The Part 54

With a shunt move, Ryan entered the courtyard of the house. It felt, he could not afford to look at the older brother who had to be injured because of him. Withstanding the regret within the chest, the man walked in slowly and found Arya sitting in the living room.

"Ryan, where have you been? Why is it that midnight you just got home?" arya asked as she walked towards him.

"Why hasn't my sister slept? Did your insomnia recur again?" ryan asked, throwing his body on the couch.

"Sister's question answer first, where did you come from at this time?" Arya sat down next to her sister and stared intently at her.

During this time, Ryan never came home late at night, but that night, Ryan came home almost 1 pm to make Arya worry about him.

"I'm just saturated, Brother. I need some entertainment too."

"Are you going to the nightclub?" Arya's question made Ryan smile.

"No, Brother. I just sat in the cafe with Davina. Did you know that Davina and I are dating again?"

Arya looked at Ryan just looking for the truth behind his words. "Have you forgotten Kania? Don't you want to find her again until you get back to Davina?"

"What am I looking for, brother. He who has left me, even as hard as I have searched, he is difficult for me to meet. Then, why should I survive if it only makes me hurt. Besides, Davina still loves me, sister."

Arya looked at her sister with a look of disappointment. He did not expect, it was easy that Ryan forgot about Kania and returned to Davina.

"Sister, why is Brother daydreaming? What did I say that was wrong?"

"Did you love her no more? Don't you love her so much?" arya asked with her face that looked cute. Ryan looked at Arya's face and he could see there was a hint of disappointment on her brother's face.

"Are you disappointed when you say that I don't love you anymore? Big Brother, can't Big Brother be frank with me about Big Brother's feelings?" ryan slowly held back his tears.

"Not anymore, brother. Why would I keep my love if it turns out that he himself is showing me off. Ah, stop, brother. I don't want to think about Kania anymore. Maybe he left because he didn't love me, but maybe he loved someone else."

"No way!! Kania loves you so much, Brother knows that. Don't you two love each other?"

"If he loves me, he'll stay by my side and won't leave me. But what happened? He left without saying anything and that means he doesn't love me at all. I was just a burden to him, even I was a barrier to his love. Don't you think she actually loves someone else?" Ryan looked at Arya who was now bowing her face. Without feeling it, the man's tears fell to the point of making Ryan smile behind the cries he was trying to endure.

"If she loves someone else, why didn't she just tell me? I also couldn't possibly hold it back because I didn't want to love a woman who loved someone else. Why is he so happy and lying to me? Ah, it turns out Kania is not as good as I imagined. She's just a woman who likes to play with people's feelings."

"Enough, Ryan!! Don't continue that!!" Arya looks angry when Ryan starts talking bad things about Kania and it makes Ryan smile thinly.

"Why should Big Brother be angry, isn't that the reality? Come, Brother. Didn't you feel sorry for me because Kania lied to me? What I'm saying is true, isn't it, brother? Kania is nothing more than a lying woman!!" Ryan's words sounded firm to make Arya clench both hands.

"Ryan, Brother said stop!! Don't you say Kania like that anymore. You don't know anything about him. So, Brother please, don't say anything bad about her anymore. He has suffered too much and do not make things worse with your words. Kania isn't that kind of woman." Arya was so hurt when she heard Ryan speak ill of Kania. It felt, his ears were hot when he heard bad things about the woman he still loved.

"Why did you defend him? Shouldn't you defend me? Come, Brother. Kania is not worth defending. Even if I find her, I will no longer care about her because she does not deserve my love. Kania is a hypocritical girl and she ... " Ryan stopped her speech because Arya suddenly slapped him. Instantly, Ryan smiled and realized that his brother really loved Kania.

"I'm sorry, Brother Ryan. Forgive Brother." Arya approached Ryan and stroked his sister's cheek that he had just slapped. "Ryan, I'm sorry Brother. Brother didn't mean to slap you. Sister only ... "

"No, Brother. Brother has the right to slap me and even beat me. I've been so outrageous to Brother. I know what it's like to be left behind by the woman I love, but I also know what it's like to see the woman I love turn out to love someone else. Brother, slap me and wake me up, because of myself Brother must release the woman that Brother loves. Why should Big Brother lie to Big Brother's feelings just because of me? "Ryan, I'm sorry Brother. Big Brother didn't mean to lie to you because Big Brother knows you love Kania so much. Brother is willing to let go of Big Brother's happiness for your sake because you are my only family. Brother loves you more than you do Brother and Sister has promised father to make you happy and Brother knows your happiness is Kania. So, how could Big Brother take away your happiness?" Arya hugged her sister and cried. Likewise with Ryan who now hugs Arya tightly. Both brothers are crying now.

"I'm sorry Brother loves him. Brother loves him very much even though Brother knows he also loves Brother, but because of Brother's selfishness, Brother is forced to give up his love and make him hurt. Perhaps, this was a punishment for Big Brother for already making him disappointed. Now, Brother has resigned because in fact he no longer wants to meet with Brother."

"No, Brother. Don't surrender. I'm sure, somewhere, Kania must be waiting for Big Brother to look for her. He loves Brother and Sister also loves him and that is enough to unite your love. I will make amends to Brother and Kania. I'll try to find him, I promise you." Ryan looked so earnest that he made Arya look at him with a smile.

"Thank you, Ryan. You are the most beloved sister. Thank you, because you have to get hurt because of this brother of yours."

"Don't talk like that, brother. For the sake of Brother, I will do anything. Do you think I would be happy if I knew that Brother and Kania love each other and give up for me? For God's sake, Brother. Don't make me regret it all my life. I've taken Brother as my father's replacement, so don't make me bear the regret that could have made me die."

Back, the brothers hugged each other and let go of all the turmoil and regret for the fate they experienced. And now, they will change the course of fate and find delayed happiness again.

While far away, Kania looked awake. For some reason, her eyes were still staring at a photo that Ardi had just sent her. A photo that should make him keep his promise to the man.

Kania then lay down while hugging the bolster pillow that became where she poured out her grief. Kania cried to make the pillow roll wet with her tears and slowly her eyes could not withstand the fatigue that had forced her to cry. With a sobbing still remaining, Kania was closed and made her fall asleep in grief.

By morning, Kania woke up and rushed to clean up the house. Not only that, he also had to take care of his clothes and fill them in the suitcase because Ardi would soon come to pick him up.

When the sun began to rise, Kania was already sitting in front of the terrace of the house with a suitcase that had been lying next to her. While staring at the expanse of the sea, Kania tried to organize her heart because she had to return and accept the fate of her path. For some reason, there was a sense of reluctance that troubled his heart as if he was not ready to return.

A car was seen entering the yard. Seeing the arrival of the car, Kania got up while lifting her suitcase and walked up to Ardi who came out of the car. "Let me take it." Kania smiles as Ardi offers to carry her suitcase. "Kania, are you ready?" ardi asked as he opened the car door for her.

"I'm ready" said Kania, who seemed convinced by his decision, but who would have thought that was not the real answer.

"All right, then. Come on, let's go and live your new life." Ardi smiled as he turned on his car engine and slowly left the courtyard of the house.

After taking almost an hour of travel, they finally arrived in front of a restaurant. Seeing their arrival, Risna immediately approached and hugged Kania. "How are you doing?" asked Risna who was getting familiar with Kania.

"Alhamdulillah, I am well, Brother." Kania smiled at the woman while letting go of her embrace.

"Come, we're in and today you can occupy this restaurant."

"Thank you, Brother."

"Why thank you, isn't this restaurant now yours?"

Kania smiled again and stepped inside the restaurant. Looking at him, some of the employees looked surprised even staring sinisterly at him. While Dina, walked up to Kania and smiled at her. "I'm glad that you'll be working here again" said the girl as she grabbed Kania's hand.

"I'm also happy to see you again." Kania hugged the girl.

"Dina, gather all the employees immediately. We'll wait in the meeting room." The girl nodded and carried out her boss's orders.

"Come, I'll take you to your room." Kania walks after Ardi and Risna who are walking in front of him until they arrive at a renovated room. "This is your private room. Since you don't have a home yet, I purposely created this room for you. For a while, you occupied this room first."

Kania looked around and liked the room very much. From behind the window, he could see the expanse of the open sea with the breeze of the wind blowing and entering the room.

"How, what do you like?" asked Ardi who was now standing beside him.

"I like it so much, I like it so much. Thank you, Ardi." Kania smiled in front of the man. For a moment, Ardi was so enamored with a smile that had already made him retain his taste. The taste that will either be stored until when. A feeling he doesn't have easy to say.

"All right, now we go meet all your employees. They must have been waiting" Risna said as she left the room. Seeing Ardi's attitude towards Kania, Risna finds out that her sister has fallen in love with Kania.

In the meeting room, all the employees were waiting. They are seen whispering while talking about Kania who looks close to their boss. Until the whispers were slowly inaudible as Kania, Ardi, and Risna entered the room.

Ardi looked at the employees one by one and he knew that all the employees were still staring cynically at Kania. "Why? Is there something wrong with us?" ask Ardi to open the word.

"No, Sir." They answered in unison.

"You must be wondering because you saw Kania coming with me. So, just get to the point. From today on, Kania will be your boss."

All the employees looked at each other, as if they did not believe the words of their boss. Seeing their reaction, Ardi smiled. "Kania bought this restaurant from me 3 months ago. So, for the last 3 months your salary was paid by Kania. Me and Miss Risna just helped her. You might think that Kania is trying to get close to me or even seduce me. Aye, right? If you think like that, it's not wrong because we are close, but only friends. This restaurant I sell because I have opened branches in other areas and just to help my best friend. If you ask where Kania has the money to buy this restaurant, then you must know more about Kania who is a widow of a young businessman who is quite rich. So, is there anything you want to ask?" The mood became quiet. No more whispers heard.

"If there are no questions, you can disperse. And remember, if you still want to work here then respect Kania and there are no rumors that make you could have been fired, understand!"

"Understand me, sir." All the employees eventually disbanded and returned to work. Although surprised by Ardi's assessment, they still do not think that their current boss is a woman who has been the fruit of their lips.

"Kania, don't worry about them. I already have a few candidates who can help you through this restaurant, but I don't want to make my own decisions because you have to agree. Once all is done, I'll go back to my new restaurant and leave you here. However, before I leave, I will help you until you are able."

Kania nodded and smiled at the man. Once again, Ardi helped Kania selflessly. All that he did was because Kania reminded him of a woman who had worked hard raising him and also his brother. Despite losing her husband, she remains a strong mother. Mother who still loves them even though they are both not her biological children.
