45. Dating (Author POV)

Because today is the weekend, Elin took the initiative to take Javier for a walk. A moment they never did together. Is that necessary? Yes, of course, thought Elin.

"Let's wake up, brother, I'm gonna ask you out all day."

Javier clasped his arms back at Elin, but seconds later he seemed to flinch when he realized his girl's desire.

"Dating?"

"Yes, let's go on a date like any other couple."

"I'm too old to do that."

Elin patted Javier's arm. "But I'm not old. I want to feel that way before finally letting go of my bachelorhood by marrying you" she protested.

Javier sighed softly, which Elin said was true and he could not shake it. After all, dating does not hurt and although Javier feels too old to do the activity, but there is no prohibition for him to do it.

"After all, who says you're old. You're not old, brother. Not even 30 years," said Elin who seemed to think later. "Ehm, I'm not wrong, right? How old areyou? God, I don't know the age of my own future husband" he grinned with a giggle.

Javier sat from a position he had previously been lying in. "If I say I'm 45, do you believe me?" candelessly.

Then the next split second Javier kissed Elin's forehead. "I'm still young, I'm 16 years old, honey" he said in an exaggerated voice.

"Sister Elin .." said Javier, winking both eyes.

Elin was getting cackled. "It turns out you can act like this. I don't think you can be silly I'm misperceived" he said.

"Yes, I'm doing this to make you laugh. Are you amused?"

Elin nodded. "Very, thank you" he said.

Javier finally stood up and wanted to head straight for the bathroom to clean himself up first.

"So how old are you, brother?" ask Elin who has not received an answer for sure about it.

Javier glanced over without stopping his steps.

"I'm actually a 70-year-old grandpa who today is going to date a 19-year-old girl" he said, laughing.

Elin clucked her tongue. "The feeling he used to be was a very serious man, why is he being ridiculous like this now?" his gerrick.

Javier and Elin are finally ready for their first date. Javier even wants to use his Ducati bike, so they look more like another young couple.

"Is this how you resist old?" elin's circus as he rides Javier's motorbike.

"Hahaha, I did reject the elder. You know, I'm like an immortal being who will never age" Javier joked.

Elin rolled his eyes panted, even so he was very happy because now Javier is no longer a rigid figure like before. At least, this man wants to joke with him and it makes its own added value for the figure of Javier who is almost perfect in the eyes of Elin.

"Are you a vampire?" Elin chose to serve Javier's words, although he still held amused when saying it.

"Huum, you could say so. Do you want me to suck your blood?" Javier said as he started the engine and they would get out of the basement of the apartment.

"Hahaha, what kind of discussion is this?" Elin's laughter eventually explodes, along with Javier's motorbike hurtling through the highway.

"Where are we going?" javier squealed because his voice was muffled by the magnitude of the sound of his own motor, as well as the boisterous sound of other vehicles.

"I want to eat, watch, eat ice cream and go for a walk" replied Elin who also screeched.

"Is this the risk of dating a child?" javier's Ochre.

"Do you mind? Is this the consequence if I go on a date with Old Father?" the sarcasm replies to Javier's speech.

They both laughed on the way because this discussion was not over yet either.

Actually Javier is happy, because only with Elin, he can be himself. There's nothing to worry about. Nothing to cover up. Javier knows that his choice is not wrong anymore. Elin was the most appropriate girl to accompany him to face the days.

A few dozen minutes drive, finally the motorbike driven by Javier arrived at the largest shopping center in the city center. The plan is they will watch in the cinema inside.

"I want to watch that movie" Elin said, pointing to a romantic film.

"You sure?"

"Can't it?" Elin looked at Javier with her typical hopeful gaze.

"Of course I can. Whatever you ask I will do" said Javier gently.

Of course Elin was immediately excited, even though he thought Javier would refuse to watch such a film, because there are still many other film genres that aired. Horror, action and comedy. Elin thought Javier would turn her over to such films, as Javier agreed to his choice without protesting.

After ordering drinks and popcorn in large sizes, the two entered the studio and sat down next to each other.

The lights of the room began to dim and gradually extinguished. Only leaving the light from the big screen that will immediately play the film they will see.

Javier grasps Elin's fingers while watching a movie that Elin thinks will be fun. Actually Javier is not interested in the film, but for the sake of keeping the feeling of Elin finally he watched it too.

"When was the last time you dated, brother?" asked Elin on the sidelines of their watching activities.

"This is my first" replied Javier.

Elin squealed then laughed softly. "Let's be honest, I want to know about you" he said, a little urgent.

"I'm serious, I haven't dated in 29 years of my life. I was too busy working and wanted to prove to Daddy that I was worthy of being his successor."

Elin looked at Javier seriously, their gazes meeting in such a dim atmosphere. "Don't tell me you've never dated either. I wouldn't believe it," he said.

Javier reviewed a faint smile. "Yeah, I've dated a couple of times. But I've never dated them," he said, slicking his shoulders indifferently.

"That is, until I was abandoned. No one can really understand my work. And before I cut off that boring relationship, those who left me first" he said with a twitch.

"You must have been heartbroken so many times, for being abandoned, Brother," said Elin.

"Not really, because from the beginning I wasn't serious with them. Those who forced me to date, I never said I liked them."

Javier nods. "Yes, but it's just the past and now I have you" she said gratefully.

"Didn't you like me, too?" ask Elin to make sure. "I don't want to be the same fate as those exes you don't consider, you don't date, until they get tired and finally leave you" she said.

Javier laughing. "I'd say I like you every day, always think you're mine, also ask you out until you're bored yourself, and eventually you'll never intend to leave me" she said.

"Am I lucky?" Elin looked at Javier with a smile.

"Yeah, you got everything from me. Even I pawned my feelings for you, so—"

"So?" sela Elin's.

"So .. Don't ever think of leaving me again and forever."

After watching, Javier and Elin walk through the mall to see the latest items.
