Chapter 160 - More Worthy of You

Megumi and Homuze began to exchange attacks, each claw that was illuminated with a golden light was able to injure Homuze's body several times leaving claw wounds that emitted a golden light. Megumi made a forward salto and managed to swing both of her hands simultaneously until she slashed at Homuze's body and pushed herself backwards.

"Grghhhh...!!! You're a pest...!!!" Homuze unleashed several fireballs using his fingers, Megumi dodged all of those attacks by striking him back using both his fists and tail.

"The pest must be you, how dare you approach the side of the Eternal Shira... All that Shira's belong to me, now you will pay for it with blood that will dirty my claws...!!!" Megumi looked at Homuze getting sharper, their light and fire magic started to fuse together to create a light that was enveloped with flames.

"With this you will I turn into meat that I can eat...!!! The Shining Eclipse Claw...!!!" Using the magic passed down by Shira, Megumi can absorb the light of the solar eclipse and channel it into her two claws that are enveloped with black light.

Hearing Homuze's words where he had sex with Shira made Megumi's anger and annoyance grow bigger until finally with a blind attack he did to be able to make Homuze not look down on him because of the proportion of the body that looks like a child.

"Yahhhhhhh...!!!!! I kill you...!!! I kill you...!!! I kill you...!!!" Megumi's teeth began to grow sharp, Homuze was shocked when he saw her who turned into a beast now that would soon kill and eat her.

Megumi who shouted with all her might while repeatedly clawing at Homuze's entire body many times and looked like it was causing a golden-coloured wind and light that blew and released irregularly even fresh blood out of Homuze's body soiled Megumi's face that Megumi looked like a beast thirsty for blood.

"What strength and speed is this...?! How can Megumi who is in this original dimension have a power that is much stronger than me...!? N-No way..." Homuze reveals that he tried to unleash his fire magic but Megumi's tail absorbed all of his magic.

Although thousands of stabs pierced Homuze's body but he looked like he was enjoying the pain, the pain would only make him a descendant of Mortem, so he had an ancient magic named [Crimson] that, he was, turning pain into strength. Homuze managed to counterattack by hitting Megumi in the face.

Homuze clasped tightly onto his tail then twisted his body many times until it burned Megumi's body using his black flames which could be referred to as [Molten Flames], Megumi tried to endure all the pain by calming her mind but Homuze flew up and threw her down and continued with a wave of black flames.

"Grghghhh...!!! Ahhhhhhhh...!!!" Megumi shouted loudly towards the wave until the wave was thrown in another direction due to the push from Megumi's roar.

"Kc... It seemed like the fight against a Legendary Neko would indeed be troublesome. Your ability to use your anger as a source of excessive force is enough to make this fight even more annoying..." Both of Homuze's arms burned with black flames, he began to dodge all of Megumi's attacks several times by turning his body into fire.

"Even if your anger is out of control, your ability can turn that anger into intelligence and power... Intelligence only in combat and strategy, can I say it's pretty amazing-" Homuze lowered his head successfully dodging Megumi's claw attack which almost slashed his neck.

"It seems that it is your ability to dub yourself as a race of Legends that is quite dangerous if your anger rises and reaches the highest level... [Neko's Fury], it seems like an ability that would lead me to the pit of defeat if I didn't stop you quickly...!!!" Homuze flew up and released several black fire meteors that chased after Megumi.

"Grghghhh...!!!" Megumi's entire claw began to grow longer and sharper, she jumped all the meteors and released the claws that shot towards Homuze until it pierced her right shoulder.

"Q...!" Homuze created two katanas made of black flames, the two of them darting towards each other and exchanging attacks that created an echoing sound. Homuze was unable to catch up to Megumi's speed until he was hit by his attacks several times and left himself bleeding quite heavily.

They retreated backwards and launched an equally large wave at each other until the two waves of magic continued to collide and push against each other. Megumi and Homuze went into the clashing waves and exchanged attacks that caused them to be thrown backwards.

"Huh. huh.... huh..." Homuze and Megumi both looked exhausted, in contrast to Shiro and Arata who were currently still fighting and causing a lot of destruction around him, Homuze felt unsure that he would actually win against Megumi.

"Now... I better understand why this dimensional Shira prefers you... Megumi's... You have a great and great spirit, different from my dimension... You disappeared somewhere until certain people who only realized it..." Homuze.

"Don't equate the real with the fake... Shira as a whole is mine, you don't deserve her the slightest...!!!" Megumi began to raise her anger level towards the mysterious peak, she turned into a huge beast and had golden feathers.

Homuze counteracts his fear by exerting all of his fire magic towards Megumi, any magic that hits Megumi's body is unable to injure her because her golden body is immune with a few attacks. The waves of Shiromura Eclipse that she just released were unable to make Megumi feel any pain as she ate all those waves.

"...Not likely... You're kidding, aren't you...!? You won't be able to control that form...!!!" 

Homuze who had just spoken seemed to feel that something bad would happen to him, at that time Megumi did not answer the words of the girl who was in front of him, Megumi can completely control the form but her anger rules her to finish the fight against Homuze.

With a body that continued to tremble, Homuze launched several attacks towards Megumi until he felt nothing. The attack given by Homuze felt like an ant bite and it only made Megumi roar even harder until Homuze's body was hit by Megumi's tail attack which felt very painful.

The tail attack was able to make the bones inside her crack, Megumi continued the tail attack by moving both of her arms while rotating in space, it caused the space to tremble and made Homuze spew out an awful lot of blood.

Homuze's body was filled with slashing and scratching wounds caused by Megumi, he could no longer fight but kneel on the sky. Other attacks begin to be unleashed by Megumi until some of Homuze's skin begins to peel off and blood flows out of his body.

Megumi continued to give herself painful torment until Homuze had no other choice but to accept the attack with a calm looking expression, the smile began to show Megumi until she changed back to her original form when she saw the smile that looks sincere.

"You... Why did you suddenly stop fighting...?" Megumi asked with a puzzled expression.

"It's useless to continue.... isn't it...? This fight is just to determine who is more deserving to have Shira, you've exceeded me in any way... No one likes me because I am *****, different from you... You're that little... Like a child..." Homuze replied with his cynical smile.

"What do you mean by a child...!? I am a mother now...!!!" Megumi replied with both ears and a rising tail, her face also started to blush when Homuze had just called himself a child.

"More we're stopping this fight... I gave up, I left my pride as a Legend for giving up against someone much stronger than me... After all, I just want a complete break from this conflict-filled world..." Homuze looked up while showing his little smile.

Megumi could see that Homuze's body was starting to recover, she was still feeling alert near Homuze because it could have been a trap that she would make with her good attitude. Megumi was shocked when Homuze poured all his power and magic into Megumi's body until she was enveloped with flames that gave her strength.

"I don't understand the mind patterns of races like yours... Eternally... Why are you doing all this...? In the end you'll just give up and give up everything to me..."

"Hehh... I'm doing this for the best, you better thank me for exerting all my power and magic on you... Now you can learn fire magic that you can perfect."

"You are stupid..."

"No need to help me... Remember this, Megumi... Everything has its own mystery... Eternals like me shouldn't live forever. I just have to hope that you will meet my real self that is Homura... You're gonna have fun fighting with him...." Homuze breathed his last and died with a smile on his face.

"... ..." Megumi closed her eyes and gave Homuze a salute to show her respect as she thoroughly enjoyed her fight, after saluting... Megumi instantly burned Homuze's body so that he could live quietly in the world of death.
