College Or College Ah?
Final Night
Month passed.....
The Campus Ambassador Final was held today....
Since the morning I was in Nunu's boarding house for Dias, Hanifa chose me clothes and accessories while Arika was busy rallying support through social media.
I've been in the top 20 and it feels like a dream... When I heard that I was the only representative of the faculty who escaped, I was in disbelief.
Mr. Yana and all the lecturers from my department have given me support by sending me flowers, food and drinks for my support and promising me scholarship money as appreciation.
I became excited despite feeling very tired with a busy schedule ahead of the final.
Fortunately, I have three friends who always support me.
"Rain, your hair wants to be flanked today?" ask Nunu.
"Nu brideshair model is good and fits the dress" replied Hanifa.
"Yes, whatever I believe in you" I said.
When the other finalists chose to make up at the expensive salon, I chose my three best friends to be my behind-the-scenes team.
"Sir Iyas is coming, isn't Rain?" ask Hanifa.
"Come here, he said it'll be at 7 o'clock mallem pas opengatenya" I replied.
Andreas has been so sweet lately after he found out I was in the Finals. She became more frequent in posting photos with me on her social media.
"Let's later if you choose to be a campus ambassador, guys who want to deletin you already know that you have a boyfriend" he explained.

After I finished choosing makeup, clothes, shoes and hair with Hanuka, they asked me to read a lot of books...
"Now read!" nunu.
"What is a book?" my many.
"That's the Bandung history book, Bandung pariwasata and how to answer good and true questions" he explained.
"That's our minjem in Rain's loh perbus, because we want you to learn again by the end of the night. Iyasih we know, if you answer questions in English and Sundanese you can definitely. But, we want you to be more careful" replied Arika.
"Yes-yes I read, how many more hours to make up?" my many.
"You have 3 hours before we start making up" replied Nunu.
Hanifa keeps a close eye on live voting on Instagram and twitter.
"You're still in the top seven of Rain, the female finalists are just you, Irish and Yasmin" Hanifa shouted.
"What a beautiful irish rain?" sahut Arika's.
"He's a rich doll alive" I said.
"Rain's calm, beautiful is relative and not only seen from the physical but also from the heart and mind" said Nunu who was suddenly wise.
After reading the book......
Dad called me to ask what time the event would start, then I said that the open gate at 7 pm and about half 8 events would start...
"Yaudah, Iyas called Dad earlier he said he was making sure to use his car. How come Dad's with Mom and your dickheads come?" ask Dad.
"Who is well, I really hope my family comes to love support. But, if I don't make the top 5, don't be disappointed?" I said.
"Darling, want you to only perform once and not win even Dad still proud. Yaudah, you spirit yes! Father and Mother doain from home, do not forget to pray and ask to be launched all the same above" said Father.
"Rain is ready, right? Now you take a shower I have prepared a bucket of water that has been mixed with essential oils that are very fragrant" said Arika.
"Geez, I'm gonna be a college ambassador or get married anyway?" my many.

An hour before the show starts....
"Yu ah leave, Rain no one misses right?" ask Hanifa.
"No ko, yu unplug?" take me.
Arriving at the general hall, I saw so many friends who came to support me. They carried banners reading support for me.
"Rain let's go to the dressing room" Nunu asked.
In the dressing room, I saw a lot of comrades in arms getting ready. Some were preoccupied with dresses, reading books and seeing live voting. While male friends of prospective campus ambassadors are also busy playing games together.
"Raina, it's so pretty" Yasmin said after seeing me change clothes.
"Like it when you're more beautiful" I said.

As the show begins, Arika and Hanifa return to the stands to watch me from there. While Nunu stayed behind the stage to help me.
"Yes rain's spirit" they said as they hugged me.
I took a deep breath and began to walk into the stage.
It felt very crowded and crowded, seeing hundreds of people and dozens of cameras in front of me.
My eyes immediately fell on a man wearing a white shirt with his arms folded up to his elbows.
His face seemed to exude a great deal of pride, anxiety, longing and hope at that time.
The man who sits among my guardian angels, between my mother and my father.
"Hwaiting Raina!!!"
The banner he held looked different from the others. For the first time in my life, there was a man who treated me that special.
Recca and Randy's seemingly astonished hand, in their brains they may now wonder "is it true that I'm their sister?"....
The applause of Father and Mother that made my heart tremble as my name was called to give greetings.

At tonight's talent show, I'm going to perform a musical poem.
My new skill at playing the guitar made me quite confident, even though it was just a simple key I could hear.
Andreas must have been surprised to see me play the guitar.
Luckily I have a great friend like Hanifa, who taught me how to play guitar well.

I saw my mom and dad shed their tears...
Everyone present became blue. A sad atmosphere rippled throughout the room.
Before long cheers of applause accompanied the bow of my body. I returned backstage and was greeted by Nunu's warm embrace.
"It's great Rain, I'm so proud of you" he said.
After this there's still a lot to go through, answering questions from the jury, telling me about myself and lastly waiting for the top 5 announcement....

What is your greatest motivation for living as Raina now, with everything you have in this world?
My first biggest motivation is myself. I want to give my highest appreciation to myself for making myself proud of the efforts I put in to get the kindness and love of the crowd.
Second, it is my family. A place where God has given me so many good things, where I can grow and develop well without any lack of one.
Third, all my friends who always believe me that I can do my best. Accompanying my failures and always convincing me to try and start again all that fails for then I turn into success in the future.

Infinity. Even the assurance of my entire soul during my lifetime would not be able to replace the sweat, blood and tears that my parents shed to give me a decent life up to this very moment.

How do you convince many people that you deserve to be the vanguard of this campus to show the many potentials and expectations that all students on this campus have in building the country?
I knew this college in my transition from adolescence to adulthood. This campus has become a second home for me, a place where I spend more time everyday. I built many of my dreams and watered them every day with hope and effort on this campus. I want to transmit the positive spirit and energy of my hopes and dreams to many people. One way, by becoming a campus ambassador. I can give you the idea that our beloved campus never condemns dreams and hopes but instead lets it grow and flourish.

I like to explain myself to a lot of people, make them feel close to me and make them feel my passion through my daily life. So for anyone who feels moved and wants to have an impact for many people, let's join me and we spread a lot of good and positive things in making it happen

I don't think this is my third time changing into a costume...

"Rain, Mr. Yana was the same lecturer watching you earlier" said Nunu while putting on my hair.
"Nu, I'm so tense. What if I don't pass the top five? You really are scared" I said.
Nunu held my hand...
"Geez, it's so cold!" said.
"I know who can calm you down" added Nunu.
He left the room and went back with someone.
"Well, this is Rain the most powerful sedative" ledek Nunu.
"Sister!!" shouted excited.
She squatted down below me and smiled sweetly.
"Why? Tense huh?" tanyakanya.
I held her hand and kept her hands on both of my cheeks.
"Aaaaaaaahhhh I feel like I'm going to faint" I said.
He laughed and put his face to my ear.
"I'll give you a surprise that you'll never be able to escape if you can calm down and get through the night smoothly" he said.
"What surprise?" my many.
"Secret, just now you calm down and take a deep breath keep in mind that behind you are so many people who love you support. Do not think of winning or losing, the name of the competition must only have 1 champion. So far you have proven as many people that you are great" he said.
"Rain is time to go on stage" Nunu said.
I hugged Andreas before leaving, he kissed my forehead and returned to the stands.

I was very surprised to hear that my name was announced to be the top 5 finalists of the campus ambassador.
My neck is so weak it's tense...
Luckily I had time to think about my second solo performance through my brief discussion with Nunu backstage.

I thought about that song a long time ago, the melody always remembered in my head. I also really liked that song. Randy also often plays it while free with me.
The song is like the national anthem of my home, because I've been hearing it since I was a kid.
The lyrics are very universal, can be for the couple of relatives and family friends... It tells how a person's life changes after losing the one he loved a long time ago.

After the solo performance and question and answer session is over....
"Oath ya na, you make me forget that this is the original campus ambassador haha event rich in solo concerts" Nunu praised me.
At the same time Yasmin and Irish came to give their appreciation.

"You were better than the ballet" I said.

Shortly thereafter, all finalists were called to the stage to hear the announcement of the champion....
I didn't expect much, it felt like getting to the top five was more than my expectations. It's just that I do have the desire to win because I want to see Father, Mother, my sisters and of course Brother Iyas proud of me.
Despite their words, they were already proud to see me on stage and being watched by so many people. It's just that I want to bring one award to myself. For example as a friendship ambassador or a favorite ambassador hehehe......
