Love Kania

Love Kania
Part 7's

After Arya's departure, Tania takes Kania to her room. The little girl looked enthusiastic and invited Kania to play with her. "Ma, are we cooking, yuk?" Take Kania out while taking out his play equipment.

Kania just smiled as she watched the little girl who was busy arranging her play equipment. "Today, what are we cooking, Ma?" asked the girl while placing a small cauldron on her toy stove.

"What cooking, huh? It's up to Tania, deh."

"Then we cook fried rice. Papa likes fried rice." The little girl started cooking like real cooking. Kania just smiled looking at her behavior.

Arya, meanwhile, seemed to smile as she recalled the happy laughter of her little daughter and it was thanks to a woman she had just known.

"Morning, Sir." Sapa a beautiful woman who was already standing in front of him with a smile.

"Again, Tia." Arya returned her greeting. The beautiful woman then sat back at her desk and Arya walked into her room.

The bag he carried was placed on the table and he sat down while opening the file that his secretary had just brought. "Did I have an appointment today?"

"Nothing, sir."

"Yes, already. You can go."

"Good, sir."

Arya then picks up her phone and makes a video call with her daughter.

"Hello, Papa." Tania smiled as she waved at her father.

"You're not naughty, are you?"

"No, Pa."

"What's Papa's son playing?"

"Me and Mama are making fried rice, Pa." The little girl pointed her cell phone camera at Kania who was temporarily arranging the toy plates on the small table. Kania who realized that could only smile.

"May Papa talk to Brother?"

"By, Pa." The little girl handed her phone to Kania.

"What's wrong?" Kania looked at the mobile screen and saw the face of the man who looked handsome.

"My son doesn't make trouble, does he?"

"No, kok. Don't worry, he's a good, obedient boy." Kania looked at the little girl with a smile.

"All right then. Oh yes, if you need anything just ask Bi Suri."

"All right." Kania nodded and handed the phone back to Tania. The father and son then continued their conversation.

Kania took his phone while it was being charged and turned it on after it died last night from low bat. The girl was shocked when she saw 27 missed calls from Bastian. Kania called him. "Kania, where are you?" Bastian looked anxious and slightly shouted at the girl to make her ears ring.

"I'm working, Bas. I'm sorry, because last night my phone died." Kania explained. His face looked bitter because of the scolding of his best friend.

"Where did you sleep last night?"

"Sleep at my work." Kania spontaneously answered.

"What do you do and where do you work?"

For a moment Kania was silent because she was confused to explain to her best friend. Suddenly Tania came and hugged him. "Ma, Papa's gonna come home and have lunch with us."

On the other end of the phone, Bastian clearly heard the little girl's words. "Kania, what does that mean? The mama? Papa's? What exactly are you doing?" bastian asked so hard that he made Kania panic.

"Already, yes, Bas. I'll call you later." Kania hangs up the phone and makes Bastian even more curious.

"That girl, what exactly is she doing?" Bastian looks curious to make him impatient to meet his best friend.

Inside her office, Arya recalled Kania. Moreover, when the girl wore a negligee that made her think of her wife. A photo album was taken out of his desk drawer. Carefully, Arya opened every photo sheet that plastered his wife's face. Seen, a smile was etched on his face. "Rani, I miss you, miss you so much. Do you miss me too?" Arya reopened the album sheet and saw photos of Tania since she was a baby, but her wife's face was no longer found. Only she was always with Tania without a mother by her daughter's side.

Arya closed the photo album and put it back in her desk drawer. He realized, life must continue to run even though his life now feels empty without the presence of his wife. Only Tania can make him survive and just because of Tania, he has to survive in solitude.

His daydream was suddenly piqued as his phone rang. Seeing the name displayed on the screen of his phone made his face change. "What's wrong?"

"Mas, I'm at your door. I want to see my niece, can I, right?" Lina, his sister-in-law seemed to never stop bothering him.

"What else did you meet Tania for? Didn't I tell you not to see him for now?"

"I'm sorry, Mas. I just wanted to meet to apologize to Tania."

"That's not necessary, go back and for now don't see Tania just yet."

"Sorry, Mas. I'm already in your house and I'm on my way to Tania's room." The woman hung up her phone.

Suddenly, Arya then got up and rushed out of her study. "Tia, you take care of work today, I'll go home first."

Arya then drives her car and returns home. Rina's disputing attitude makes Arya can't stand her. Were it not for the woman being his sister-in-law, Arya would not have allowed the woman to be close to her daughter.

Rina walked towards Tania's room while carrying a bag containing toys. He wanted to take Tania's attention back with those toys. In the room, Tania was playing and laughing with Kania. Until the door of her room opened and Lina appeared and stood in front of them.

Seeing a woman with her niece made her eyes widen. "Who are you?" Rina looked at him as she walked up to Tania and wanted to carry her, but the little girl refused and hid behind Kania.

"Sorry, I just ..."

"Tania, come with Auntie. Don't get close to people you don't know." Rina tries to take Tania while hiding behind Kania, but the little girl refuses again, making Kania hold her.

"Sorry, it seems Tania doesn't want to get close to you." Kania walked out of the room and tried to avoid the woman.

"Hey, who do you think you are to dare to keep me away from my own nephew? Give him to me and you better get out of here!" Rina pulled Kania's shoulders until they stood face to face.

"I'm a nobody, but at least I didn't scare her. Look at him, he's scared to see you. You should be aware of why Tania is scared like this and I can't let her be scared because of you."

Kania's words made the woman furious. "Basic women don't know themselves! Give Tania to me and now you're out of this house!" Rina again tries to take Tania, but the little girl cries even more and hugs Kania tightly.

"Give Tania to me." Suddenly Arya appears and takes Tania from Kania's embrace and walks away from the two women. Rina who felt neglected followed Arya from behind.

"Mas Arya, I want to apologize to Mas and Tania. I knew I was wrong, so I came to apologize, and I wanted to visit my own niece, was that wrong?"

"You better come back because Tania doesn't want to see you" said Arya who made Rina blush.

Seeing their quarrel, Kania decides to clean the room from the toys scattered on the floor. Unconcerned about the two, Kania tries to stay calm even though her past memories start to disturb her.

The sound of his parents' bickering again ringed in his ear to make him cover his ears with both hands. I don't feel her tears falling. Faintly, she heard Tania's crying voice while calling for mama. Kania then stood up and walked up to Arya and grabbed Tania from her carrier.

"Be quiet, Mama is here." Unknowingly, Kania blurted out that sentence to make Rina stare at him. Not only Rina, Arya who clearly heard Kania's words could only be silent without a word.

Kania then took the little girl to the yard. Carrying her, Kania stroked her back with tears soaking her face. "Calm down, Mama will take care of you. Don't cry anymore." Kania hugged the little girl tightly while peeping her forehead.

Arya could only stare at them from inside the house. I don't know what he's feeling right now.

"Can you tell me who that woman is?" Rina stood beside Arya and hoped to get an explanation from the man.

"She's the woman who found Tania when you lost her in the mall." Suddenly, Rina was surprised. His eyes were immediately on the page.

"Oh, so that's why Mas brought her to this house? And, what does Tania mean to call her mama? Was that the woman who had taught Tania to call her mama?"

Arya looked towards him. "Do you think Tania is that easy to call just any woman by the name of mama? Then why do you think Tania didn't call you mama? And why is Tania crying and not wanting to get close to you?" Arya's question left Rina cornered.

"Why can't you answer? You knew Tania from the moment she was born, but she never once called you mama, but that woman only knew Tania and Tania called her mama, do you know why it could be like that? It's because he loves Tania." Arya's words so struck her heart that it made her angry.

"Why? Did Mas like it? Do you want to forget your promise to my brother?"

"I haven't forgotten my promise to Rani, but I'll make my promise to Rani a reality." Arya said without the slightest hesitation while looking at Kania who was carrying her daughter.

"What do you mean, Mom? Did you like it?"

"Go and don't meet Tania just yet. Don't piss me off because I could never let you see Tania again. So you better go home." Arya walks away leaving her and meets Kania in the courtyard. "Come in, take Tania back to her room." Kania nodded and went inside the house. In front of Rina, Kania walked over without caring about her. Tania, who had fallen asleep in Kania's arms, was placed on her bed.

Lina who felt rejected then left the house without saying a word. His heart was broken because the man he liked did not want it. Even so, he wouldn't give up just like that. In any way she should be able to become the mistress in that house.

Seeing Tania fall asleep made Kania smile. Her hand tightly grasped the girl's tiny hand while sitting beside her.

Arya slowly opened the door of the room and saw Kania who was sitting while holding her daughter's hand. "I'm sorry if you have to have trouble because of that woman. She's my wife's sister and her attitude is like that."

"I don't care, but you should never fight in front of Tania. He's a kid and he doesn't deserve to see your quarrel." Kania let go of her hand and rushed out leaving Arya who was still standing staring at her daughter.

Arya then came out after peeping her daughter's cheek. Kania is seen sitting on a yard bench while enjoying the wind that slowly blows. Arya then approached him and sat down beside him.

"I know we've only known each other, and even today I don't know your name." Arya smiled wryly to make Kania glance at her.

"I'm Kania. Kania Juliet." Kania spoke spontaneously until Arya looked at him.

"You two names are similar. Ah, I could have called you wrong." Arya smiled as she leaned her back on the bench.

"My name is Arya Wicaksana, you can call me Arya." Continue the man.

Kania nodded. "I'm sorry before, but where's Tania's mother? As long as I'm here, I don't see him?" Kania's question made Arya's countenance change.

"My wife is dead. She died giving birth to Tania." Arya's reply made Kania surprised. She did not expect, Tania had been living without the affection of her mother. Unknowingly, Kania shed tears and immediately entered the little girl's room. Arya, who was surprised by his attitude, followed him.

In front of her, she saw Kania sitting in front of her daughter while crying. Gently, Kania stroked Tania's tiny face. Not only that, Kania even kissed the little girl's cheek and stroked her hair. Tania's tiny hands were even placed on her cheeks and occasionally kissed.

Seeing Kania who was so attentive to her daughter made Arya touched. Not once did his daughter get that kind of attention, even from her own aunt. Although in fact, Arya once had thoughts of marrying her sister-in-law, because then her daughter can get affection. But apparently, he had to be disappointed because his sister-in-law was not able to reach his daughter's heart even the woman looked insincere to love her own nephew.

Arya walked out of the room and into her room. She saw her wedding photo on the wall of her room with a smile. "Rani, that girl loves our daughter so much. Does that mean I have to keep my promise to you?" Clear water slowly came down from his eye sashes while looking at the photo of his smiling wife.
