Love Kania

Love Kania
The Part 40

Hearing how they entered the hospital, Rani's parents came to visit. The elderly couple entered the room where Wicaksana was being treated. Looking at Kania, the wife's face looked cynical.

"I'm sorry, if we just came to visit because we just got back from out of town. Son of Arya, I congratulate you on your marriage. I hope you're always happy." The middle-aged man looked wiser than his wife who looked less like it when she saw Kania. Even so, Kania still respectfully greeted them.

"I hope you can be a good mother to our grandchildren. Love her like your own daughter."

Kania nodded. "Yes sir, I will love Tania like my own daughter."

After a short conversation with Wicaksana, the couple resigned. "Son Arya, can I have a quick chat with your wife?"

Arya looked at Kania who was also looking towards her. Kania nodded hinting that she was willing to fulfill the man's request. "Can, Dad."

The man smiled and walked out of the room. Beside her, Kania walked up and followed her until she arrived at the hospital cafeteria. "I'm sorry if I brought you here. There are some things I want to tell you. Look, I know you are now the wife of my daughter-in-law and I am quite happy because Nak Arya was able to get married and find a good woman to be a wife and mother to Tania. He was only a son-in-law, but I loved him like my own son. Nak Kania, please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please happy with my daughter-in-law and also my grandchild. Tania is our only granddaughter and as her grandparents, we want to see her happy." The man was seen shedding tears at the thought of his daughter.

"I promise to love and make Tania happy. He is not my flesh, but I love him. Father and Mother don't worry because I'll take care of her." Kania looks sincere because that's how she feels. She loves Tania unconditionally.

"Thank God. Then I say goodbye and do not be offended by my wife's attitude. He just can't accept the fact that Nak Arya is married again."

"It's okay, I understand the attitude of your wife. I beg for guidance if I make a mistake."

The man smiled looking at Kania's attitude which to him was very polite and friendly. Not only that, the middle-aged man was enough to acknowledge the courage of Kania who did not refuse when invited to talk.

After their departure, Kania decides to return, but suddenly his hand is reached by someone. "Why are you here?"

Seeing him, Kania was shocked and wanted to release his hand from the person's grasp. "Ryan, take your hand off. It's not good to see people."

"Why? What's not good, don't I just hold the hand of the woman I love?"

Kania tried to dodge Ryan's hand, but the young man did not budge. Even with a smile, Ryan pulled his hand and walked towards the stairs that were used when the elevator was being repaired.

"Why is this way? Why don't we just take the elevator?" Kania stops her steps, but Ryan returns a smile at her.

"Because I want to walk alone with you. I want to be with you."

"Ryan, you're not kidding me, are you? Realize, I'm not the old Kania anymore. I'm now your brother-in-law, not your lover." Kania was still trying to let go of her hand, but Ryan still remained unmoved. By climbing the stairs, Ryan walked while holding the hand of Kania who was reluctant for him to let go.

"I know that, but I still want to be in touch with you because I still love you. I don't care if you're my brother's wife now because I know, your marriage is just a contract marriage and that means you're marrying without love, right?"

Kania was surprised to hear the young man's words and made him stop his steps. "What do you mean?"

Ryan looked at Kania who was now standing looking at him. Suddenly, his hand touched Kania's face. Seeing Ryan's attitude towards her, Kania tried to dodge, but the young man did not discourage her. His hand touched Kania's chin until they stared at each other. "Look at me. Do I look like I'm kidding? I knew it all, so I decided not to go to America. I know that you're married to a contract even though I don't know why you're doing it. Kania, I still love you and I will wait until your marriage with Arya is over. I'll wait for you." Ryan was serious about what he said.

"You misunderstood us because we loved each other. My sister and I love each other. Never mind Ryan, don't drown out our happiness."

"Do you think I'll believe it? Come on Kania, don't try to keep making me jealous. I really still love you and I want us to go back to what we used to be. Kania, I'll wait until your marriage is over and after that I'll marry you."

Kania was surprised. He did not expect the young man in front of him was already too reckless. "You are crazy!! Realize, we can't go back to how I used to because I love your brother." Kania leaves Ryan, but the young man chases after him and grabs Kania's body into his arms.

"I'll never let you be with my brother or anyone else. It is enough that I have lost you because of my stupidity because this time I do not want to lose you again. If you insist on still rejecting me, then I will expose your contract marriage to everyone and do you think my father will accept your fraud on him?" Ryan looked serious with his words that made Kania silent without wrinkles.

"You're selfish. Don't you think I don't love you anymore? Can you still accept a woman who no longer loves you?"

Hearing Kania's words, Ryan smiled. "That doesn't matter to me, because I'm sure at the bottom of your heart there's still love in me. If it's just to make you fall back in love with me, it's not hard." Ryan again grabbed Kania's hand and continued to climb the stairs as if he was sure he could make Kania fall back in his arms.

"Ryan, don't do this to me. Don't you think that your actions will only hurt me and Arya? How could you be that cruel to your own brother?"

"Calm down, I know who my brother is. He wouldn't mind if I told him to hand you over to me. If you don't believe me, do I need to explain to her that the girl I used to love is now her contract wife? Do you think Arya's sister will keep you if she finds out about our relationship in the past?"

Kania is shocked to hear Ryan's words that make her distrustful. Is it possible that Arya will let go if the man finds out that she and Ryan once loved each other? Is it possible that Arya will take it off after just yesterday they promised to always love and take care of each other?

Ryan's words made Kania become distraught. He was afraid that what Ryan said would come true. She is afraid that Arya will take it off just because Ryan loves her too. "If what Ryan said is true, what should I do?" The now restless inner Kania began to fidget.

"I will be silent and will not say anything to Arya about our relationship in the past. I'll just wait until your contract marriage is over and for that long, I hope you won't refuse if I want to see you. Take your time to be with me and I don't want to hear any excuses. Kania, even if you're my sister's wife, but you're mine, keep that."

Once again Kania is taken aback by Ryan's remark which to her is too reckless. He didn't expect Ryan to be that reckless just because of him. Hearing all Ryan's words made Kania no longer able to think until it made her confused to take a stance.

On the one hand, Kania wants to survive in the household she now built with Arya. He wanted to keep the marriage that for him the marriage was first and last. But on the other hand, he is afraid that Arya will find out that she and Ryan have loved each other and can be afraid if Arya takes it off as Ryan tells her.

Kania walked up the stairs after the stairs with a feeling of emptiness. His gaze was only on the footrest of his foot that continued to step with the hand that was still held by Ryan. Despite trying to let go of his hand, Ryan did not budge, even more tightly grasping his hand.

"God, why am I faced with such a complicated situation? Why am I faced with two people who love me? And why can't I be with my chosen man?" Unknowingly, Kania shed tears as Arya's face flashed through her memories. How scared he would be if the man really took it off. Slowly, Kania stopped his steps. His face lowered as it held back the tears that were looking for a gap to come out.

Seeing her talk, Ryan approached her. "Are you angry with me?"

Kania still bowed her face. I don't know what he has to answer for loving is the right of anyone, including the young man's love for him. "I am angry at myself for being present between the two of you. If I had known from the beginning Arya was your sister, I wouldn't have accepted her offer. However, it has happened and now I realize I do not deserve to be among you." Kania wiped her tears because she was determined not to accept Ryan or Arya, because it would only make the brothers hate each other because of her.

"What do you mean by that?" Ryan looked at Kania who slowly raised her face.

"That's it, there's no need to talk about it anymore. Just do what you want, but please don't tell your father anything. She would definitely be sad if she knew about our marriage status."

"Kania, don't ever think that you're leaving me. I'll never let you do that. Wherever you go, I'll find you. I won't let you leave me for a second time, because I won't let that happen." Kania was stunned by Ryan's words that were so afraid of losing her. However, Kania was determined not to choose one of them. He was already determined not to accept both of them so that no heart would be hurt.

Kania stepped back until they arrived at the door of the room where Wicaksana was being treated. At the door, Ryan still clasped Kania's hand until Kania begged to release her hand. By force, Ryan complied.

Kania took a breath and exhaled slowly just to arrange his heart which was now agitated. Until the door opens as Ryan steps in and is followed by her who is greeted with a smile by Arya. For a moment, Kania looked unsteady as Arya walked over to him and clasped her hands. "You're okay, right?" asked Arya who looked worried.

"I'm fine. What are you worried about?"

"My father and mother-in-law. They didn't hurt you, did they?"

Kania smiled as she looked at the anxiety on the man's face. "Don't worry, they're just telling you to look after and make you and Tania happy."

"Ah, thank goodness. I thought they might want to hurt you. Ah, how stupid of me for thinking that." With a smile, Arya then hugged Kania without caring about the whereabouts of Ryan who is now staring at them.

Kania simply fell silent without being able to resist her husband's embrace. While Ryan, now looked at him with a feeling of jealousy that back up in his heart. It felt like he wanted to separate them, but he tried to hold back his feelings even though his hands were clenched with reddened faces.

Love, sometimes makes the feeling of being worried. In the moment when love is present, it is like to have. However, is love capable of having if love from him is reluctant to let go? That is what the three hearts of men now feel trapped in the game of love. Trapped in a love that is difficult to let go because the love they feel is difficult for them to let go.
