The Part 28

Seeing Ryan standing in front of the door made Kania want to close the door again, but Arya slowly walked over to him because she saw Ryan who was already standing in front of the door.

"Ryan's? What the hell are you here for? Do you need anything?" arya asked innocently. While Kania was still standing glued between the two youths.

"Sorry, brother, if I disturb Brother. Actually, I want to talk to Brother. There's something I need to talk about." Ryan looked serious and made Kania look at him.

"Sister-in-law, I'll borrow Arya's sister for a minute, okay?" asked the young man with his pampered face.

Kania nodded and chose to go back into the room.

"Wait for Brother in the living room, after changing clothes, Brother will see you." The young man then went to the living room, while Arya went to the bathroom and changed clothes there.

"Sleep, you must be tired, but don't sleep on the couch, sleep in my bed, okay?" Arya then exits the room, but before that she turns off the lights and turns on the small lights on the table.

On the bed, Kania sat leaning back. Her heart was so agitated considering Ryan's gaze on her. Hearing Ryan's words, Kania becomes worried because she is afraid that Ryan will tell Arya their past.

While Kania was so anxious that it made her unable to sleep, in the living room the sisters looked familiar with the smiles and jokes engraved on their faces.

"Sister Arya is very lucky to have a wife like a sister-in-law. Ah, I'm jealous." Ryan said with a smile, but it was not a sincere smile.

"Then start getting serious with your girlfriend. When are you going to introduce her to Brother? Haven't you guys been in touch for a year?"

Ryan smiled wryly as he sipped the coffee that had accompanied him. "I don't want to get married quickly. We've been in a relationship for a year, but I don't want to be serious."

"Why? Is it because of that girl?"

Ryan lifted his face and looked at the older brother. He remembered back in the past. Where she was so enthusiastic about telling her relationship with Kania to her brother. In fact, she had already prepared a dress for Kania to wear at her brother's wedding. However, everything ran aground to make his heart hurt.

And now, the woman he used to be so proud of her brother had become his own sister-in-law. Her sister had married a woman who made her happy and also hurt.

"Is that why my sister married him?" Arya nodded with a smile.

"Then, does Brother know about himself, his family or anything about brother-in-law?"

The door of the room suddenly opened. Kania is seen walking towards them and standing in front of Arya. "Sorry, I forgot to make you some warm milk. Wait a minute, I'll make it for you." Kania rushed to the kitchen. Seeing her behavior, Arya smiled and made Ryan feel jealous. He felt something else in his heart.

Before long, Kania came with a glass of warm milk in her hand. "Drink and go to sleep." Kania put the glass on the table.

"You better finish your conversation. It's late at night, it's time to go to sleep." Kania then went into the room and did not care about the brothers' gaze on her.

Arya then sipped the warm milk until it ran out. "Sleep, Brother come in first. We'll continue this conversation tomorrow." Arya then got up and walked towards her room. While Ryan was still sitting with a feeling of jealousy that tormented his mind.

Kania lay on the sofa with a blanket covering her body. Seeing him, Arya immediately approached him. "Wake up and stay in bed. Let me sleep here."

"no need. Sana, sleep in your bed. I'm doing fine. Didn't I tell you you need enough rest because you have to work. Come on, go to bed." Kania then turned her body facing the back of the sofa. Seeing Kania who is reluctant to comply with her request makes Arya immediately reach for the girl's body. With both hands, Arya carried Kania's body and carried her to the bed.

"Arya, what are you doing? Quickly put me down." Kania was so shocked as the man grabbed her body into his carrying.

"Be quiet. For me, you'd rather sleep in this bed because you need a good place to rest in order to take care of my daughter later." Kania speechless. Seeing Arya's face so close in front of her eyes made Kania lower her gaze. The man's face was so handsome as his face was illuminated by the dim light of the small lamp in the room. Gently, Arya placed Kania's body on the bed and immediately covered her body with a blanket. "Sleep, I don't want you to get tired." Arya then walked towards the sofa and immediately lay there.

Silent kania a thousand languages. His eyes could no longer be closed. She insisted on going to sleep, but she could not close her eyes. Arya felt the same way. He could not sleep until he was agitated. I don't know how many times he's turned his body around. Kania realized that and immediately got up and walked towards him. "Can't you sleep?" asked Kania suddenly to make Arya immediately sit down.

"Can't you sleep either?" Kania nodded and sat down beside the man.

"I know we're both reluctant, but can't we just be normal? I don't want the awkwardness between us to make us uneasy because I can't. I want us to behave like friends. If you have a problem, you can tell me and I will too. In front of everyone, I'll behave like a wife to you, but if we're in this room, I'll act like your friend. So, can I be your friend?" Kania looked at the face of the man who had just heard his chatter to make him smile.

"Alright, in this room we as friends. Well then, can this friend of mine go to sleep immediately because I'm already sleepy."

"No, I wouldn't sleep there if you were still sleeping here." Kania lifted her legs and bent them.

"So, you want to accompany me to sleep on this sofa?" All right, I don't mind." Arya then did the same. Looking at Kania who was propping her head above her knees, the man smiled as the girl's eyes slowly started to shut.

Because of his heartlessness, Arya then lifted the girl's body and took her to bed. After covering her body with a blanket, Arya headed back to the sofa and lay there with a smile emanating from the corner of her lips. "I'll be your friend. For now, we'll be friends and I hope we'll be friends forever." Arya then closed her eyes and before long, the man was already lulled in the dreamland.

As they slept, Ryan looked uneasy in his room. I don't know what he's feeling now. At the time of hatred in his heart, at that time also the love that once existed began to disturb his heart. On the one hand, she hated Kania so much, but on the other hand she could not be cruel to him. "What happened to me? Why can't I forget him?" Ryan covered his face with a pillow and hoped that the shadow of Kania's face could disappear from his mind, but useless because the beautiful face was reluctant for him to throw.

The sound of rain slowly sounded when the sun had not yet revealed its light. That morning, rain fell on the earth. The sound of rain slowly rang out in Kania's ears, as a sudden chill blew from behind the window curtain.

Kania slowly opened her eyes while trying to sit leaning on the back of her bed. The phone on the table then reached him. "It's 5 o'clock." Kania put her phone back down and rushed down from her bed. Her unraveled hair was then tied up originally.

Kania then walked to the sofa and saw Arya who was fast asleep. The falling blanket was then lifted up and covered the man's body. Seeing him fall asleep, Kania smiled.

After cleaning her face, Kania rushed towards the kitchen. Although there is Surti, Bi Suri's nephew who has worked in the house, but Kania still do activities in the kitchen just to help them.

"Mrs, let us prepare breakfast. If Madam were here and seen with Mr. Arya and Mr. Wicaksana, we would both be scolded." Bi Suri looks worried if her employer is angry at seeing Kania in the kitchen.

"Yes, already. Then, I'll go to Tania's room first. Surti, for Mr. Arya, make warm honey water like I taught you."

"Okay, Madam." The young lady nodded.

Kania rushes to Tania's room, but her steps are stopped when Ryan suddenly stands in front of her. "Are you happy?" ryan asked with his tired face. Since last night, he had not closed his eyes.

"Go away, don't bother me anymore." Kania tried not to care and continued her steps, but the young man immediately grabbed her wrist and looked at her with a hateful look.

"Why should you marry my sister? Are you intentionally hurting me? Are you not satisfied breaking my heart?" Ryan looked at Kania with tears slowly falling down. "I hate you, I hate you so much. I want to forget you, but why do you have to be present in the middle of my family?"

"Ryan, let go of my hand!!" Kania threw out the hand of the young man who had previously blocked his wrist. "I'm sorry for my past mistakes and I beg you not to bother me anymore because I'm already your sister's wife. Better, do it politely for me." Kania then turns around and leaves Ryan who can only look at her with a cry.

Inside the room, Kania cried as she recalled the incident earlier. Seeing Ryan shed tears, making Kania unable to bear it. He realized, his decision in the past turned out to be so painful for the young man. He did not expect, Ryan still kept the pain that was deliberately incised by him. "I'm sorry. I can't believe what I did in the past hurt you so much. I'm sorry." Kania cried and leaned her body on the door leaf. It felt, his heart was so sick seeing the young man crying in front of him.

Kania slowly wiped away her tears as her daughter woke up and stared at her. "Why are you crying?"

"Mama didn't cry, but Mama's eyes hurt from the dust" Kania told a lie while trying to smile in front of her daughter.

"Come, now Tania's taking a bath, after that we have breakfast." The little girl nodded and went to the bathroom.

After all the selelsai, the mother and child came out of the room and rushed towards the dining table for breakfast.

Looking at Tania, Wicaksana smiled and took the granddaughter sitting nearby. "Here, sit down by Grandpa." The little girl nodded and walked towards her grandfather.

"Do you like the decor of your room?" asked Wicaksana while scooping the fried rice onto her plate.

"Likes, Dad. Thank you, my husband and I really like it." Hearing Kania's reply, Wicaksana smiled, but not for Ryan who seemed to be clenching his hands.

"Thank God, I hope you can give me another grandchild soon."

Kania just smiled as she nodded slowly. I don't know what that smile means. Likewise with Arya, who did the same thing, smiled and nodded in front of her father.

Ryan, meanwhile, could only hear rants that hurt him. It seemed, she was already tired of seeing the affection of Kania and her brother. Not to mention his father's request which to him was so sickening.

"Dad, next week I'm going back to America." Ryan said suddenly, making them all look at him.
