26. Resisting worry (Author POV)

There are some jobs that can not be replaced by others, so inevitably Javier had to leave Elin at the Hospital without his care.

"He's Carla, he's gonna take care of you here."

Javier introduces a young woman to Elin, without looking at her face.

"Hallo, I'm Elin." Elin reached out to the tomboy-looking woman, and Carla greeted her.

"What's wrong?" Javier's question coincides with Jack's phone call.

"Miss Elin---"

"What's wrong with her?" ambush Javier who was immediately upset when he heard the name Elin called.

There, Javier sees the small back behind him, Elin sees the twilight view from the Hospital guardrail. Javier knew Elin's shoulder was still shaking indicating the owner was still crying, evidenced if the suction sound was heard in Javier's sense of hearing now.

"Elin ..." said Javier softly.

Elin did not turn her head immediately, maybe she had not realized the arrival of Javier, nor heard a slow call from the man's lips.

Elin's mouth opened, wanting to complain to Javier about what happened to him, but he had not had time to do so, Javier first moved to embrace his body.

Javier brought Elin into his arms, and this time the act managed to make Elin cry again.

"Sir Javier ...."
