56. Transaction (POV Author)
On the same day, Elara flew to Berlin to meet Elin in person. He did not go alone, Shane also accompanied the wife because the news about the existence of Elin really surprised those who had thought that Elin had died.
"I remember Shawn. Long ago, my mother and I. .. thought he had died in an accident, but it turns out that the body that burned in his car was not the real Shawn. The journey that is not too time-consuming finally leads Elara and Shane to the residence Letty aka Nathan's grandmother in Berlin. Previously, Nathan had indeed given this address to be visited by Elara.
On the one hand, Nathan has also told his grandmother that there are people who want to redeem Sherin alias Elin from their residence.
In fact, Letty found it a bit strange because usually Nathan was very opposed if Letty intended to give Elin to others. "I'm Elara and this is my husband, Shane." Elara did deliberately not mention the big names of their families with various considerations. He did not want to lose the slightest bit about the meeting today, at least he did not want anything in vain with the arrival of these two married men to his residence.
"Well, of course." Elara who answered with great. "The girl's paralyzed, isn't she?" abugn.
"Yes, he's paralyzed. And he's also careless. A few days ago he even broke my beloved urn. Ah, never mind .. forget about it," said Letty who was constantly blabbering.
Elara took a thin smile then nodded confidently. "How much do we have to pay to make up for it?" tanyakanya.

"You mean?" sergeant Shane doesn't understand Letty's suspicions.

"If we make up for it at a great price, then you have no right to know what we're going to do to the girl" Shane replied ambiguously.
Shane intentionally said so. He did not want to deny Letty's words so that the woman did not suspect, nor did he agree to Letty's guess just to make Letty satisfied. Let Let Let Letty deduce for herself whatever she thinks of them - willing to spend a fortune - only to redeem a crippled slave.
"Well, you're right, sir. If he's already redeemed then it's up to you to use him as what. It's no longer my business."

At this time, Elara and Elin just throw one another face to face with the look of longing because of their position facing each other.
"Waiting Nathan. My granddaughter is coming home from school soon. Coincidentally, Sherin's pretty close to Nathan, I think he'd like to say goodbye." Letty sniffed her shoulder. Although he didn't care much for Elin, he thought about Nathan's feelings. Not Letty did not know if the grandson put his heart on this girl. But Letty certainly would not agree to it because Elin's condition is only a slave, not to mention because in the eyes of Letty–Elin is just a girl who is paralyzed and that makes it very unsuitable for Nathan.
Elara and Shane stared at each other as if asking each other.
"All right, we'll wait. Only 30 minutes. If your granddaughter doesn't return in that time, then we'll leave immediately with Sherin. After all, our transaction is done," broke up Shane who had already written a large nominal money on the check he signed.

"I'm home" said Nathan, who was present and had just opened the door.

Nathan thought, Elara messed around when she said she wanted to see Elin today. The woman is serious, though, in fact, he first arrived at his Grandmother's residence than Nathan who had just arrived after a road trip to return to Berlin– after previously he had time to Hamburg to meet Elara directly.
"You're here, madam?" greet Nathan. Of course he didn't really go to college like his grandmother thought. He just returned from Hamburg.
"Yes" answered Elara briefly.
"Oh, have you talked to Grandma?" Nathan looked at his smiling grandmother holding a piece of check paper.
Seeing the granny's smile, as well as the presence of Elin who was with them in the room, Nathan was able to conclude that their transaction was complete.
"alright. Can I talk to Sherin for a second?" nathan said with a bitter smile.
Soon Elin will be really far from him, although still in the same country, but the journey from Berlin to Hamburg is quite time-consuming if traversed by land. The proof, Elara and Shane first arrived at the grandmother's residence than her, that's what Nathan thought.
"Yes, you can." Elara. "Not more than 15 minutes, sorry because we're going to leave with Sherin soon" he replied.
Nathan nodded in understanding, he took Elin's wheelchair in the opposite direction because he did not want his conversation with Elin to be heard by his grandmother or two guests who came there today.
