Dinner this time felt different than usual just because of Elin's presence in their Mansion.
Usually, Javier is rarely there and even if Javier spends dinner with his family, he still feels there is less after Elin was declared dead 2 years ago.
"Eat a lot, honey. Auntie wants you to pay attention to your meal portions again" Elara told Elin. The girl only nodded in disdain at Elara's unrequited kindness.
"Don't feel awkward. You're like our own daughter" said Shane, who can read Elin's book there.
"Thank you Auntie, Uncle. I don't know what to repay your kindness for and how."
"You just have to repay him by loving me with all your heart" Javier said, winking one eye at Elin.
Elin and everyone at the table chuckled softly while shaking their heads at the words of Javier who seemed to be flocking.
"Last afternoon, I thought I had a dream when I saw Elin" Javier said, acknowledging how he felt.
Elara laughed, even Shane. While Elin reviewed a faint smile.
"What's important is that you don't consider me a ghost, do you?"
"Almost," said Javier.
The atmosphere of the night was warm as they all threw guyonan at each other. In fact, usually they are used to eating solemnly without sound. All of that was deliberately done to make Elin feel accepted, as well as feel the complete family.
After dinner, Javier invites Elin to sit on the edge of the pool next to the house.
"You know, I'm so happy to be back to seeing you for real. All this time, I could only find you in my dreams."
Now Elin understands why this afternoon Javier thought it was all a dream. The man has had the same dream quite often. Dream of meeting Elin and chatting with her in her subconscious.
"Maybe it's because I miss you too much too, brother. So that I appear in your dreams" replied Elin.
"Can you tell me, why my Mom and Daddy found you?"
Javier only heard Elin's story about her condition and who set her up. Javier has not had time to discuss the thing he currently wants to know about meeting Elin with his parents to bring Elin back to their residence.
Elin himself was at a loss to explain it to Javier. He certainly does not want to carry the name Nathan in the midst of their current togetherness, he said, but anyway Nathan did play an important role in the process of meeting Elin with both parents Javier to be able to make Elin back to Javier as it is today.
"Didn't you want to tell me? Or am I just gonna ask Mom?" javier said he gave me options.
Elin raised her gaze until their gazes were rubbed against each other. Javier could read that there was doubt in his girl's eyes to be forthright about this to him.
"There's someone helping me" Elin's great-grandson finally said.
"Someone?"
"Yes, he and his grandmother redeemed me from the slave market. Although in their residence I remained a slave as well, but that person helped me quite a lot until I was finally able to break free from his own grandmother's residence."
"And I want to know who it is" Javier said.
Elin bit her lips briefly. "He ... Nathan," he replied quietly.
"Nathan's name? Oh, what a coincidence .. It seems like you're always meeting and relating to a guy named Nathan."
Javier chuckles. He could not forget that name. Nathan, the young man who had approached Elin a few years ago, even seemed familiar with Elin when Elin left the Javier-former Apartment.
However, of course Javier never thought if Nathan who this time helped Elin was the same Nathan as the young man at that time.
"Yes ..." Elin forced to review the smile. "It was a coincidence" he said.
"Is he still in school? Or an old man?"
"Why should we talk about it, brother?" Very clear if Elin wants to avoid this discussion. But that made Javier curious.
Instead of answering Elin's words with another discussion, Javier posed a question that sounded like satire.
"Why don't you want to tell me?" hatchlings.
"I just don't want you to get angry" Elin admitted.
"Why should I be angry? If everything's straight, then there's very little chance that I'll get mad at you, My Dear."
"Please promise not to get angry if I tell you."
"I can't promise anything that isn't clear" Javier said in his cue mode.
"Don't cover anything from me. You know we don't have privacy for this kind of talk" Javier said.
"All right," said Elin. The girl breathed in with all her chest before finally telling her everything. Regarding Nathan's help to him, also honest about Nathan this time is the same Nathan as the young man Javier had seen with him the other day.
"So he-" Javier was surprised as if out of words. Several times his mouth has been opened to connect the conversation, but the next second Javier's lips again clenched tightly. He was confused as to why Elin had to meet the young man again. Sometimes fate is so funny, Javier thought.
"You promised not to be angry, brother." Elin reminded Javier.
"I told you I wouldn't promise anything vague" Javier said with a face that turned sour. He's a man who can judge if what Nathan did for Elin is a sign that the young man is interested in his girl.
"After all, I can't plan what and with whom I can meet, sister. The rendezvous between me and Nathan in Berlin was unintentional and just happened. He took care of me from the violence of his grandmother and he defended me there a lot. If there is no Nathan, maybe my suffering is more painful and what I receive will be much worse" Elin said at length hoping Javier understood his position.
"Yeah.. keep praising him" Javier responded. In fact, Elin thought Javier would understand, in fact the man was still as possessive as before.
"I don't praise him, brother. Ah, stop!" Elin stood up, preparing to enter her own room because she did not want to fight with Javier because of this problem.
"Where are you going?" Javier hastily blocks Elin's steps so that the girl doesn't just leave.
"I avoid quarrels between us because of this discussion."
Javier shook his head violently as a gesture forbidding Elin from going from there.
"I'm not asking you to fight" Javier said casually.
"This is why I'm so lazy to tell you, brother!" Elin folded her hands on her chest while standing lazily in front of Javier who did not let her through.
"Did you tell her you were mine? At least to let him know that you can't be approached."
"I didn't say that."
Javier glared at Elin's confession. "Why? You should have said it."
"Already Brother. I've had enough trouble for Nathan while I was there. Moreover, I pretended to be paralyzed while being a slave in his grandmother's house."
"You're worried about him?" javier's circus.
"Should we continue to discuss it and fight on the first day of our meeting?" Elin asked back.
"I'm not saying it's a fight. I just want to keep you open to me."
"Here you are, brother, you will never understand my situation at that time."
Javier let out a short sigh and repeated it several times.
"alright. Forgive my childish attitude. I'll personally thank him for helping you a lot" Javier finally broke up.
Elin looked all that instant as well. He didn't expect Javier to give an answer like this. Humbling himself, and putting aside the ego is not Javier's self, but he seems willing to do that to show how grateful he is about Elin who has returned.
In Javier's heart, he is also very grateful to Nathan who wants to return Elin to the right life. In fact, the young man could have used the existence of Elin while living in his grandmother's residence. In fact, Nathan didn't take that chance. He instead helped Elin to be free from the shackles called slavery that Elin received.
"You seriously want to thank Nathan, brother?"
Javier nods. "Well, thanks to that you came back to me. I think he sincerely likes you and wishes you a better life" Javier said, acknowledging Nathan's feelings that he could infer as a man.
"I don't want to talk about the feelings of another young man, brother." Elin smiled gently. "... but I'm really grateful that you're really grateful to Nathan for the good he's done to me" she said.
"Of course, take this as a form of my gratitude as well, since you've returned to my side. I'll see him in person later."
"With me?" elin asked with a glimmer of happiness.
Javier poked slowly at Elin's forehead. "Of course not, honey. I'll see him myself. Without you," he said, stressing that Elin knew that he would not allow a reunion between Elin and the young man named Nathan.
"Whatever," said Elin cuek, the girl slightly pushed Javier's body which had been blocking his steps and the action managed to make Elin can move from the presence of Javier.
"Don't try to meet her behind my back, My Dear" Javier chanted.
Elin just shook her hands high in response to Javier's words. He did not look at Javier who was now behind him.
...Seriate.......
