Indeed, this feeling has been deeply harbored by Hanzel, where this feeling is always kept secret from anyone, including Zoe herself. Because Hanzel thinks:

”What's the point of telling a personal problem to another person, who is not necessarily the person wants to help his.”

So in other words, Hanzel did not want to be too fond of other people, because he knew that it was a waste. Until now Hanzel was still silent, pensive about something.
