Chapter 4 - With us gone

"Cats...?" Shira began to show a look of confusion when she saw a girl who had a cat's tail and ears, the girl started to approach her bonfire and took the skewer of other fish and she ate it, "Even though I can't get out... At least I can survive by eating and drinking, I know someone's gonna save--" 

The girl suddenly saw Shira who was looking at her with a surprised look, the girl immediately showed a sharp looking expression when she saw Shira, who was looking at her, Shira immediately rounded her eyes when she saw the girl was looking at her with a sharp look, "Ahh...! I'm not an enemy or a lolicon--"

Shira rounded her eyes when she saw a sharp knife touching her neck, "... ...!" Shira immediately rounded her eyes when she saw that because the girl was suddenly behind Shira while threatening Shira with the knife she was holding, "What-What..." Shira suddenly felt something strange as she still saw the girl standing in front of her while looking at her with her sharp gaze, but the one who was showing his knife in front of Shira's neck was the girl he saw in front of him, "Is this an illusion or something...? Is the speed too fast...?"

"Have you come to steal my food...?" Ask the girl until Shira starts to raise her hands while showing a look of confusion, "Why is this girl even focusing on the unimportant thing that is food, she should ask who I really am..."

"If you don't answer then I'll eat you!" Threaten the girl while showing a serious-looking expression, "Are you a cannibal...? I'm just like you, girl. I'm also trapped in a forest that has no way out of this." Shira said while showing a serious look, the girl would of course not be able to believe Shira's words, so she immediately smelled the scent of Shira's body slowly, "K-K-You're doing what the hell...?" Shira asked, her face started to blush when the girl had just smelled a scent from her body.

The girl started to raise her tail because Shira really did not lie, the girl could not feel the scent of Shira coming from the villages where the Legends lived. Suddenly the girl began to stop threatening Shira then both of Shira's eyes saw the girl in front of her starting to walk up to her, "Ehh...?" The girl began to approach Shira and after that began to look at her with an expression that seemed unsure, "Are you an amateur legend...?" Ask the girl.

"It looks so." Shira nodded then the girl started to re-analyze Shira again, the girl started to show a suspicious looking expression, "Hmm..." The girl suddenly saw Shira's watch, she immediately moved her tail slowly because she looked curious when she looked at the watch, "What strange thing is this...?" Ask the girl who started touching the clock using her index finger, "Ahh this is yes, this tool is able to tell us about time--"

The girl suddenly started to bite the clock slowly to feel whether it was delicious or not, "Not good, not food huh...?"

"Not... What do I expect from isekai, hahh...." Shira sighed, "This thing or device is called a watch, so its function is able to tell us about time. Now..." Shira starts to stare at the clock and then she starts to look at the girl who looks curious and her curious face is able to make Shira off guard, "Ughh... Her cute... Twelve o'clock in the afternoon..."

"Ah... Can tell time yes, no use anyway because we can't find a way out using it." Said the girl until she started staring at the wolf that Shira was carrying, when the girl saw the wolf she immediately showed a look of admiration, "Ahh...!!! Three-eyed wolf...!?" The two girls eyes started to twinkle as he looked at the slain wolf, "Hey! How about you give me that wolf then I won't suspect you anymore, Legend!" Said the girl in an excited-sounding tone.

Shira said as she held onto her stomach which suddenly started to make a sound, "Hahaha~ Come on!" the girl began to raise her right arm and it made Shira show a look of carelessness due to the girl's timidity, "I AM NOT LOLICON!!! I'M NOT A LOLICON!!! I'M NOT A LOLICON!!!" Shira kept saying that a few times in her mind.

Shira began to sit on the wood formed like a chair, "Did the girl create this chair out of wood...?" Shira starts looking forward where she sees the girl is fetching water using a glass made of leaves, Shira starts to see the tail of the girl as it moves quickly, "Haha... Is she happy...?"Shira smiled then she started to see the girl glancing towards Shira and started to approach her, "So you are also lost huh... Just like me." Said the girl, she gave the glass made from the leaf to Shira and after that she sat down next to him.

"Thank you and yes... I'm lost, I can't even find a way out..." Shira.

"How many days can you not find a way out of it...?"

"A few hours anyway..."

"Weak, hahaha. I've been lost in this forest for 3 days and I still can't find a way out of it somehow." Saying the girl while showing a serious looking expression, Shira started to show a surprised looking expression and felt sorry for the girl who was lost in this forest, he must be alone and there are no friends or associates to accompany, "Why can you get lost in this place...?" Ask Shira.

"Well... It's a long story, but I got lost in this forest because I was trying to find my family... My father and mother said they were going to a village called Ezlento, a few days ago I was in a village called Gosa and I was trying to find help to get to Ezlento's place." Said the girl, she began to show a look of sadness, "I went with the nobles who took me to this forest and after we arrived inside this huge forest and there was no way out, the nobles disappeared and left me... At that moment, I had just trusted someone I shouldn't have trusted." Said the girl so that Shira could see her tail lying on the ground meant that the girl was sad.

"Ah... Your goal in this forest is to find your family...?"

"Yes, this forest is a deadly forest rumor, a forest called Jugen-o, a lot of Legends that can not come out safely without flying magic. If you can't fly then you can be lost forever in this forest." Said the girl until Shira began to fall silent and looked at the girl's excited face as she looked at the wolf meat that was slowly burning, "By the way, what's your name?" Shira asked who started to show her smile.

"Ryouma Megumi's... You can call me Megumi." Said the girl named Megumi, "You yourself...? What's your name?" Ask Megumi until her tail starts moving again, "Shiratori Shira! You can call me Shira!" The two of them started shaking hands and smiling.

After that Shira and Megumi started eating the grilled wolf meat, "Hmmm~~~~~~" Megumi said as she bit the meat and chewed it slowly, Shira immediately showed a surprised-looking expression again when she saw Megumi, "His Imam...!!! Oh...!!! My sugar level...!!!" Suddenly Shira begins to remember the moment where Megumi could become two, "Megumi..."

"Hmm...?" Megumi asked as she chewed on the wolf meat, "When you stood in front of me and suddenly you threatened me with the knife... Is that magic...? Or illusions...?" Shira asked while showing a serious look, Megumi immediately swallowed the meat she had chewed and smiled, "That was a special technique Neko Legend..."

"The name of the technique is called Phantom-Star, not magic but a fighting technique like that. Well, the other name is Afterimage-Technique. Theoretically, the Phantom Star Technique is a movement that can be done anywhere, you only need to move faster than the eye can see. It's a phenomenon similar to someone moving their hands forward and backward very quickly, and seeing some kind of hand shadow."

"The image itself cannot perform physical tasks, as it fades through everything. Most often, this is used to avoid incoming attacks and get behind the opponent to counterattack. "Neko The Legend is another kind of Legend... What distinguishes it is its appearance which has a cat's tail and ears. Neko Legend also has a sharp ear in hearing and nose that is able to smell any scent including the scent of the enemy, earlier I kissed your body because I tried to examine you. Whether you were with the noble earlier or not and it wasn't because your scent smelled so strange."

Shira began to stare at Megumi's fast-moving tail, "Curious..." Shouted Megumi with a reddened face, Shira immediately looked at her right palm and after that she began to show a look that looked a sinless face, "YES..!!! TURNS OUT SOFT...!!! M-Sorry, I'm just curious." Shira started to chuckle softly.

"If you're curious then you just have to say, if you've rubbed my tail then I could have been pregnant... My tail is my weakness when touched by a man... Every time I fight someone, I always set my tail like a belt." Megumi said that until Shira started to show an innocent-looking expression, she was currently actually happy to be able to touch the tail of a half-cat girl, "Since you have given me this delicious wolf meat then I will allow you to rub my head..." Said Megumi who was starting to approach Shira.

"Ehh...? Are you serious!?" Shira asked while showing a surprised look, Megumi could only nod and Shira started rubbing Megumi's head, "Uhh..." Megumi began to raise her tail and after that she moved it left and right, Shira rounded her eyes when she saw the behavior of Megumi who looked like a cat combined with the term loli, "IT'S...!!! JESUS...!!!" 

Shira tries to rub both Megumi's ears, but Megumi instantly fends off Shira's right hand upwards which means Shira's time to wipe her is over, "Already, I didn't tell you to wipe that part." Megumi said while showing a serious look, Shira could still see Megumi's tail moving left and right, "She still wanted to be wiped..."

"Enterprise..."

"What...?"

"We better find a way out than to live in this forest, I also actually want to find a way out of this forest, it's possible that Ezlento City was near us after we made it out of this strange forest." Said Shira who tried to take Megumi away from the forest, Megumi looked at Shira then she nodded, "Hm! I'm coming, actually I can smell someone's footprints and I can also get out of this forest quickly, but..."

"I need someone who can help me defeat a powerful monster." Megumi said to Shira immediately smiling, "I can help of course." Shira said until she started drinking the water contained in the glass of leaves, she still did not drink the water because she focused on the conversation and delicious food that Megumi made.

"Thank God, then... Let's go together, Shira---"

"Eh...? How does the water feel fresh, right...?" Shira asked as she had just tasted the water quite fresh, what she expected from the water was salty but it turned out that the water was fresh and enough to make Shira's throat feel a delicious sensation, "Of course it's fresh, I picked it up in that river that keeps flowing." Said Megumi who began to point to the river on her right, the river was the river that Shira had been drinking and also she had used the water to wash her face.

Shira immediately rounded her eyes until she began to tremble in fear, even she started to hold the glass with a trembling hand, "Shira...?"

"Water that river...? T-That means...!" Shira began to show a look of fear, "M-M-Megumi, where do you usually pee...?" Shira asked, Megumi started raising her right eyebrow, "Umm... A few minutes ago I was peeing in that flowing river, yeah... Naturally, the water will not be dirty because the river continues to flow like a waterfall." Megumi.

"J-Don't...!? W-Water that I drank that time was..." Shira starts to look at Megumi who looks confused because she sees Shira's expression that looks strange and frightened, "...MEGUMI'S URINE!?"
