the phone.

It was not because of disrespect for Jossie as the only Qiandra foster sister that made Vian's assistant do such a thing.  He just didn't want to talk too much and give an explanation to Jossie.  Since he was certain, one answer would make the woman make the next barrage of questions.  While Vian's assistant really didn't want Dean's current calm to be distracted by anything.

Vian's assistant was very upset with Dean's situation like this.  If there is a commotion that damages his troubled mood, then he will not hesitate to expel the commotion maker with harsh words.  And Vian's assistant was very unwilling to make his boss and best friend must add weight to his mind with vain anger.

Vian's assistant only gave orders to his men who were guarding the outside of the room to hold back if Jossie came to the place.  He asked them to explain to Jossie not to talk much and make a fuss.  And if Jossie still looks panicked, Vian's assistant asks his men to hold the woman until she can calm down and then he is allowed to approach the emergency room.

After that, Vian's assistant went back into silence, he just sat down and leaned a bit away from Dean who was still sitting glued.  Unlike Dean, whose eyes kept on the door of the emergency room, Vian's assistant looked at Dean more often from a distance.  Vian's assistant must still make sure that his best friend is okay, even though his mood is chaotic.

Several hours of time passed without the two people noticing.  It was not long before Jossie along with doctor Jimmy as well Bik Sum came to the room.  And it seemed like they had indeed been ordered by the guards outside so as not to ask and make a fuss.  So the three just came and immediately sat in the waiting chair near Vian's assistant.   However, they all immediately stood up when they saw Doctor Albert coming out with a lethargic face.
