Part 49's

Gunardi Setiawan, a handsome man with a charming face. Not only the appearance that attracts attention, but sustainability is also a consideration. How not, the man who struggled in the culinary world apparently really likes the world of cooking cooking to make him open some restaurants that now quite have a name.

The restaurant Kania works at is just one of several restaurants. Therefore, he only came occasionally to his restaurant just to see the performance of employees and also see the development of the restaurant.

Deftly, the man looked shrewdly at the kitchen table. His skill in processing kitchen spices turned out to be quite capable. In fact, he already has regular customers who always ask him to prepare a special menu made.

Kania looks busy because from this moment visitors began to arrive. Especially when before lunch, then all employees must work quickly because of the density of the visitors.

Even so, Kania tried to work well. He didn't want to make a mistake that could cost him a job. Although tired, Kania tried to blow his fatigue and serve every visitor who always asked for this.

"Kania, take this to table number 6." A girl handed him a plate of sauteed balado crab. Kania then took the plate and brought it to table number 6. Just as Kania was walking a few steps, a little boy suddenly ran over and hit him. Suddenly, the plate fell and scattered on the floor. Seeing that, all the visitors looked compactly at him.

"You got no eyes, anyway? What if that plate hit my son's head?" A woman thought to be the child's mother appeared to scold Kania. While bowing half her body, Kania apologized.

"She's okay, right?" asked Kania who was sitting squatting in front of the child who was now crying.

"Go you!! Don't touch my son!!" With the ketusnya the woman pushed Kania's body to fall backward.

"I'm sorry, Mom. I'm sorry." Kania still apologized, even though the woman continued to scold him.

While looking down, Kania picked up broken dishes and also spills of crabs that had been scattered.

"Just stand up." Kania raised her face and found Ardi who was now standing next to her. "I said get up!!" The man looked at Kania with a reddened face. Kania stood up and bowed his face.

"Thank your head." The orders of the man who was still looking towards him. With a feeling of fear, Kania raised her face and looked at the man.

"Now, you have to apologize to my employees" Ardi said, causing the woman to stare at him. Likewise with Kania who did not expect that the man was now defending him.

"Did I hear wrong? He's wrong why should I apologize?" The woman looked angry with her thin face.

"Do you want me to get you a cctv tape?" The woman's face began to change.

"It is with ease that you let go of your child and run in this room. You as a parent do not pay attention to Your child instead You are busy with Your mobile phone. As long as you know, if it wasn't for my employees trying to protect your son's head, it might have been hurt." Ardi looks angry when the woman still blames Kania.

"Already, Sir. Do not extend it again. Poor little sister who was crying and scared. I'm sorry, ma'am, I was less careful. Don't worry, let me pay for this falling food." Kania then approached the little boy and stroked his head. "You're okay, right? Forgive Brother yes, but next time do not run around like that if in the crowd, later you could have been hurt. Don't cry anymore, yeah." Kania raised a smile at the little boy to make him speechless.

Kania then cleaned the floor without caring about the views of the people who are now looking at him. Ardi then went into the kitchen, while the woman without a word then left the restaurant.

"You'd better take a break and clean that wound on your hand." A girl approached him and thrust betadine drugs at him.

"Thank you." Kania received the medicine with a smile.

"Patience, such is our fate as servants. Wrong or right, we are still to blame by visitors. Good thing Mr. Ardi can defend you, even so your name is red in his eyes." The girl then left and left Kania who was just staring at her disappearance.

Apparently, the broken plate accidentally scratched his palm. Although not severe, but enough to make him grimace in pain. After the wound was treated, Kania then returned to carry out his duties.

"Where are you going?" tanya Ardi who suddenly flashed in front of Kania.

"I'm going back to work, sir."

"It's lunch hour. You should eat first after that just work again. Hurry up, I'll just give you half an hour for lunch and rest because I have to take turns with other employees." The man then rushed to leave, but his steps came to a halt and looked back at Kania. "Next time, don't be so careless again, okay?" Kania nodded. Ardi then left.

It feels so good when Kania eats the food that is now in front of him. Moreover, what he ate was restaurant food which of course rarely eaten. "Are you that happy?" ask the girl who gave him the medicine.

Kania nodded and smiled at him. "Whatever the food is, we should be grateful."

"Your hand, it's okay, right?"

"Don't worry, it's just a small wound. You'd better eat fast because soon we'll have to work." Kania then put the last mouth into her mouth and rushed out of the room.

Just now that Kania came out, suddenly Ardi was already standing in front of him. "Follow me."

Kania followed him and entered his study. "Do you know why I called you here?"

Kania nodded. "I'll pay for the food. So, you don't have to worry."

The man laughed at Kania's words which were too confident for him. "Do you know how much food is worth? Are you going to pay by cutting your salary? If that's what you want, then what you get from the rest of your salary can only be for a week's meal, even then you can't pay your rent."

"Well if that's what you want. Now, go."

"I'm sorry, sir." Kania then left the room and walked towards the kitchen to pick up the customer's order.

Seeing Kania's attitude, Ardi smiled wryly because of Kania's courage to bear the risk when they knew that he was innocent.

After that incident, Kania began to be careful. In fact, she was seen helping a mother who had trouble eating because her son was sleeping in her cradle. "Sorry, Mom. If you don't mind, let my sister carry me and mom can continue eating." Tawar Kania and the woman agreed even though she refused because she felt that she had troublesome Kania.

Standing staring at the sea, Kania held the child and her memory was now fixed on Tania. "Are you okay now?" inner Kania who started to piqued with the face of the little girl.

Shortly after, Kania hands the boy back to his mother. "Thank you, I really appreciate Brother's help." The woman looked smiling to the point of making Kania nod her head.

"Together, Mom. If you'd like, please come back here."

"Well, I would recommend this restaurant to my friends. Thank you, yes, Brother." The woman then left with a smile because she was satisfied with the service provided by Kania.

Although he was angry with Kania's attitude, but seeing the smile of satisfaction on the woman's face made Bu Risna undo his intention.

It was late in the afternoon when Kania finished working. Although he looked tired, Kania could still smile when the little girl who had helped him was chattering in front of him. "I thought you were going to be scolded by Miss Risna because her eyes didn't stop glaring at you, but she didn't." The girl named Dina then laughed because she remembered Bu Risna's face that suddenly changed.

Kania smiled until suddenly her steps stopped. "Selly?" Kania was shocked when she saw Selly who was now standing in front of her.

"Why surprised? Come on, I'll drive you home." Kania nodded and invited Dina to come with him. After delivering Dina, they went straight to the boarding place.

"Why hands?" selly asked as she looked at Kania's injured hand.

"Oh, I got a broken plate."

"Tomorrow you will no longer have to work in that place. Just one day of your handwork is already injured like that, how about a month ahead?" Selly looked worried to make Kania smile.

"Well, it's just an ordinary wound. Don't exaggerate. I've had more serious injuries than this before, but I'm still working."

"Yes, that was before, but now it's changed. You now have me and Arya who will always help you. Kania, come on, just work at my place." Selly tries to persuade Kania, but the girl still refuses and wants to earn money from her own efforts.

That night, Selly stayed at the Kania boarding house. A bed that is only for one person is left gaping. Selly seemed uncomfortable when Kania asked him to sleep on the bed and chose to sleep on a mat with his best friend.

"Kania, don't you want to go back to Arya?" selly asked while looking at the ceiling of the room.

"I want to, but Arya doesn't want it. For Ryan's sake, he's sacrificing his feelings. Do I have to be angry with his attitude or do I have to obey him? If he'd been honest with Ryan about his feelings, I'd still be by his side, but he'd rather be hurt than Ryan's be hurt."

Both of them were still staring at the ceiling of the room, without feeling Kania shed tears. "I could have rejected Ryan, but I didn't have the heart of Arya because it was the same way I hurt her. I am confused by this fate. Arya doesn't want Ryan to get hurt and I don't want Arya to get hurt. That love turned out to be so cruel."

Kania tear her back until Selly hugs her. "Patience, I'm sure you'll be happy." Kania nodded and closed her eyes. Drowsiness suddenly approached and made him sleep in a dream that seemed faint.

When Kania is asleep, Arya is still awake. In fact, his heart is now broken. The photo that Selly had just sent to her had apparently made her heart uneasy. It felt, he wanted to run over and meet Kania who was currently injured. "Why are you still making me helpless? Why did this farewell feel so heavy when I saw you get hurt? Kania, don't torture me like this. I'm afraid that I'm gonna go and avoid you for good." The man sipped coffee, somehow for how many times. That looks on the table some coffee cups that have been empty.

As usual, Kania is ready to go to work. Together with Selly, they then glide to his workplace. And this time, he was no longer late, even he had arrived early.

Selly then left and Kania was getting ready for work. Some of the kitchen materials he had prepared on the table. All the cooking utensils were prepared. The plates are neatly arranged. The visitor's desk did not escape his attention.

After she finished, Kania rushed to get another task from Bu Risna, but her attention was distracted as the sound of the crashing waves slowly hit. For a moment, Kania stared at the beach. His eyes were fixed on the morning sunlight that looked dazzling above the sea. Some seagulls fly freely above sea level and try to find their prey.

Kania closed her eyes and regained her memory of being distracted by the figure of the man who had made her fall in love. The smell of the sea made her remember the figure of Arya smiling at her.

"What are you doing here? There, get to work!!" Kania was surprised when Ardi was already standing behind her. After apologizing, Kania then left, but Ardi still stood in that place and stared at the sea that made him still fixated.

By noon, the atmosphere in the restaurant seemed to be getting crowded. Ardi Restaurant is one of the restaurants that are quite popular. At lunchtime, many visitors come there.

Carefully and carefully, Kania brought some plates of visitors' orders. At one of the tables, Kania placed the plate of the visitor's order. "Please" said Kania with a smile and invited visitors to taste the food.

"So, now you work here? Finally, you return to your habitat as well. Didn't I tell you you don't deserve to be his wife?" Kania was surprised when he heard the words of one of the visitors to make him move from that place when he saw a woman who was staring cynically at him.
