48. Needs each other (Author POV)

To equip Elin with martial arts, Javier asks Carla to become a personal trainer and train the girl.

Of course Carla doesn't mind. Besides working for Javier, he knows Elin well.

Not waiting long, the next day Elin and Carla were able to train in a special room in the Javier Apartment. Everything needed was there because Javier also often trained when he was not busy.

"One of the file storage rooms had a fire. It's all handled but I want to make sure how things are and how bad."

"Alright, be careful, brother."

"Hm." Javier dyed Elin's forehead briefly, until finally the man actually left in a hurry.

Elin looked at Carla and the tomboy as if convincing through the look of her eyes that everything would be fine.

Finally, that day Elin did fashion fittings alone. She looks very beautiful even though there are some parts of her wedding dress that must be repaired because it turns out Elin's weight is slightly up.

"Am I fat, Carla?"

"Not really, Ms. You don't look any different from our first meeting."

"But I'm gaining weight" complained Elin.

"Maybe because now you're much calmer and happier."

Elin gave a thin smile. Carla was right, now she didn't think much of anything. And again, he was very skinny. So his weight gain is now actually good to add a plus in his appearance.

"Is everything ready?" elin asked the officer who helped her to reopen the wedding dress she was wearing earlier.

Elin and Carla finally get out of the Bridal building and are about to return to the apartment.

There is no bad feeling in Elin, he is just worried about Javier who has not given news since his departure.

"Is everything going to be okay, Carla?"

Elin could breathe a sigh of relief because of the answer Carla gave but she gasped in shock when she arrived at the connecting corridor that became her access to Javier's Apartment unit.

There, he saw a figure that could not be mistaken he recognized. The man smirked towards Elin with the look that Elin had always hated long ago.

"Hi, my sister .. I think your life is so good now. don't you intend to take me out of poverty too?"

There was Liam there who put up a look of innocence at all.

Elin took a few steps back, though she was quite calm as Carla was still by her side.
