Part 17's

Selly continued to follow Kania into the room and sat on the bed. "Hurge up, I want to take you and Tania to the mall."

Kania looked at him, as was Tania. "Tania doesn't want to go to the mall. Tania doesn't like the mall." Tania chooses to play with her toys and ignores Selly's invitation.

"Kania, help me persuade her. I just want you to accompany me, because I haven't been to the mall in a long time. I promise, we're done shopping right home." Selly seemed to whisper to Kania and hoped that the girl would accompany her.

"Yes, I'll persuade him." Selly smiled.

"Then I'll wait for you outside, okay?" Selly then went out and waited for them in the living room.

Shortly after, Kania comes out with Tania who already looks adorable. Her cute face made Selly want to hug her, but back the little girl refused. Suddenly, Selly's face looked sad. "Come on, we'll go" said Selly, who walked to the courtyard.

In front of the courtyard, there was a black luxury car that had just arrived. "Come, come in."

Kania came in and sat in the back with Tania. While Selly, sitting in front next to his driver. "We're going to the mall, yes, sir."

"Good, Mom."

The man who looked not young anymore then turned the direction and drove towards the mall. Shortly after, they arrived at the door of the mall. After parking the car, the three of them went out and entered the mall area which is quite large.

The atmosphere of the mall and the crowd of the place can now be felt again by Kania. The place he always visited every morning to work apparently still remains the same. Holding Tania, Kania follows Selly who continues to walk towards the corridor she always passes while she works first.

"We'll buy cosmetics first, then we'll buy clothes."

Kania nodded and continued to follow Selly until they arrived at the sizable cosmetics store.

"Cania?" Kania smiled at Eva who was shocked when she saw him.

"How are you, brother?" asked Kania while looking at Eva's slightly enlarged stomach.

"I'm good. You're good too, right?" Eva seemed to understand crying, but seeing Kania who was fine made Eva immediately wipe her tears that had not had time to fall.

"Tania is pretty here too? Ih, the worry." Eva looks anxious when she sees Tania in Kania's sling.

"Eh-hem." Selly who felt ignored intentionally cleared her throat to make Eva surprised.

"Sorry, Miss Selly. I was just surprised to see Kania."

"Oh, so you know each other?" ask Selly who is a little confused.

"Yes. Kania used to work here, but was fired by Miss Riska."

"Oh, so so. Fired for what?"

Eva replied, Miss Riska was seen coming to them. "Mom Selly? Ah, long time no see. Is there anything I can help you with?" Ms. Riska was smiling, but her smile faded when she saw Kania standing next to Selly. "Cania?" the woman's mind.

"Kania, since you've worked here, so I asked for your recommendation to choose a cosmetic product that you think is suitable for me. It doesn't matter, does it, Mom?"

"Oh, go ahead, I don't mind. Come on, please take a look." Miss Riska invited them to take a look. While carrying Tania, Kania unhesitatingly walked towards one of the beauty products and chose according to the skin color and Selly skin type.

"I think this brand suits you." Kania points to a fairly well-known brand.

Selly smiled because Kania's choice was right for her. "Well, I'll buy it."

Eva took the cosmetics and put them in a basket.

"Kania, as my gift because you have chosen cosmetics for me, you can choose the cosmetics you like."

"No need, I don't need cosmetics."

"Take it, I'm sure someday you'll need it. Eva, pick a cosmetic that's suitable for Kania."

"Okay, Miss Selly."

Apparently, Selly is not the new guy at the cosmetics store. She was a regular customer because she often bought her cosmetics at that store.

Kania then goes out and waits in front of the store, while Selly stands in front of Eva to make the payment. "If I may know, why would Kania get fired?" selly asked, looking curious.

Hearing Selly's question, Eva seemed to look around. "That's because Mr. Reno slandered Kania. He accused Kania of always teasing him to make Miss Riska angry and fired him. Even so, we all know that it is not true, because Mr. Reno himself often teases Kania. Although Ms. Riska has apologized, but Kania no longer wants to work here," explained Eva who made Selly glance at Kania.

"Ah, but that's okay. At least he's got a better job now. Kania is a very nice girl. The man who will get it one day, will definitely be very happy." Eva looks so proud of her best friend. Selly just smiled as she received the cosmetic parcel she had paid for.

After she finished shopping, Kania paid a farewell to Eva. They then hugged. "I hope your life is always happy."

Kania nodded. "Sister Eva too. Take care of Eva's health and call me if at birth later. I want to hold my niece."

Eva nodded. After saying goodbye, they then headed to the other store. In front of a fashion store that had enough names, Selly stopped. "Help me choose clothes that suit me. Clothes I can wear at parties or meetings for business." Selly asks Kania to pick a dress for her. Kania just nodded and began to choose clothes that felt fit and fit in Selly's body.

"All the clothes here suit you. Your skin is white and your body is also very slim. I think these clothes might suit you." Kania brought several pieces of clothes and Selly was quite surprised to see Kania's fashion sense which turned out to be quite fashionable and in accordance with the times.

"Sir, these clothes are please wrapped. I'll take everything."

"Hey, try it first. If it doesn't fit in your body or you don't like it later, how? You can't trade it." Kania looked anxious because the clothes she chose were not tried by Selly to make her worry.

"Don't worry, all the clothes must fit in my body and I also like all the clothes you choose. Now, you just pick a dress for you."

"No, I still have clothes, really."

"Hurry, I wait. If you don't want to choose, I'll choose it for you." Selly orders while sitting on a chair and does not care about Kania's refusal.

Selly sat while watching Kania who was temporarily picking and her gaze suddenly fell on a woman who had just walked into the store.

The woman was surprised when she saw Selly who had just looked at her. "Selly?" The woman looked panicked.

"Why surprised?" Sally got up and walked over to him. "How are you? Are you still chasing Arya?" ask Selly with a serious face.

"It's none of your business." The woman who was none other than Rina tried to avoid Selly, but when she saw Kania who was also in that place made her undo her intentions. Rina haughtily approached Kania and tried to take Tania from her carrier. "Here, give Tania to me." Rina tries to take Tania, but the little girl refuses.

"Oh, apparently you approached Arya to get money and shop here? Heh, you know how much a shirt costs here, huh? Even if your salary is a year, it's not enough to buy one shirt here. And, why did you bring Tania here? Do you have the money to pay for the clothes in your hands?"

Kania did not care for her and walked towards Selly and handed the clothes to her. Rina who saw Kania close to Selly was quite surprised.

"Why? Do you want me to buy you a shirt too? There, just choose later I will pay for it," Selly said with a cynical smile.

Lina looks exasperated with Selly's attitude towards her. Especially when he saw Kania who was bought by him, making Rina become envious.

Long ago, Rina and Selly were best friends. Rina's economic life can be said to be mediocre. While Selly, is the son of a rich man who always buy anything for him. Until one day, Selly finds out that her lover betrayed her and has an affair with Rina behind her. From then on, Selly broke off their friendship. However, Selly finds a new best friend who is Rina's twin sister, Rani. And their friendship continues until Rani gets married. In fact, Selly was also good friends with Rani's lover at that time, namely Arya, until now.

"Here, let me help you carry it." Kania wants to grab some bags, but Selly dodges.

"Let me, you're holding Tania anyway."

"It's okay, I'm still capable, really. Here give me half the bag."

"No need." Selly was still evasive, but slowly she started to feel both hands tired and sore to make him put the bags on the floor.

Kania smiled and stood beside her, to the point that Kania was shocked when she heard someone call her name, "Kania." Suddenly, Kania turned her face away and saw a figure who called out to her.

"Bastian?" The man ran slowly and stood in front of Kania with his charming smile.

"What are you two doing here? Where's Arya?" bastian asked while looking around.

"Kania didn't come with Arya, but with me." Bastian turned his face towards Selly and found a beautiful woman with a slightly pouting face.

"Why? Have you ever seen a beautiful woman like me? Here, help me get my groceries." Selly then left them with a grocery bag still lying on the floor.

"Who is the girl? Just play the orders, what do you think I'm the maid?" Bastian looks upset, but all the bags are then lifted.

"Sorry, he's Arya's best friend. He invited me to go shopping with him. Don't worry, she's a good woman, really."

"What okay? Just got to know him already playing orders. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have obeyed his orders." Bastian still looks upset, but not for long. "Hey, are you okay?"

"He-it." Kania nodded.

"Really?"

"Yes, I'm fine."

"You're not crying anymore, are you?" Kania speechless. I don't know what to explain to his best friend.

"Cania?" bastian asked which made Kania smile wryly.

"Yes, I'm crying, but a little."

Bastian stopped his steps and looked at Kania. "Are you still sad?"

Kania smiled. "Not anymore, because I'm sure my mom's there all right and I don't want my mom to be sad about seeing her daughter unhappy." Kania's reply suddenly made Bastian smile and continue his steps.

"I salute you, Kania. That's my best friend." Bastian smiled, but his smile faded when he saw Selly looking at him with a killer look.

"Why long? I've been waiting for you guys since. You know, I'd hate to be told to wait. There, put all his shopping bags in the trunk." Selly's orders upset Bastian even more.

"This woman, thankfully beautiful, otherwise I would have stuffed her mouth with a sink plug," Bastian said, putting all the shopping bags in the trunk.

"Bas, thank you, yeah. Sorry, don't take heart. I'll play at your house sometime. Greetings to your mother, yes."

"He-em. I don't take heart, I just want to keep his mouth shut, let him shut up." Bastian smiled and made Kania smile.

"Well, I'm back, yeah." Bastian nodded as he opened the car door for Kania. The car then left, while Bastian was still staring at the car until it disappeared at the end of the road.

Selly who had seen the shadow of Bastian's face from the rearview mirror apparently looks smiling. The pretty face that looked annoying was apparently not really angry, because it was all just a pretense. "May also be a guy. Is she Kania's boyfriend? They both look so close?" Selly was so curious that she finally decided to ask Kania.
