60. Frankly speaking (Author POV)

Dinner this time felt different than usual just because of Elin's presence in their Mansion.

Usually, Javier is rarely there and even if Javier spends dinner with his family, he still feels there is less after Elin was declared dead 2 years ago.

"Eat a lot, honey. Auntie wants you to pay attention to your meal portions again" Elara told Elin. The girl only nodded in disdain at Elara's unrequited kindness.

"Don't feel awkward. You're like our own daughter" said Shane, who can read Elin's book there.

"Thank you Auntie, Uncle. I don't know what to repay your kindness for and how."

"You just have to repay him by loving me with all your heart" Javier said, winking one eye at Elin.

Elin and everyone at the table chuckled softly while shaking their heads at the words of Javier who seemed to be flocking.

"Last afternoon, I thought I had a dream when I saw Elin" Javier said, acknowledging how he felt.

Elara laughed, even Shane. While Elin reviewed a faint smile.

"All right," said Elin. The girl breathed in with all her chest before finally telling her everything. Regarding Nathan's help to him, also honest about Nathan this time is the same Nathan as the young man Javier had seen with him the other day.

"I don't praise him, brother. Ah, stop!" Elin stood up, preparing to enter her own room because she did not want to fight with Javier because of this problem.

"Where are you going?" Javier hastily blocks Elin's steps so that the girl doesn't just leave.

Javier shook his head violently as a gesture forbidding Elin from going from there.

"I'm not asking you to fight" Javier said casually.

"This is why I'm so lazy to tell you, brother!" Elin folded her hands on her chest while standing lazily in front of Javier who did not let her through.

"Did you tell her you were mine? At least to let him know that you can't be approached."

"I didn't say that."

Javier glared at Elin's confession. "Why? You should have said it."

"Already Brother. I've had enough trouble for Nathan while I was there. Moreover, I pretended to be paralyzed while being a slave in his grandmother's house."

"You're worried about him?" javier's circus.

"Should we continue to discuss it and fight on the first day of our meeting?" Elin asked back.

"I'm not saying it's a fight. I just want to keep you open to me."

Javier let out a short sigh and repeated it several times.

"alright. Forgive my childish attitude. I'll personally thank him for helping you a lot" Javier finally broke up.

Elin looked all that instant as well. He didn't expect Javier to give an answer like this. Humbling himself, and putting aside the ego is not Javier's self, but he seems willing to do that to show how grateful he is about Elin who has returned.

In Javier's heart, he is also very grateful to Nathan who wants to return Elin to the right life. "You seriously want to thank Nathan, brother?"

"With me?" elin asked with a glimmer of happiness.

Javier poked slowly at Elin's forehead. "Of course not, honey. I'll see him myself. Without you," he said, stressing that Elin knew that he would not allow a reunion between Elin and the young man named Nathan.

"Whatever," said Elin cuek, the girl slightly pushed Javier's body which had been blocking his steps and the action managed to make Elin can move from the presence of Javier.

"Don't try to meet her behind my back, My Dear" Javier chanted.

Elin just shook her hands high in response to Javier's words. He did not look at Javier who was now behind him.
