Love Kania

The Part 53

It had been 6 months since Kania's departure, and during those 6 months, Ryan was like a disoriented person. For 6 months, his life felt like he was swaying without clarity. All sorts of ways he had done in order to find Kania, but the results had always disappointed him.

Likewise with Arya, he secretly asked his confidants to find out the whereabouts of Kania, but again failed. Kania is lost in the earth.

Kania's departure left a deep sense of regret for Arya. Whatever persistence he seeks, the harder fate will be to meet them. When she and Ryan were overwhelmed looking for Kania, somewhere Kania was smiling to see a man who was showing cooking skills in front of her.

"Today, what menu do you want to eat?" asked the man while smiling towards Kania.

"Fried rice only. This time, I made it, yes. You must be tired because you just came after a week of work at the restaurant. Once in a while, let me serve you some food. Yeah, even if it doesn't feel good about you." Smiling Kania started cooking fried rice, while the man just sat staring at Kania who in fact now looks more mature to make her aura of beauty radiate.

"Why see me like that? Be careful, do not fall in love with me because I will not want to marry you," said Kania with a smile to make the man return his smile.

"Yes, I know that. Even though 6 months have passed, you still love your ex-husband, right? Ah, lucky for her to be loved by a woman like you."

Kania just smiled looking at the man who was always there for her. Ardi, that handsome guy turned out to have a good heart. Although Kania has asked permission to leave her house, but she always refused. The reason, because he wanted Kania to take care of his house, when that was not the real reason. Slowly, with the passage of time and togetherness with Kania, makes him start to like Kania. Although his joy can only be implied through the gaze of the eyes and the attention that is disguised so as not to make Kania feel awkward to him.

"Have you thought about my offer?" asked Ardi as they were sitting at the dinner table eating fried rice made by Kania.

"I'm still thinking about it. Not that I wanted to refuse, but I was just afraid of accidentally meeting them. Besides, I'm not ready to meet them."

"Kania, how long are you going to hide here? Never mind, don't torture yourself like this. It's time you showed me that you're not the Kania you used to be. 6 months is not a little time, after all they seem to have started forgetting you."

Ardi's words suddenly made Kania look at him. "Whatchu mean? Did you secretly find out about them?" kania asked which made her curious.

"That's not hard for me. I know your ex-husband is a pretty successful young businessman. Your sister-in-law and ex-boyfriend also seems to start forgetting you. I accidentally saw her with a pretty girl and they looked familiar."

"Ah, do you want to persuade me with your words? I won't be affected." Kania doesn't believe what Ardi said to her. Back, he chewed on that fried rice.

"Well, if you don't believe me, but if I can get the evidence and show you the evidence, will you come with me and get out of here?"

Kania looked towards Ardi. At a glance, Kania could see solemnity in the eyes of the man. "Well, if it's true, I'll come with you and get out of this house" said Kania. With a smile, Ardi resumed his meal while occasionally glancing towards Kania.

Ardi's words about Ryan being close to a woman are not a figment. Ryan, slowly began to return close to Davina, because the woman had returned to live in Indonesia and work in one of the existing subsidiaries in America. Although not too close as before, but at least the presence of Davina is enough to be a friend for Ryan to share his complaints.

Davina, with an open heart began to accept back their friendship. Although only a friend, but Davina never covered her heart for Ryan because deep down, the girl still holds her love for Ryan.

"Have you forgotten about Kania?" ask Davina while they're having lunch together.

"Here you go, don't talk about him anymore. I want to forget him because he has hurt my heart." Ryan seems annoyed that Davina is starting to talk about Kania. Even so, it was not a true feeling because deep down, Kania was still unable to get out of her heart.

Davina could only smile when she saw Ryan who seemed to dislike her when she talked about Kania. "Is that true what you said? Are you really hurt because of him? Ryan, if you knew, I'd still be expecting you. I still wish we were together like before. Do I still have that chance?" the inner Davina who began to melt with the man who was now sitting in front of her.

"Come, I'll take you to your place of work." Ryan got up from his seat after they finished eating and followed Davina behind him.

"Sorry, can I talk to you guys for a second?" ask a young man who looks handsome and elegant. Ryan and Davina stopped their steps. "Looks, you guys are a very compatible couple. Since you are our loyal customers, I as the owner of this restaurant want to give you a free meal voucher, but can I take a photo of you so I can display on the walls of this restaurant?" asked the handsome man while handing them a sheet of voucher.

"So, that guy is Kania's sister-in-law and ex-boyfriend? The man is quite handsome, but why should Kania shy away from that handsome man?" rishna asked the man.

"The problem isn't just that, brother." The man exhaled his breath violently.

"Ardi, don't tell me you're starting to like Kania. That's not true, is it?"

"Already, Brother. I knew she was a widow, but she got married to help her ex-husband because he had helped her mother's treatment, but in fact the man was her sister-in-law who was also her ex-boyfriend. Sister knows, her ex-husband deliberately let go of Kania because they do not want to disappoint his sister, even though they both have promised to continue the marriage because they began to love each other. Then, can Kania love me if her love is still stored for her ex-husband?" Ardi's explanation makes Risna look at his sister who is in fact trying to hide her feelings.

"Ardi, if you love her, tell her quickly. Do you want your heart to be hurt again like it used to be? Brother will not forbid you to love any girl, as long as he can make you happy, then Brother will also support you." Risna gently patted her sister's shoulder and left her.

"Can I make him love me while he only thinks of me as a friend? Ah, if she knew that I loved her, would she still want to be close to me?" Ardi was so tormented by his own feelings. A feeling of love that somehow arises from when because he himself does not know.

In her study, Arya is seen sitting while looking at a photo of Kania on her phone. The smile on the pretty face of the girl could not be wiped away just like that. Although Kania has been away for half a year, but in fact he cannot just forget about Kania. "Kania, are you still mad at me? If you are angry, come and anger me, I will definitely accept your anger with my love. I beg you, forgive me." Arya was seen wiping away her tears. All his memories with Kania are now back. The vows and promises that were once spoken, are now lost and destroyed because of his selfishness.

"Are you sorry now?" Selly walked into her room and saw Arya tear up. The man slowly wiped away his tears.

"Have you not heard of Kania's whereabouts?" ask Selly who is now sitting in front of his best friend.

"No, it seems like he really wants to make me forget about it, but I can't. I can't forget him even if he's left me."

"Oh, don't regret it. I'll help you find him. I'm sure Kania is still in the country. Besides, I know he loves you very much. Arya, if Kania comes back to you, don't ever let her go. Don't repeat your past mistakes and put your happiness aside for Ryan's sake, no matter what, keep him, understand!!"

Arya nodded and agreed to the words of her best friend. Without them noticing, Ryan was standing behind the door and listening to their conversation. Without feeling it, her tears fell. "So, is this all because of me?" ryan's mind as he left that place.

With his motorcycle, Ryan went to a place where he could cry. In a hut without a bulkhead, Ryan sat while staring at the open ocean. It was the place where he and Kania once celebrated Kania's birthday. In the past, it was a place they frequented.

"Ryan, what's wrong? What the hell's going on? Why are you crying like that?" ask Davina who just came. In a panic, Davina approached the man and hugged him. "Ryan, what's wrong? Come on, don't make me anxious." Davina stroked the man's back gently.

"I am very sinful. I've made my brother hurt. I was so selfish I couldn't see that my brother loved him. In fact, I was proud to snatch Kania from my sister. Davina, I ... " Ryan cried again to make Davina join the tears.

"Ryan, calm yourself. Don't be like this, calm down, then tell me."

Ryan wiped away his tears and his gaze was now straight ahead, staring at the expanse of the high seas. "Sister Arya and Kania were originally only married contracts because sister did not want to disappoint dad. At first, I didn't know that and I decided to come here. I mean my arrival wants to make Kania leave Arya because I'm afraid she'll let my sister down just like she let me down. But when I found out the reason behind our breakup, I felt so guilty that I didn't realize I was falling in love with her again. Because I wanted to forget it, I decided to return to America, but I accidentally knew that they were just married contracts. Therefore, I paused my return to America and severed our relationship. My sister didn't even know that we used to love each other, until one day Arya found out and finally decided to end her contract marriage with Kania. Davina, all this time I was too selfish to realize that Arya and Kania sisters love each other. Because of me, Arya's sister released Kania and finally Kania left us both. Ah, I'm so stupid!!" Ryan hit his seat with his fist. The pain will not be enough compared to the pain now felt by Arya and Kania to make Ryan continue to hit the seat.

"Ryan, stop. Even if you cry and hurt yourself, you will not be able to bring things back. Relax and focus so you can get them together again. Ryan, I'll help you. We'll both find Kania and bring them together again. I promise I'll help you, I promise." Davina clasped Ryan's hand. Looking at her, Ryan smiled and hugged the girl.

"Thank you, and I'm sorry for hurting you. I'm sorry."

Davina nodded and hugged Ryan's body tightly. Hearing Ryan's apology, Davina cried. "I've forgiven you. Don't cry anymore and instead, we focus on looking for Kania and hopefully she hasn't forgotten about Arya's sister." Ryan nodded.

For a moment, Ryan looked at the face of Davina who was now smiling at him. Suddenly, guilt seeped into his heart for ever disappointing the girl. "Davina, I'm sorry. I know you still love me and I promise, I will love you just as much as I used to. Wait until we find Kania, after that, we'll get back together, too" Ryan's inner self, who now embraces Davina.
