38. I'm not happy (Author POV)

Elin was relieved the moment she arrived at her residence. Thankfully he was able to avoid the invitation of the man named Nathan and did not get coercion from him.

Elin thought she had been separated from Nathan the same day, but unfortunately she met him again the next day.

"You're a stalker, huh?" elin to the point.

Nathan did not answer, he only responded to Elin's speech with a smile.

Even so, for some reason there was no fear of Elin's heart toward the young man. Moreover, today Elin saw Nathan wearing his school alma mater.

"You're still in school?" ask Elin at last.

"Yes. Why why?"

"Nothing" said Elin, reneging on her surprise when she realized Nathan was still a senior high school student.

"You don't think I'm still in school, do you?"

Elin finally gave a smile. "Yes, it turns out that the man who was intent on teasing me was a boy," he said bluntly.

Nathan laughed softly. He was happy to see Elin who could finally smile in front of him. "Don't consider me a boy. I'm 17 years old" he said later.

Elin only shook her head faintly and did not answer Nathan's statement.

"Where are you going?" ask Nathan.

"Ah, I have to work," replied Elin bluntly.

Nathan thinned his lips while still equating the steps with Elin.

They arrived at the bus stop and both boarded the public transport.

"Don't follow me around" protested Elin, who saw Nathan standing behind her because they didn't get a seat.

"This is my transition to school" Nathan replied honestly.

Elin only glared when she heard it. At the next bus stop, Elin got off and Nathan waved his hand at the girl.

"Have a nice day, Elin," Nathan cried to Elin.

Now Elin enters the restaurant that will be the place to look for the coffers of money. He listened to his senior briefing and tried to record all the rules given.

"Hi, Elin. I'm Cathy." Another servant appeared to introduce himself to Elin and was welcomed by the girl. Elin thought she needed a friend in a new place.

Elin got a lot of advice from Cathy, including the procedure of serving guests to be considered polite.

Gradually Elin began to get used to her work there.

Elsewhere, Javier can't fall asleep all night due to Elin's absence in his bed. He feels he is dependent on the girl and Elin's decision to leave really affects Javier's life.

Javier takes a long time to calm down and try to fall asleep, unfortunately he always fails. As a result, tonight he was forced to take sleeping pills to be able to rest his body.

Early in the morning, Javier woke up. He felt his body was not good. Javier experienced extraordinary dizziness, he was not used to taking sleeping pills if not in a very forced state.

"If this keeps up, I can get sick worse" Javier lamented, holding his head heavy.

A notification sound from his phone, made Javier reach for the flat object. And when opening it, Javier's body seemed to rebound with a heart that was pounding fast.

It was all because Javier received a message containing an image of Elin walking with a young man. They seemed to fit together as if there was no age gap between the two.

For some reason, Javier's blood was boiling when he saw it, he did not like the news he just received.

"Who is he?" muttered Javier with a thought that wondered. Especially in the photo, Elin and the young man seemed to smile at each other.

Drawn next, Javier sees if Elin and the man are riding the same bus.

Javier is getting less excited, not only because of his body but also because of his bad feelings. Finally Javier told Jack that he could not attend today's meeting. And that's very important. Rather than the meeting was so chaotic because of his chaotic circumstances, it was better for Javier not to attend the important meeting.

By noon, Javier is shocked by Cassandra's arrival to his apartment. Cassie looked at Javier with a look of pity.

"Hi, Jav. I hear you're sick" Cassie said. Cassie knew about it because she was involved in a new business that happened to be discussed today in the meeting, because that was the main purpose of Cassie visiting the country where Javier was located. He's working on a new project by involving Javier in it.

"Don't pity me" Javier replied indifferently.

"That's not what I mean, Jav!" Cassie walks into Javier's apartment and sits on the living room couch. He put down the package he brought. The package contained lunch for Javier, he knew Javier would need it. "Don't feel pitied because I know what it's like to do it the most" he said frankly.

Javier was massaging his temple, he thought he was talking wrongly. Cassie was born with a hereditary heart disease and she was often rushed to the hospital, it also made her regularly take drugs. Remember, his meeting with Elin caused Elin to mistaken him, it happened in the hospital and at that time he was redeeming his medicine accompanied by Javier.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you" Javier said at last.

"It's okay, I'm used to it."

Javier took a long breath.

"Where's Elin?" ask Cassie who doesn't know if Elin's been gone since two days ago.

Javier shook his head in a doldrums.

"What does that mean for your arm?" ask Cassie again. He seemed surprised by the response Javier gave.

"He's gone" said Javier weakly.

"No. No. Don't tell me you're sick like this because it has something to do with Elin's departure."

Javier sniffs his shoulders indifferently.

"Oh, Jav. You're a bo doh once!" furious Cassie. "I warned you!" said loud.

"That's it, it's his own choice."

"What's? And you didn't prevent it?" Cassie raises her hand with Javier's resignation, which looks like she's not trying to defend Elin.

"Do I have to do it?"

"Yeah, you have to!" cassie said steady.

Javier shook his head again while massaging his temple for the umpteenth time.

"If you leave it like this, it's a sign that you're ready to lose it forever. Listen Jav, someone who suits you, loves you, and can overcome your trauma. And you're willing to let him go. Damned so!" as Cassie bluntly.

Javier was getting dizzy with Cassie's speech to the point.

"If you just come to scold me, then go home."

"I'm not scolding you, I want you to be aware of Jav. You love her! You're the bo doh!"

"Come on," said Javier.

"Today I saw that I had no commitment. You're weak, Jav!" Cassie took her bag and got up from her seat, upset with Javier. "I'm home! I don't want to see you until you realize that your actions are wrong!" it's passing by.

Javier let out a long sigh back, he grabbed his phone and looked again at the photo of Elin with the young stranger.

"Are you happy when you're free of me?" it was as if he was talking to Elin.

"Unfortunately I don't, Elin. I didn't calm down when you decided to leave. I'm not happy when you're away" he continued in frustration.
