58. The dreams? (Author POV)

Javier entered his parents' residence as soon as he arrived in Hamburg on the same day.

"Jav?" Elara welcomes her son home. The woman's smile seemed to show an aura of happiness that emanated clearly until it could be felt by Javier.

"Are you that happy when you saw me back?" javier asked, who gave a smile because he saw Elara's exaggerated response.

"Yes, I miss you so much. Here, hug mom, Boy!"

Javier shook his head faintly at the expression of the mother, he held amusedly because of his mother's strange attitude, but finally he approached Elara and then hugged the woman who had given birth to him.

"You seem to have a lot of thoughts. I don't like seeing you like this."

"What looks like, huh? I've been doing a lot of work lately, ma'am."

"It's not your job that much, but you're deliberately looking for things for you to do."

Javier thinning lips. "Where's Daddy, Mom? Why is he so urging me to come home?" tanyakanya.

"Where else is your Daddy, surely he's in the backyard and feeding his fish" replied Elara with a smile.

Javier took a short breath. "All right, I'll meet him there. It seems like she was lonely not arguing with me for the two weeks I was gone" she lapsed.

Javier was about to move, but Elara blocked the man's wrist.

"Before you go to the backyard, may I ask you something first."

Javier turned to his mother again, even now he frowned deeply enough just to feel if his mother was getting serious at this time.

"Well, what, Mom?"

"On Vivian." Elara hopes Javier understands what she wants to ask, even though she has not yet asked her son a clear question.

"I told mom. I can't, Mom." And it turns out Javier understood what his mother meant.

"Is your feeling for Elin still the same as it used to be?" elara asked for an honest answer from her son's mouth.

Elara had already opened her mouth to respond to Javier's statement, but the man again made a sound.

"... Don't force me again, Mom." Javier shook his head. "Because I won't be able to be with Vivian, I don't want to hurt her more from the inside, I don't want her to be expecting me more, I think that's enough" she said.

Elara nodded. "Well, this time I won't force you again. I'm gonna close the thing about Vivian and all the decisions are in your hands."

"okay, Mum. I'm going to see Daddy in the backyard" Javier broke up.

"Mother will call Aunty Connie and will say that you and Vivian can't be together."

"Thank, Mum."

Javier walked away from Elara, never knowing that what he would meet in the backyard was not the father, but the girl who had made him feel the greatest loss.

Shane and Elara tell Elin that Javier will be home today. For that, Elin prepared to meet him.

Previously, the girl took a shower and pegged herself in front of the mirror. He doesn't know if Javier still has the same feelings as him or not. But, of course Elin hopes that the man still loves her.

Elin thought 2 years might change everything. Including the man's feelings towards him, so Elin also has to prepare himself if later Javier does not love him anymore.

Elin waits for Javier in the backyard. He sat on a tabernacle cloth that he deliberately spread over the grass there.

Elin put a lot of food and drink on the cloth of the tent. So that the atmosphere this afternoon he can enjoy like an excursion there with the man he missed so much for the past 2 years.

Elin wanted to watch the sunset with Javier from that place, although it is only the backyard of Shane and Elara's residence and not a romantic place category - but he still wants to create memorable moments because this is a reunion between him and Javier after a long time be together.

"Drinks already, snacks already. Less especially?" Elin muttered as she tapped a finger on her own chin.

Elin feels much better upon arrival at Javier's parents' second Mansion last night. He slept well and even ate well. Until finally, he heard the news that Javier would arrive this afternoon at the place he now lives.

"Uhm, it looks good if there's fruit." Elin Tau Javier really likes citrus fruits. Looks like he's going back to the kitchen to pick up oranges in the freezer.

When Elin arrived at the kitchen, she heard Elara talking to someone. From his voice, it was Javier.

Being able to hear that voice again was like a gift to Elin. In her position in front of the refrigerator, the girl shed tears. How much he missed the owner of that voice.

Just imagine, during these two years he did not meet Javier, not even communicate with the man. This was the moment Elin had been waiting for the most.

Elin tau Javier can't see his whereabouts in the kitchen, so Elin quickly picks up the orange she wants to arrange in her tent cloth.

Elin also did not hear clearly what Elara and Javier were talking about because they were in a room that was quite far from the kitchen that Elin currently stopped by, after all Elin did not intend to eavesdrop there, so he just focused on the oranges he wanted to take.

Along with Elin who crouched down to arrange oranges in a fruit basket, Javier walked towards the backyard. So that Javier still did not see the existence of Elin, even Elin who did not realize if Javier had gone to the backyard before Elin could return there.

"Dad?" Javier looks for his father in the backyard, near the koi pond that Shane keeps, but Javier does not find the middle-aged man there.

"Jeez .. Where is he?" gerutu Javier's.

Didn't his mother say that his father was there but why wasn't there?

Javier wants to move on, maybe Shane has gone back to the room or to another room in the mansion.

However, when Javier turned around, an orange rolled in the opposite direction and stopped not far from his foot.

Javier's gaze fell on the orange, he ducked slightly and crouched down to pick it up, then stood back up to see who was carrying the orange.

A smile that Javier hadn't seen for a long time, was now right in front of his eyes. Looking at Elin there, she was wearing a knee-length white dress that looked very fitting on her body. It's just that, Javier frowned when he saw the physical changes of the girl who looked thinner.

Javier wanted to cry right then and there. He suddenly felt like the biggest man in the world.

"How are you, brother?"

And that voice, finally really made Javier shed his tears. Gravely. He really sucked.

Javier pecked at his place, with an orange still in his hand. Intention wants to return this orange to the bearer - who he thought was one of his parents' servants - but he guessed wrong.

"Sister, don't you miss me?"

Javier was still silent, until finally Elin approached him and wiped the tears that fell on his cheeks.

That's when Javier flinched, feeling the touch he missed the most. If this is a dream, please no one will wake her up.

"W-how can it be?" Javier's voice finally came out, yet it sounded vibrating.

"I miss you so much, brother. But you don't seem to miss me because you just shut up and won't hold me."

Javier shook his head to mean that what Elin said was not true. He misses that girl very much. Very, very much missed him. The next second, Javier immediately grabbed Elin and took her in his arms.

"I miss you, I miss you so much" whispered Javier in the ear of Elin who was in his arms.

Elin breathed a sigh of relief because it seemed like Javier's feelings for her were still the same as before. However, he felt that Javier's embrace was getting tighter.

"Sister, I-I'm short of breath," said Elin with great difficulty.

Javier immediately broke their embrace. He laughed, but he also cried.

"Hahaha .. Why do you always appear in my dreams like this, My Dear? This is what causes me to want to always fall asleep lately" Javier said.

Elin cupped Javier's cheek, she returned with her best smile.

"You look skinny. Aren't you eating well out there in nature?"

Elin almost chuckled at Javier's words, but he did not explode his laughter.

"Let's sit there. I've prepared a place for both of us" said Elin pointing to her tent cloth which had arranged some snacks and drinks.

"Come on!" Javier still thinks he's in a dream world.

They sat on the plaid patterned cloth in red and white, then looked at the sky that was starting to turn into infinity.

Javier continues to hold Elin's hand without any intention of taking it off.

"I want to peel an orange for Brother, can you please let go of my hand?"

Javier shakes. "I don't want to."

"So don't want to eat oranges?" tawar Elin's.

"No."

"I've brought it for you, brother."

"The orange is no more important than you. If I let go of your hand then you'll disappear again later."

Elin laughed softly. "No, I'm not going to disappear again. I'm already here, right?" abugn.

"I still don't want to. You always say that but eventually you always disappear and after that I will wake up from my sleep. So I don't want to."

Now, Elin knows if it turns out Javier thinks he is in a dream world.

"I'm here, brother. Not in your dreams. It's not a dream, it's reality." Elin tries to resuscitate Javier.

Javier laughs discordantly, where he believes just like Elin said. He even put their fingers together so that the grip on Elin's hand tighter.

"Maybe this will make you believe that you're not dreaming." After saying that sentence, Elin kissed Javier's lips until the man froze in his place.
