Chapter 113 - An equally Great Ego

Mortem and Shiro begin to exchange attacks, this time each attack they are able to hit their own target. Shiro stared intently at Mortem, trying to make himself blind but he soon used his illusionary magic which Shiro was able to confuse he had to attack Mortem which was where.

His vision began to show Mortem's growing number, even though he had managed to defeat the illusion... Shiro could not touch even regarding his attack on Mortem as each of his attacks suddenly penetrated Mortem's body and gave himself a power far more devastating than before.

It looks like Mortem's experience this time began to be extensive thanks to the fight he had experienced and also the defeat he had felt. What Shiro expected when he unleashed a fist filled with full force was that the two of them would clash with each other but not because Mortem's fist pierced Shiro's fist until his fist hit Shiro's face.

"What...!?" Shiro pushed back.

"Where was your confidence and your big ego, Shiro...? Is this all you have!?" Mortem released a huge push through both of his fists, making Shiro bounce several kilometers back.

"Shiromura...!!! Eclipse...!!!" Shiro unleashed a wave of black light through his palms, Mortem flew forward into the wave and then he jumped out of it, making Shiro shocked until his face was kicked by Mortem.

Mortem darted forward, hurling several blows at Shiro until he was not given any chance to attack, he had already used all of his solar eclipse magic to Mortem but all of that magic penetrated his body and instead gave himself even greater power thanks to the ability of pain that turned into a source of power.

Shiro began to change his plans now, he began to persevere while jumping backwards continuously as Mortem chased after him while releasing some fist aura that was able to make himself continue to be pushed far back. Mortem's sight was able to help him thanks to the Sacred Illusion magic that can detect gaps and attacks capable of making Shiro hurt.

Shiro created several shields made of black light as well as a colossal wall to hold Mortem's way, Mortem could only smile and he immediately created a small ball of Crimson through the palm of his right hand and then he threw it forward until the ball was enlarged and absorbed all the black light until it made Shiro cold sweats.

"Q...!!! Shit...!"

The small ball suddenly began to form Mortem's body which was currently in front of Shiro, it left him dumbfounded as he began to be overwhelmed with Mortem's ancient magic abilities and his illusions that could be an invincible combination.

"Crimson Buster's...!" Mortem's right fist released a stinging Crimson aura until his fist burned with red flames, the attack Mortem launched directly hit Shiro's stomach until a Crimson wave emerged from Shiro's back and shot up into the sky.

"Acccckkk...!" Shiro spewed out quite a lot of blood.

"Thank you to me... Kneel to me as I am currently trying to awaken your Legend's Boost so that you can continue to grow stronger!" Mortem said while showing his sadistic expression.

Mortem pointed at Shiro's stomach using his index finger until he was stung with Crimson magic that burned his body cells, Shiro could no longer resist the impulse released from Mortem's body, but he could no longer resist the impulse released from his body, he bounced back with fresh blood flowing out from within his body.

Mortem swung both of his arms simultaneously so that he released the Crimson dimensional hemisphere that shot towards Shiro, leaving him with a slash of the Crimson dimension, the dimensional hemispheres were formed like crystals and spines that had a red color mixed with blackness around him.

 "Donan-hhh..." Mortem was impressed when he saw his new abilities and magic, thanks to Shiro who had given him a lot of pain and all the enemies who had given him pain were able to give Mortem a pretty good result where he could now use the dimensional hemisphere to attack.

"There is no such thing as "good or great power." Whatever you call it, all power comes from violence and a willingness to use it...!" Mortem stabbed forward until his palm entered into a dimension, it made him surprised.

"Hehhh... Haha...! Ahahaha...!!! Looks like I've stepped on a new peak huh...? I now have the ability to manipulate space freely and be able to teleport or tear apart gaps in fact, it seems like I can attack you by manipulating free space or any dimension I want...!" Mortem's sadistic look at Shiro who's upsetting him.

The lunar eclipse that was in the air began to emit a black light that increased gravity, Mortem did not feel any change because he was already at the peak of higher than Shiro. The eclipse immediately released a large wave of black light towards Mortem along with Shiro which released two black waves through his palms.

The black wave penetrated Mortem's body and gave himself an even more powerful force.

Mortem had total mastery of spatial manipulation and could even reverse the world. He broke and tore the gap in reality and molded it as a laser in a more efficient and dangerous form.

Shiro widened his eyes when he saw the myriad dimensions that were opening around him, all those dimensions could be called as reality that had already been broken or torn, Mortem turned all those dimensions into a laser shape capable of making Shiro immediately pushed back.

"What ability is this...!? This must be your illusion again...!" Shiro said annoyedly.

"W-What...!?"

Shiro began to release a large amount of black light around him, forcing his body to endure all the pain until his two fists began to be enveloped with a black light, Shiro began to launch a series of attacks that were able to destroy the dimensional pieces and make Mortem pushed back.

"Keep trying...!" Mortem shouted loudly until his voice began to echo in the region.

Mortem used his teleportation magic to appear floating in the air. He then sliced through the air, opening up the void of the sword-shaped Crimson magic that released a huge blood red beam directly onto his enemy. He did this a second time, making sure the attack landed. His range was incredible and was able to reach from the point where he stood almost across the entire battle area.

"Dimensional Crimson Sword!" Mortem called out his magic name.

Shiro's body was pierced with that sword, he spewed fresh blood from within his mouth. A few seconds later the sword began to break into Crimson particles. Mortem stared at Shiro who looked in pain that he was starting to weaken but continued to rise thanks to the solar eclipse that was above the sky that gave him more strength until Shiro restored to perfection.

Shiro began to increase his speed at which he now darted forward towards Mortem and surrounded him, he launched a barrage of black light that allowed Mortem to feel pain far more painful than before.

"Hohhhhhhhhhhh... May also, your Legend's Boost seems to lift you to a different peak now..."

"But all of this will end with one last attack of mine...!!!"

Exerting all the strength he had through his pain, Mortem exclaimed loudly, "Dimensional Crimson Heavenly Arrow...!"

Mortem raised both his hands to his chest, before thrusting him aside. While doing this, several gaps from outer space appeared around Shiro and released a sword-like red object into it, piercing him from various angles and torturing him with great pain.

"It's not enough...!!!" Mortem began to laugh very sadistically at Shiro's screams that began to echo, he could no longer defend or attack Mortem because his entire body was currently hit by a stab by Mortem's magic.

Mortem summoned several other Crimson dimensional slits around the area in front of him. He stretched his hand to the side, all the dimensions of the cracks began to bombard the area with red explosions. He then clenched his hands, summoning the four great swords to pierce the remaining remnants.

"Youngpggghhhhh...!!!" Shouted Shiro in pain.

"It's not enough....!!!" Mortem appeared before Shiro.

Mortem summoned numerous large Crimson red swords in a circular formation, the center of which contained the same symbol in his eyes that was the symbol of Crimson magic. He then flew upside down on it, before releasing a huge burst of energy, causing the sword to disappear.

"Dimensional Crimson Judgement...!" Mortem Exclamation.

Baaaaammmmmmmmm...!!!!

Mortem began to appear above the air as he watched Shiro fall helplessly from the thick puff of smoke with his charred smoky body and mouth agape unconscious, his entire body was also filled with red-colored wounds that emitted Crimson light as well as some Crimson symbols that appeared around his body.

Shiro is defeated with Mortem's new abilities, he fell to the ground and could not fight back because the solar eclipse in the air began to disappear into black light particles that entered back into Shiro's body.

"Hmphc... Weak...! You're trying to kill anyone with weak abilities and the big talk of your ego...!?"

"...No kidding!!!"
