Love Kania

The Part 44

The mourners began to arrive. From friends, colleagues and family come to pay their last respects to Wicaksana. Likewise with Selly and Bastian who were present when Kania conveyed the news to them. Dafina who had not returned to America was also present and appeared to sit next to Ryan who looked sad.

Kania sat down while holding Tania. The little girl hugged him tightly with the occasional sound of her sobs. "Don't cry anymore. Grandpa was now happy and Tania had to send prayers to Grandpa often. Grandfather will always live in Tania's heart. Don't cry anymore, okay?" Tania nodded while hugging Kania. Although she did not want to cry, but seeing her sad father and uncle made Tania feel the same way.

After the completion of the funeral prayer, the coffin began to be lifted and taken out of the house. Arya seemed to be shouldering at the front of the coffin and Bastian beside her. While Ryan tried to get up and walk beside his father's coffin.

A motorcade of mourners followed the coffins that had been put in the hearse and slowly left the courtyard of the courtyard of the house to the burial site.

In front of the gaping burrow, Wicaksana's body was slowly lowered with prayers. Kania shed tears as the body was taken down. In front of the mound, Ryan was still sitting looking at his father's still-wet belly button. The mourners one by one began to leave the cemetery. "I know you're sad, but don't be like this. Your father would be sad to see you like this. Come on, they're waiting for you." Dafina turned her head towards Arya and Kania who were already waiting in the car. Although Arya had persuaded him to return, but Ryan was still reluctant and chose to sit in front of his father's grave.

"Go home, and thank you for accompanying me." Ryan spoke flatly without looking at Dafina. Although disappointed, Dafina finally got up and left Ryan who was still sitting glued in front of his father's navel. Dafina then asks for resignation to Arya and Kania. The girl left disappointed.

"I'd better go with Ryan" said Arya, intending to accompany her sister, but Kania prevented her.

"Let me. I'll persuade him to go home. Don't you worry." Kania meets Ryan and sits next to him.

"When are you going to sit here? Are you the one saddened by Dad's departure? Look Arya, she's sad and look at me, but I don't love your father and I'm sad." Kania looked at the tombstone and slowly she shed tears.

"I know you're sad, but you have to accept everything. Until when will you dissolve in sadness because life must continue. Ryan, put your face up and get on with your life. You must ... " Kania stopped her sentence because suddenly Ryan hugged her.

"I'll move on with my life, but with you. I want to live with you." Kania was surprised when Ryan hugged her. While Arya, unsuspecting in the least just looked at them. He thought, maybe Ryan just needs a place to lean on the sadness he is now experiencing.

"Ryan, don't be like this. Please, think about your brother's feelings. Wouldn't you hurt her if you did something like this?"

Ryan let go of his embrace and got up leaving Kania who was just looking at him in wonder. Without saying anything, Ryan got into the car and was followed by Kania who sat in front accompanying Arya.

The atmosphere in the car was silent without a sound. There was not a word spoken even though in their hearts so much grief and sorrow wanted to be said. However, they chose to remain silent until they arrived home.

Ryan got out of the car and walked into the house. Without caring about Kania and Arya, the young man went into his room and locked himself in there.

Arya who saw his attitude can only resign because she knows, Ryan must be hit for the death of their father. The atmosphere of the house feels lonely. Arya who looks more steadfast, in fact can not hide her sadness. Withholding a cry, the man entered into his father's room. Seeing the atmosphere in the room, he cried in silence. The cry he had been holding since then was now broken in a heartbreaking sounding sob. Seeing him, Kania went in to see him. Gently, Kania stroked the back of her husband who was now crying in her arms.

Kania was silent without a sound. I don't know what to say to calm her husband down. Only a hug can she give even if she doesn't know, if she can still be by her side if Arya finds out about her past. "I'm sorry, right now I can't be honest with you. You must be sad and I don't want to add to your sadness. I'll wait for the right time to come clean to you" Kania said as she gently stroked her husband's back.

By nightfall, Ryan had not yet appeared. The young man remained silent in his room. Worried, Arya tries to meet him. "Ryan, out. Let's have dinner." Arya knocked on the locked door from inside. Even though it was knocked on, the door to his room was not yet open.

"Have it, don't force it. Come on, let's eat first after that rest. You must also be tired after a day of taking care of dad's funeral." Hearing Kania's voice on the doorstep of her room, Ryan opened the door. The young man came out and walked towards the dining table.

Back, the atmosphere was so quiet. All that sounded was the occasional clanking of spoons being heard. I don't know why, the atmosphere felt so foreign. The atmosphere of the dining table that used to be crowded with Wicaksana questions to his children, is now no longer heard.

The mood changed when Ryan suddenly cried. Suddenly, Arya approached her sister and hugged her. Indeed, the two young men loved each other so much that Kania also shed tears. Arya who understands the sadness of Ryan, in fact is able to provide shade to his sister. Seeing the affection between them made it even harder for Kania to make a decision.

"I will read the points your father has told you. And whatever it is, your father wishes you could accept it and love each other after his departure. As for those points are expected for your good and future."

The lawyer then took out several pieces of paper and each was handed over to Arya and Ryan. "Is your wife named Kania?" ask the lawyer to Arya.

"Yes, sir."

"Please call your wife because your father also bequeathed her."

Kania is shocked to learn that her father-in-law has set aside an inheritance for her. Although reluctant, but Arya forced him to accept. "Kania, isn't my father your father too? That's what you often tell me. So, just take what I'm gonna give you." Arya seems to persuade Kania to accept the inheritance and Kania is forced to obey.

While holding back tears, Kania received an ATM and a bankbook that read in her name. The nominal in savings was enough for Kania to buy a mansion. Because of his affection for Kania, Wicaksana provided savings for his son-in-law.

As for Arya and Ryan, they also got the same rights. Some land as well as houses, were divided equally for them. Although Arya is an adopted child, but she also gets the same share as what Ryan got.

After doing his job, the lawyer left.

"Sister Arya, there's something I want to talk to Brother about." Ryan looked so serious that he made Kania worried. She was afraid that Ryan would tell her brother everything.

"What's wrong? Just tell me, Brother will listen." The two sisters are now sitting opposite each other, while Kania looks restless in the kitchen. With a feeling of anxiety, Kania made two glasses of honey water commonly made for Arya.

"I love a girl and she's the girl I used to love. Brother still reminded me of the time I wanted to introduce him to Big Brother first? Now, I know why she left me and I forgive her, and I still love her and want to marry her." Ryan stopped his words.

"So, have you met again? In that case, introduce him to Brother and if necessary Brother will propose to you." Arya smiled when she heard that the woman who had made her sister happy was now back in her sister's life.

In the past, Ryan was so proud of the woman who had made him happy with his brother. Arya knew how much love her sister felt for the woman. At all times, Ryan would tell her the kindness and even the tenderness of the woman. It's just that, Arya has not had time to meet the woman because Ryan has already been injured to make him release his lover.

"But, he's not gonna hurt you anymore, is he?" asked Arya who looked worried if her sister was hurt again.

Ryan remained silent. There was a sudden sense of guilt, but he was trying to shake off that sense. She does not want to lose Kania again even though she is aware, her brother may be surprised or hurt at what will be said by her. Ryan was determined to have her brother take Kania off because he thought they were married not out of love, but because of something he himself did not know.

"I want Big Brother to let go because he is ... " Suddenly there was the sound of a glass falling on the floor with the sound of Kania whimpering in pain. Ryan ran to the kitchen and found Kania holding her left hand reddened by the hot water from the glass.

Thinking of the two sisters, Kania did not focus on her work until her hand dropped the glass containing honey water that was still hot.

Seeing Kania moaning in pain, Ryan became panicked. Kania's hands are flushed and then submerged in ice water. Arya who saw the panic on her sister's face could only see it without saying anything, although Arya was actually very worried about the state of Kania. It feels like he is in that position, where he is a husband who takes care of his wife. However, he could not possibly forbid his sister to treat Kania.

"Sister Arya, please bring me the ointment medicine on my closet" Ryan said, holding Kania's reddened hand.

Arya then headed to her sister's room. On top of the closet, Arya looks for the ointment drug that her sister meant, but she does not find. The drawer in the closet did not escape being opened and searched for, but still he did not find. "Is it not in his desk drawer?" Arya then went to the table lying beside the bed and opened a small drawer on the table. And sure enough, the ointment medicine was there. Arya then took it, but her gaze was now disturbed when she saw a piece of photo lying in the drawer.

Arya then took the photo and saw a face that was familiar to him. In the photo, Ryan appears to be smiling happily with a girl standing in front of him. The girl smiled as Ryan hugged her from behind. Suddenly, Arya shed tears as she saw the girl who was with Ryan in the photo was Kania. For a moment, Arya was sitting languidly by the side of the bed. Her tears were hanging from her eyes. It feels, his heart is broken when he finds out the woman who was makaud Ryan is Kania. The woman who made him fall in love.

Slowly, Arya wiped her tears and moved out of the room. With a wounded heart, Arya went towards the kitchen and saw the sight that came back painful for her. How Ryan was so worried about Kania. How Ryan treated Kania gently. For a moment, Arya lowered her gaze, but not for long. "Ryan, here's the ointment." Arya gives the ointment to Ryan and steps away leaving them. Kania, who saw him leave, could only stare at his passing as if she knew that the man was injured.
