39. Take care of all this (Author POV)

Cring kring …

Bell's sign of food ready to be served was heard, followed by the voice of someone calling Elin as the girl passed by.

"Elin, this is food for table 21, please deliver this order, yes."

"Okay," replied Elin.he reviewed a smile even though he was actually very tired. From Elin came to the hour home, he seemed not given a chance to be calm. Elin really looked busy.

Elin showed loyalty to her work and tried to work wholeheartedly. Until now, he has also not found another side job, so let him now work as much as possible at the restaurant.

Elin took the food and put it on the tray. Slowly, he began to carry it towards table number 21.

Elin serves her food at the table, she is tired of noticing clearly who the guest is sitting at table 21 but when Elin greets the guest, she begins to realize that she knows this figure.

"Happy— you?" said Elin who glared at the presence of Nathan there.

The young man had a flat face, even impressed not to recognize Elin. He did not know it was Elin and realized it when he heard the girl's voice.

"You work here?" ask Nathan.

"Don't pretend not to know. You're creepy if you keep on being a stalker" Elin said.

"No, no. I don't know. Really, I didn't expect to see you here again. I'm happy to eat here after school" she admitted frankly.

Elin rolled her eyeballs, puffed up. He did not believe and considered Nathan's speech artificial.

"If you don't believe it, yes. I have no obligation to make you believe" Nathan said.

Elin immediately left Nathan's presence, after all he was afraid of a commotion there and ended with his dismissal.

Elin begins to feel annoyed by Nathan's attitude which he feels is deliberately following him. Though it was actually unintentional and just a coincidence but according to Elin there is no such thing as coincidence. He thinks Nathan is a stalker.

"Everything feels strange because it's always a coincidence" grumbled Elin as she headed back to the kitchen.

"Hey, what's wrong with you?" ask Cathy.

"Uhm, it's okay."

"Everything okay?"

"Yeah, all is well," Elin lied. He tried to cover up the gap in his heart regarding Nathan.

"You'll be home in a minute, right? Your work hours will be up at 2. Come on, get ready," Cathy said.

"May I be ready now?"

"Well, of course."

Elin immediately passed and headed towards the place of changing clothes. He's getting ready to go home.

Elin stretched for a moment her sore muscles. He felt very tired. How can he work elsewhere again if in this restaurant alone his energy seems drained?

Elin exits the area a few minutes later and says goodbye to Cathy, Zoya and Pablo who work in the kitchen.

Elin also greeted the chefs who still had to continue their work hours, because not all of them took part-time hours like Elin.

When Elin was completely out of the restaurant, she was again surprised by Nathan who was standing not far from there. This time, Nathan seemed to be waiting for him.

Elin tried to ignore it, he did not like the attitude of Nathan who seemed to approach him.

"You're going home?"

Elin chose silence and continued walking towards the nearest bus stop.

"Sorry, how many times do I have to tell you I don't know if you work at that restaurant."

"Can you shut up?" sulk Elin.

Nathan raised his hand in surrender. "I'm sorry if you're not comfortable with me" he said with regret.

"Yes, it should be."

Nathan smiled at Elin's blunt attitude. He became more interested in the girl.

"Do you want to be my girlfriend?"

"Basic freak. A boy like you better study hard!" elin answered, blatantly poking fun at Nathan.

Nathan laughed again. "You must also be a boy, look at your face" he said.

Elin touched his cheek. He had heard from the people at the Casino that his face looked babyface, but this time Nathan also said it.

"At least I'm older than you" Elin said. Nathan nodded his head.

They arrive at the bus stop and start boarding the vehicle.this time they can seat in the back corner and Nathan immediately occupies the seat beside Elin.

"So you're not willing to be my girlfriend?" ask the young man back.

Elin shook her head faintly, still unexpectedly with Nathan's attitude like this.

"You're a foreigner who suddenly asked me out. That's right!" Said Elin loudly.

"Alright, from now on I will try not to look foreign in your eyes. Who knows then you'd accept my call to a date."

Elin melengos, he chose to use hansfree and ignore Nathan there.

Mostly tired, Elin fell asleep on the bus. And Nathan saw that. The young man smiled and let the unconscious Elin start leaning on his shoulder.

"You're so cute" Nathan murmured praising Elin.

Some time later, the bus stopped at its last stop. This finally woke Elin up. Elin realized that the stop that should be the place to go down had passed, she looked around and realized that Nathan was also sleeping next to her. There was no one else on the bus, just the two of them.

Simultaneously, the bus driver said they had arrived at the last stop and were advised to get off.

Elin nudged Nathan's arm until he woke up.

Nathan rubbed his eyes and found Elin glaring at him.

"Why do you keep near me? Even as I passed the supposed stop, you were also sleeping, huh!"

Nathan seemed to be scanning the surroundings.he realized that they had been noticed last.

"You're too comfortable sleeping on my shoulders, I can't wake you up. Without realizing it, I ended up falling asleep, too" she admitted.

Elin doesn't believe Nathan's words. He got off the bus and passed Nathan's tall body just like that.

When Elin came down, she found something that made her saliva difficult to swallow.

"That's enough playing, Elin. Now it's time to go home!"

There was Javier there with a very unfriendly face, even the man's jaw seemed to harden.

Before long, Nathan also got off the bus and saw that there was a man in a neat suit talking to Elin.

"What's up, Elin? Who's she?" nathan asks who doesn't want Elin to have problems with other people. He wants to help Elin.

"I'M HER HUSBAND'S CANDIDATE." Javier stared at Nathan. "And I'm going to pick him up right now" he said loudly.

Nathan doesn't understand the situation, but he can't possibly believe the words of the man who claims to be Elin's future husband.

"Sister, what the fuck!" Before long, Elin voiced outcry.

"We're home, Elin. Get rid of all this because I won't let you go on."

Elin shook her head. He did not want Javier to force him home, especially he saw the anger that clearly emanated in both of Javier's eyes.

"I don't want to, Brother. This was my choice!"

Javier wants to pull Elin's hand but Nathan's back on his feet.

"Don't force it!"

Javier turned to Nathan and smiled smirk. "It's none of your business" he said coldly.
