Chapter 997 - What Does it Feel?

Korrina and Brimgard unleashed a single slash that instantly spread a thin thrust that opened a distinct dimensional gap around her, Brimgard trying to unleash a wave of dark matter but his attack hit the illusory body of Korrina.

Korrina began to split herself into back illusions but Brimgard jumped straight back with both her arms and legs protected by dark matter until all that dark matter formed a huge meteor.

Meteor fell on the floor that had no limits to exterminate the entire illusion that was trying to deceive him, Brimgard sensed the existence of Korrina behind him.

"I don't really know your true story, but you have the same feeling, do you?" Ask Brimgard.

"All I need to know is that you are the strongest being in this layer, holding the entire world that exists in this layer to the nickname of the God of the Kountraverse."

"Everything in this layer remembers me to someone I know clearly." Korrina remembered her fake self instantly.

"Aren't you like that too? Are you the strongest living thing in your layer?"

"No, I'm not strong, there are still some people I know who have more power than me."

"Older-old me, their fighting experience is much better than mine." Korrina started burning her right arm just to create a rivet that burned with the fire of heaven.

"Aren't we sharing similarities? I'm old too... I don't even know how old I am? All I remember clearly are the two Ragnaroks I've been through."

"You think that Ragnarok is commonplace?!" Korrina put on an annoyed look then she darted forward until it hit Brimgard's face hard enough to pierce through the dark matter's defenses.

Korrina launched several blows that managed to smash her face but the dark matter regained its wounds until her chest pulled out a sword that pierced her stomach due to the formation of that dark matter.

Korrina leaped back and pulled out the sword, "You with the dark matter that can be manipulated it's pretty annoying..."

"Just like your fucking illusion, Korrina Comi." Brimgard gave rise to a huge body of dark matter that had been manipulated.

Korrina sees Brimgard as having some pretty strong protection now that due to the help of that dark matter, she can also guess that she has not used her powers seriously.

Just like Korrina who was tired of using a lot of strength including the katana, she just wanted to go home and quickly devise a plan to stop Ragnarok.

"If you want to add your strength like that then I won't just lose..."

Brimgard could only smile seriously and then he created more dark matter constructions that attacked Korrina from different directions.

Korrina burned them all with the fire of heaven but the number grew until she was forced to retreat and then jumped all the dark matter using the Sacred blobs that appeared through her two ankles.

All the evasion done by him still makes himself off guard with Brimgard who appears behind him and catches his two arms that are immediately locked.

"Nrgh...!!!"

Brimgard immediately enveloped both of his arms with dark matter until he could feel the pain given by him quite effectively, "Aaagggghhhhhhh...!!!"

Korrina managed to think quickly by jumping up and then launching a kick that burned with the fire of heaven until it hit Brimgard's face and destroyed the armor that protected his head.

"Is that all? You feel like you're accepting Ragnarok if your powers have been withheld..."

"Bas stupid, for years I dug up Kountraverse's information and destroyed something that threatened Touriverse..."

"...do you think you'll recover that soon?" Asked Korrina who looked tired of fighting.

"That means you're stuck with boundaries."

"Yes, because I'm a mortal."

"No, you are a Goddess of Touriverse--" Brimgard frowned when she saw Korrina advancing forward and tried to smash her in the face but she launched a kick that hit her stomach.

"Nrgghhaha!" Brimgard could only laugh to see Korrina easily carried away by emotions when she was considered a Goddess who held Touriverse.

"Never! Calling myself...!!! A Goddess again...!!!" Korrina's loud scream continued to hit her face until she started using the illusion again.

Korrina continued to beat Brimgard several times until her body bounced off in different directions until it slammed into a different timeline due to her enough attacks to open a gap that brought them different dimensions and time flow.

Soon, Brimgard touched his bloodied cheek and fought back until their attacks hit each other and shook different timelines.

Their fight continued quickly until it messed up the space of time, fortunately Brimgard managed to stop it by smashing Korrina in the face until she arrived back in the main groove.

Korrina advanced forward and passed through Brimgard's body only to launch both kicks that hit Brimgard's face several times until he could not move.

His body was restrained with the fire of heaven burning him until he only needed to use the dark matter that could create other constructions.

"Haaarr!!!" Korrina stomped on Brimgard's face hard enough to smash his skull and drop himself on the invisible floor.

Korrina clenched her right arm until the entire aura of the Crimson and Sacred entered her fist until she saw Brimgard unleashing countless dark matter attacks at her.

The dark matter attack hit Korrina's illusory body until Brimgard raised both eyebrows and saw Korrina in front of her with her right arm extended forward.

"VANISH!!!" Korrina put all her strength into Brimgard's body to erase his existence without remaining.

Brimgard could feel an attack so fatal that he instantly gathered all the dark matter in order to survive the attack of an existence wiper.

Korrina saw nothing before her even Brimgard's existence disappeared instantly, she lowered both her arms only to regain her strength, but...

Korrina widened her eyes as her stomach left a large hole when it received a wave attack from Brimgard returning to life with the gathering of dark matter.

"So it's pretty amazing, Korrina Comi. but don't think I'll die just because of the elimination of existence..."

"...I will live as long as I have peaked the higher layers of the Touriverse, even if my history is erased then I will still rise."

Korrina could only put on an annoyed look as she already had no idea what to stop Brimgard from distracting her.

"Maybe it's time for me to properly unleash my power." Brimgard raises two of his knives which he spins and combines them into spears until he grows a cloak of dark matter.

Korrina took out her katana which instantly burned her body with the fire of heaven until her power returned thanks to the help of the weapons she obtained when reaching heaven.

"You want to end now...? After all what will end is that we are with this layer...!!!" Korrina unleashed more of the aura of heaven until Brimgard countered her with the dark matter that managed to compensate for it.

The power that Korrina and Brimgard unleashed was able to trigger a shock between the two layers as they both had just raised that power towards something so powerful.

The shock did not give any effect to the two occupants of the layer, but for those who have felt Ragnarok will know it feels like the shock was a sign of danger as the end for then half the population or possibly more.

"Heaven's Prime!" Korrina held onto the katana tightly and then it sped forward at a speed that could shift towards a different time or dimension.

"Dark Null Matter!" Brimgard held the spear tightly and then it shot forward towards Korrina at the same speed.

At first they thought the attack would hit each other immediately, but the result was slow instantly due to a factor they did not know about...

Shinobu had just finished gathering information from all the Eldritch books she had read, everything was arguably interesting but she already knew the Eldritch that she maintained at this time.

"Eo'syl, then can Koneko call Eo." Shinobu chuckles.

He also knew the ability that Eo'syl could perform, but the book did not explain the freedom that would be given to all layers and singularities to run Ragnarok with everything else.

When his hand touched the plain book, he could see an ancient inscription appearing on the back and front until he could read it easily.

"Rage.. na.. skirt..." Shinobu looked at the writing on the back of the book.

"Bound.. less..."

Out of curiosity to the point of not thinking twice, Shinobu opened the book until her face received a bright light that caused her expression to turn frightened instantly.
