The Part 32

That day, the atmosphere of the house looked quiet. Arya has been on leave for a week and that day she has to return to work as usual. Wicaksana is not visible. The middle-aged man had been out since morning because he had to do a check up at one of his trusted doctors.

"Surti, I'm asking you to take care of Tania for a moment. I have to go somewhere. Can, right?" The young girl nodded in response to her employer's request. "Good, Mistress. Go, I'll take care of Miss."

Kania hastened. After explaining to Tania, Kania finally left. With a taxi, Kania left the courtyard of the mansion.

Unbeknownst to him, Ryan secretly follows him. Riding on a motorcycle and a face covered in a helmet, Ryan rushed after Kania who was slowly entering the burial area.

"Where is he going?" Ryan continued to pay attention until Kania stopped at one of the tombs that looked new.

In front of the still wet mound of earth, Kania sat down and stroked the tombstone inscribed with a name. A name so attached to his heart. "Mother, I'm coming." Kania looked down and did not feel, she shed tears.

"I miss you, Mom. I want to hug you." Her crying could no longer hold her until it made her cry. In front of the tomb, Kania cried as much as she could because of the longing that was so burning in her heart. Today, it is her birthday and usually her mother will make her favorite cake. However, it was never again he felt since 5 years ago, since his mother was sentenced to prison.

Across the street, Ryan was still watching. He was so curious about the tomb visited by Kania, that he finally decided to approach the girl.

Ryan then walked through several tombs and now, he was standing behind Kania. Clearly, she could hear Kania's crying voice until she finally decided to greet the girl. "What are you doing here? Whose tomb are you visiting?" Kania was shocked when she saw Ryan standing behind her.

"Why are you here? Are you secretly following me?" Kania wiped away the remaining tears on her cheeks and looked at Ryan who was now standing in front of her.

"Yes, I deliberately followed you because I wanted to find out about you. Wh why? Are you afraid that I know your ugliness and hypocrisy?"

"Sup to you. I won't care." Kania rushes to leave the tomb, but her hand is suddenly grabbed by Ryan.

"Other than you want from me, what??!!" Kania threw out the young man's hand and looked at Ryan with tears that had washed over his face. "Don't I apologize, but why do you always bother me?" Kania sobbing. His eyes were full of sadness. Ryan slowly let go of her hand and now, Kania sat down while crying.

Ryan turned his gaze toward the tomb and saw the name plastered on the tomb. "Is that his mother's name?" Ryan frowned and looked back at Kania. "Is this your mother's grave?" ryan asked, looking very curious. Kania did not reply, all that sounded was her sobbing.

"Kania, answer me. Is this your mother's grave?" Kania raised her face and looked at Ryan who was now looking at her. "Why? If yes, why?"

Ryan wails. He did not believe what Kania had just acknowledged. "You lied, right?"

"Whatever I say is a lie to you. If you don't believe me, why do you ask?" Kania got up and walked away, but the young man immediately chased after her. "Cania!!" Ryan pulled the girl's hand and looked at her sharply. "I'll believe it if you come straight to me. I will accept everything if from the beginning you do not betray me. Do you think I'm happy with what I did to you? Do you know how much it hurts my heart to see you with my sister?" Kania was surprised to hear the young man's words. He had not expected, Ryan would say those words.

"I'll go and won't bother you anymore, but let me hear your reasons why you used to betray me. After that, I'll go and let you be happy with my brother." Ryan looked sincere with his words.

"That's it, there's nothing I need to explain." Kania let go of the young man's hand and walked away from the burial area. Ryan then chased after her and grabbed the girl's body in his arms. "I'll forgive you even if you don't want to explain to me. I want to hate you, but I can't. I realize, I'm too late to be with you, but please, let me spend this day with you. 4 years I celebrate your birthday alone, therefore, for today only, for today only, allow me to celebrate your birthday just like I used to. After that, I'll leave and won't bother you anymore." Ryan shed tears. Same with Kania. Her tears fell upon hearing the young man's heart's expression that he didn't really hate.

As hateful and angry as Ryan is to Kania, but not as much as the love he feels for the girl. Looking at Kania, his hatred slowly receded. For some reason, his heart melted when he saw the woman who had made him fall in love was in front of his eyes. Instantly, the sense that once existed again disturbed his heart.

"Kania, please, help me not to hate you anymore because I can't hate you. I know I no longer deserve to have you because you're my sister's wife, but just once let me feel your love again, even if it's not what it used to be." Ryan still tightened his embrace until Kania broke free from the young man's embrace.

"Ryan, I'm sorry I couldn't do it. Now, I'm your sister's wife and I don't want to betray her. I'm sorry if I came back to upset you, but I don't want to let your sister down because she's my husband anyway." Although disappointed, Ryan understood that. He knew that his request was impossible to be granted by Kania. And it makes him even more certain about Kania's betrayal that to him might have been a coincidence.

"Did you deliberately want to stay away from me?" Suddenly, Kania was shocked.

Ryan smiled and stared intently at the girl. "Because I know you're a loyal woman. You are not easily tempted and you cannot hurt your partner's feelings. That's right, right?"

Kania turned her face away from being stared at by the young man, but too late, Ryan clearly saw the mimic of Kania's face that was slowly beginning to change. "Ah, I was right. Although I don't know what your reason is, at least I know that you didn't really betray me." Ryan released a smile as if he was relieved, at least he would not hate the girl anymore.

"Come, I want us to be together today. I want to spend this day with you and not refuse because if you refuse, I will not return to America and that means I can take you from my brother." Ryan looked earnest with his words so that Kania could not dwell. Ryan then grabbed Kania's hand and held it tightly. "Come, we're going."

"Where to? Ryan, don't do this, I don't want people to see us like this." Kania tried to resist, but the young man did not care. Kania's hand was not released, even his grip was increasingly moaned.

With Ryan's hand held, Kania walked up to the young man. His heart thumped as the young man's hand clasped his hand. Although reluctant, but Kania can not avoid the feeling of love that is still left. Yes, Kania can't lie to her heart if she actually still loves that young man.

Riding a motorcycle, they leave and Kania does not know where Ryan will take her, until the bike suddenly stops at one of the resorts that are familiar to Kania.

The resort that stands not far from the beach is where Kania celebrated her birthday with Ryan in the past. And that memory, now comes back to his memory. Where, Ryan is so romantic when celebrating his birthday by giving him a ring sign of his love for Kania.

"Do you remember this place?" Ryan smiled as he looked towards the surroundings of the resort.

"Why did you bring me here? Never mind, don't try to bring up our past. It's all over." Kania tries to shake off his memories at that place, but not with Ryan who wants to repeat his sweet memories with Kania.

Holding Kania's hand, Ryan walked towards the beach overgrown with coconut trees and neatly lined ketapang trees. The atmosphere in that place was very comfortable with the breeze of the sea blowing carrying the aroma of the sea tickling the nose of Kania. Suddenly, the shadow of Arya's face flashed across his memory. For some reason, the young man's face was suddenly present while he was with Ryan. Suddenly, Kania released her hand from the grasp of Ryan's hand that had not been released by the young man, but Ryan refused and still clasped his hand tightly. "Don't let go of your hand and let me hold yours. Can, right?" the young man's pinta to Kania.

"Ryan, don't do this. I beg you." Kania pleads for Ryan to let go of her hand and by force, Ryan complies with the girl's request.

"All right, I'll follow your request." Ryan smiled as he let go of his hand.

Before long, a waiter came with a box of cookies that Ryan had ordered. Cakes with a size that is not too large are then placed on the cot. A room in the form of a bamboo room without a partition becomes a place for both to shelter.

Ryan then opened the box and lit a candle that stood upright in the middle of the cake. "Blow up and ask for your wish." Ryan smiled as if without a burden.

"Ryan, why are you like this? What do you want to do?" Ryan just smiled, even though his heart ached doing so because he knew this was the last time together for him. After that, he would go and throw away all the memories about the girl and forget all the treatment Kania had ever had that hurt him.

"Come, blow it."

"Ryan ... " Kania looked at the young man, yet she immediately lowered her face and held back tears.

"Kania, raise your head and blow it. Let me spend time with you by looking at your smile. I'm sorry, if as long as I'm here, I've hurt you. Come on, blow it up and I promise I'll forget you and all about us. I'll let you be happy with my brother." Ryan shed tears as the words came from his lips. Although deep down, he was reluctant to forget and leave the girl, but that was the best path he had to take.

Kania lifted her face and blew the candle. Instantly Kania is surprised when Ryan suddenly kisses her forehead. "What are you doing?" Kania tries to dodge, but again she can't do anything because Ryan grabs her body in his arms.

"I love you even if you hurt me. I want to forget you, but I can't. Let me hug you one last time, after that I'll go." Ryan tightened his embrace and back Kania was touched. Looking at Ryan who expressed his feelings, Kania immediately collapsed. However, he had to brush off that feeling.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Inner Kania who was silent in the young man's embrace. In Ryan's arms, Kania cries remembering her past treatment. Despite being hurt, Ryan still loves her. Without explanation, Ryan forgave him.

Now, Kania can breathe with relief because Ryan no longer hates her. Together with the wind and the pounding waves, Kania hopes that everything will be fine again. He hoped that his heart would no longer waver with the presence of the young man even though he realized, he still harbored a sense of love, but once again he had to shake that feeling because it was no longer possible for him to get back together.
