Chapter 309 - Failing, We do another day

Minami and the others as usual returned to the living room to continue their sleep, Okaho does not forget to tell them that the spirits and ghosts they see are only Kou's friends whom she calls as she is impatient with her birthday party tomorrow. The Astral Race can sometimes be terrible but they will certainly forgive Kou because he made an unintentional mistake.

When they arrive back at the top floor, Okaho has another perfect plan: scare Rokuro, Asriel, Mitsuki, and Marie. Surely this plan will run quite fun so Hana patted him on the face because Okaho had wanted to sleep but now he felt excited because he wanted to scare them, Minami herself interfered while showing an expression that looked interested.

"Fearing four people it's going to be quite difficult, nya. What if we scare them all directly? Can you change the size of your body, Kou?" Okaho looked at Minami with a surprised expression, he had just given her a pretty great idea as well so Kou nodded as he could. Kou turns into a ghost that is as big as the room so they can all see Kou.

Minami and Okaho clapped their hands together because the plan they had in mind was really great so they couldn't wait to see their reaction, Okaho went to the window because in the middle of the night like this it was still raining and the rain was getting bigger in addition to the storm, he opened the window and saw lightning that was striking a tree. Okaho pointed at the ceiling using his index finger and then he changed the reality where the lightning that would strike something must have been the sound of a loud sound that woke them up.

Minami tells Kou to get ready and he is fully ready so Okaho clenches her right hand and lightning strikes the tree, causing a loud noise. They all woke up with bodies that were reflexively due to hearing that enormous lightning, they looked forward and saw Kou who was trying to scare them. Their reaction was not expected by Okaho and Minami as they did not pay much heed to him.

"W-What...?" Okaho widened her eyes and she saw Mitsuki, Marie, Asriel, and Rokuro who went back to sleep with a calm expression. Somehow their plan suddenly failed like that because the two of them were already preparing to laugh out loud seeing them scared but the expression was even flat when they saw Kou.

Kou turned back into his usual form then he looked at Okaho while shaking his head that he did not see any reaction happening but rather they just woke up to ascertain what the sound was, what it was, when they found out the sound was coming from the lightning, they went back to sleep as usual.

"Give up. It seems like my brother Rokuro doesn't feel afraid of subtle creatures." Hana said as she chuckled, she lay back on the carpet and wrapped herself in a blanket because her eyes were heavy. Okaho sighed full of disappointment, he immediately told Minami and Kou to go to bed because tomorrow is a special day for all of us especially Kou who is impatient.

Minami lay down next to Okaho, her expression looking very disappointed as she wanted to see Asriel and Rokuro frightened as they were men, seeing a frightened man might be pleasant, "Unfair, not fair, how can they not be surprised when they see a ghost as big as this room. The point is I'm gonna figure out a way to scare them, nya."

"Here you go, they were like that from the beginning, right? Most likely Asriel and Rokuro are not afraid of ghosts while Mitsuki and Marie, they themselves may have been used to seeing ghosts because of Yuuna who has spirit magic... but what you said just got me interested because I wanted to see them freaked out too." Okaho smiled slightly as she closed her eyes.

"Then we try to gradually start from now on, nyaaa..." Minami closed her eyes, they all went back to sleep dreaming of something fun. Kou saw all those who had fallen asleep and he immediately approached Korrina's room for sleep, he was looking forward to his birthday tomorrow.

At [05:40], the rain seemed to have stopped because Okaho himself stopped him, the sound of his lightning was too disturbing that he accidentally woke up again due to the sound of lightning and a very large rainstorm. They were still sleeping but Korrina suddenly felt disturbed as someone moved her body, she slowly opened her two eyes then saw a face that was quite dark perhaps because her bedroom was completely dark.

"POCOOOOOONGGG...!!!!" Korrina screamed so loudly that she jumped backwards and hit the closet behind her, he said, the feeling he was not sleeping with bolts but the monstrous creature he saw looked so exactly like a pocong that the pocong got up and approached Korrina, "Kyaaahhhh!!! Don't come any closer...!!! Don't come any closer...!!!" Korrina closed her eyes, her scream was able to wake up all the people in her house, especially her neighbors because she screamed louder than a lightning strike.

Okaho heard the voice so she smiled lightly that Korrina was exposed to deceit with the form of Kou change that always changes uncontrollably at night, now it can still be called as night and Kou is still in his Astral form, he will return when the time hits six. Okaho came to Korrina's room and saw Korrina who was closing her eyes, Kou who had returned to her original form tried to touch her but Korrina did not want to open her eyes.

"Mama, open your eyes. She's not a pocong but a Kou." Okaho said, Korrina heard Okaho's voice, she slowly opened her eyes and saw Kou who was bowing her head with an expression that looked sad because she accidentally scared Korrina, "K-Kou...?"

Kou took out a virtual screen that said, 'Mama is afraid of Kou ya... Sorry, it seems Kou forgot to appear as a child Mama is so cute.' Korrina widens her eyes as she remembers that Kou will turn into a ghoul and a terrible creature at night, especially when she sleeps so she is unaware that she has changed.

Korrina hugged Kou tightly, "Sorry.Mama was really scared of the creature covered with white cloth.Next time you have to remember about your Astral form yes, dear..." Kou smiled widely then he nodded quickly, he pointed at the wall clock and then he jumped full of enthusiasm because he could not wait to celebrate the party, Korrina looked at the wall clock and then she smiled, maybe it's time to prepare for the party now.

"What's there, the enemy, his!?" Minami walked into the room with a serious expression, she looked at Kou and Korrina, "Today you've been making a fuss, Minami." Okaho approaches the living room again, she sees her friends are up and their expressions look worried at first but Okaho explains to them that Kou accidentally scared her.

"If it's not wrong, you guys tried yesterday to scare us too huh? I saw a huge ghost right in front of me. It was huge but a pity yes, I'm not afraid of the name ghost." Asriel said, Okaho and Minami looked at each other with expressions that looked disappointed, at least they could still try another day to scare the two of them.

Hana approached Haruka who was sitting in a wheelchair, she gave herself a small hug so that Haruka could feel happy and calm today, "Haruka, good morning... I hope you rest in peace today, soon we'll be celebrating your little sister's birthday, you should come along."

They all looked at Hana and Haruka with expressions that looked sad, somehow the party without Haruka did have a feeling that was lacking and missing. They just need to wait and wait to return Haruka.
