21. Not yet realized (Author POV)

Elin is happy because her mother is conscious, but she still wants to know why Javier can know her mother so she can give the message to the man to take care of her.

Elin could not be patient any longer, he wanted to urge Javier to tell him when and where Javier knew his mother.

"I think you can explain it to me, brother!" sue Elin for the man.

Javier let out a short sigh, then turned to Elin to stare at the girl's long-goals.

"Hmm, I've known Aunt Arbei since I was a kid, she worked at my parents' mansion, before" Javier said.

"So, did you arrange our meeting?" guess Elin remembers Javier can do anything with his power.

"No. I never expected to meet you at Aro's Casino. But I have to admit if I'm surprised to find you there."

"You didn't set it up, but you knew right away that I was the daughter of your ex-servant?" elin's circus with discordant ruckus.

"You need to know, Elin .. I did know you before our meeting at Aro's place."

Elin's forehead immediately shriveled in astonishment. "meaning?" tanyanya's confused.

"You said yourself that you had an accident and caused you temporary amnesia. You've forgotten my past, Elin."

"really? So, I knew you before?" Elin closed her open mouth. "Really's? I really don't remember it."

"Yes, so I summed it up myself when you said you had amnesia."

"Why didn't you tell me in the first place, brother?"

"I don't think it's gonna have any effect on you."

"At least I know that you're one of the people I've known in the past."

Javier only backs up his trademark thin smile without any intention of discussing this further.

Elin seemed silent for a while, until she finally remembered something. The girl then pulled out a pendant that had been tucked inside her shirt.

"So, this locket is ..." Suddenly Elin recalled that her mother had said that it was a gift from her former employer.

"Hm, that's my mother's gift" Javier's chimpanzee recounted Elin's hanging speech.

"Your mother's a good man, brother."

"That's why I became a good person too" Javier said with a confident smile.

Elin held back his laughter, in fact he always liked Javier's attitude. Although the man is cold, arrogant and arrogant in the eyes of others but sometimes Javier often warm to him. For two weeks Elin tried to stay away from Javier and pretend to approach Jack only to forget the man he had already liked in that short period of time.

"I hope you can get better soon after today."

"Yup. You need to see her more often and take care of her."

"May I spend the night at the Hospital to look after my mother, Brother?"

"Yes, you can" Javier finally said. He's gonna be looking for an escape tonight.

Elin had wanted to call out to say thank you to the man but suddenly he remembered the habit of Javier who had been used to sleeping with him.

"But how did you sleep tonight? Does it matter if there's no me?"

"I'm going to sleep on my own, shouldn't I also try to study without you because one day I'm going to set you free?"

Somehow every remember it was precisely Elin's heart felt pinched hard. It's not just Elin, Javier feels the same way, although he had promised Elin that - intent on freeing the girl someday - but he himself did not know when he would be able to fall asleep without Elin by his side, because anyway Javier was already used to the girl.

"Alright, Brother. Just do not look for someone else to replace me to accompany your sleep," Elin said without realizing it.

Javier chuckles softly. "It seems that you are very afraid that your work will be taken over by someone else" he lapsed.

Elin was happy because eventually he and Javier could have a long light conversation like this, so he hurriedly overcame her.

"Yes, I'm scared. Aren't you the one who said that women out there are too aggressive and seduce you often, so you better not try to find them to take my place tonight."

Now Javier is really laughing.

"Your words are like you're my only partner" he said.

And Elin's face immediately flushed red because of the words Javier gave. He also realized that his words had exceeded normal limits, as if he was the owner of the man.

"Sorry, Brother. I just don't want you to bother with the other women later."

"Oh yeah? I wouldn't be troubled if I was against them" Javier said randomly and Elin's eyes immediately glared at him.

"Here you go, I'll see mom. And yes, if you want to find another woman to replace me, don't forget to have Jack come here to take your place with me!" elin's reply looked fierce.

Javier smelled a smile at the departure of Elin who was grumbling, but he was relieved because in the end he could tell Elin about the past of those who had known him even though he did not tell him fully.

Javier chose to contact his mother to inform her of Aunt Arbei's condition and the mother's response was even angry.

"Why did you just tell mom that Aunt Arbei was so sick? Send her Hospital address to mom and I'll be there to see Aunt Arbei!" serobot Elara, Javier's mother.

"All right, Mom."

After his mother disconnects the call, Javier is confused as to whether or not he will continue to contact Jack to keep Elin at the Hospital. Somehow now he did not want his assistant to meet Elin was the opposite. Javier seems to deliberately make them both eye-to-eye.

Does this have anything to do with Elin saying she's going to get close to Jack because she's starting to like him? But, why would Javier have to get in the way?

Javier shook his head faintly, Jack did not need to be contacted, he thought. Because Javier himself will remain at the Hospital to monitor Elin and Aunt Arbei. Moreover, Javier is still worried if Liam finds Elin here because sooner or later Elin's half-brother will hear the news and look for the whereabouts of Elin who has come out of Aro's Casino.

"Hhhh ..." Javier whined long. "My task is increasing now," he said in a listless tone. How else, he had also promised Aunt Arbei to take care of Elin.

However, what actually happened was that Javier had not realized that the habits he had been through with Elin had actually caused other feelings that he did not understand the meaning. The fear of loss and the unwillingness to be left behind is formed when he and Elin are used together because of the space and time that Javier created himself.

For that reason, maybe Javier needs a longer time to realize all this. Didn't he?
