Chapter 98 - Different Levels

While lying on the ground, Arata slowly forced his body to wake up so that he could see Yusa who was currently still unconscious. Arata looked at the demon with a serious look then he started drifting and planned to leave because he had to leave immediately and catch up with Kizura before they left him alone.

"Looks like you're holding on pretty well..." There was a man who started talking behind Arata and it made him immediately call back his sword of anger and throw it towards the man.

"Whoa..." Quickly the man dodged the sword attack that was spinning towards his direction, Arata looked at the man's face and his face did not look so unfamiliar as he had seen it.

"It turns out you... Haruki Shichiro..." 

It turns out that the man who spoke earlier was a Legend named Haruki, himself equally trapped in the universe of Zuusuatouri. Fortunately Haruki came in time, he immediately bandaged Arata's wounds and recovered them slowly, Arata could not fight for a while because he needed a full rest that could recover his entire body.

"Did that demonic ambush drag you into the Zuusuatouri universe...?" Ask Arata.

"That's how, fortunately I know a demon who has no destiny like the one you fought. He did not side with Rxeonal along with his illogical plan. The demon I was referring to was named Vier, he was currently gathering a lot of demons who were eager to stop Rxeonal's actions that had exceeded the limit." Answer Haruki.

Arata and Haruki could feel some pointy bones starting to float behind them, those pointy bones numbered in the millions and they could feel the existence of a demon that was as powerful as Yusa. Haruki glanced back and pulled out his two swords and then carried out a barrage of attacks to destroy all the bones.

"Deliver this one elite Rxeonal army to me..." Haruki can tell the demon that attacked him because he had met him with Vier.

"It seems I really need to rest first..." Arata nodded.

Haruki destroyed all the attacks of those thorny bones that surrounded him with Arata, fortunately Haruki used his ability named [Cavalries of the Thousand Blade Strike] where he made a thousand-slash attack that was able to destroy all the pointed bones until it ran out.

Haruki advanced towards the demon while launching several attacks towards all of the pointed bones, as it got closer Haruki canceled the demonic magic attack by throwing his sword but the Devil jumped and managed to avoid his attack.

"You were good at escaping, but now you want to fight me yeah, the Legend parasite..." The devil began to speak.

"Zaiken...? Is that your name, it seems I already have no intention of escaping since this place will soon be your grave." Haruki pulls back the sword he threw and after that he starts preparing to fight to the death against a demon named Zaiken.

"It seems that your one friend can defeat a demon who has created a lot of history in this universe, I was quite impressed but... once I have defeated you then I will exhaust the Legend that is currently resting." Zaiken smiled very wickedly, his two fists began to be enveloped with extremely rough hard bones.

Zaiken launched a huge push towards Haruki, he was exposed to the impulse until he was dragged backwards trying to control the balance of his disturbed body. Both of Haruki's legs started to get trapped inside the hard bones that could not be destroyed easily, Haruki's entire body released a negative aura that was able to make the bones turn into black dust.

Haruki stomped his feet and made the ploughed land directly emit lava water, he moved forward towards Zaiken and launched several attacks. Fortunately Zaiken welcomed back the attack until they began exchanging attacks without any attacks hitting themselves.

Their weapons kept clashing, but all that changed when Haruka used her sword ability again. [Blade of Downfall], he used the ability to thwart Zaiken's attack that almost hit himself, but he did not, in the end Haruki was the first to be able to injure Zaiken by slashing his body and then kicking him backwards.

After that Haruki used another ability called [Suppressed Blade Shot] where he shot his sword blade by suppressing the sound of his shot slashing, which was the sound of his shooting, the firing blade was able to pierce Zaiken's body until blood began to flow out of his scar.

"You're not bad either, parasite..."

"It is not me who is bad but your way of fighting is bad, why did the king choose you to become an elite army if your abilities are this trash..." Ejek Haruki's.

When Zaiken tried to attack, Haruki appeared in front of him and slammed into his stomach using a magic called [White Hole] until Zaiken was dragged several meters back. Fortunately Haruki used a small [White Hole], if he used a large one then Zaiken would definitely be up to the rear until returning to the Rxeonal palace.

Haruki didn't waste his [White Hole] chance, either, he immediately appeared in front of Zaiken and attacked him all out using his two swords moving fast enough that he had time to use two abilities simultaneously namely [Blade of Downfall] and [Cavalries the Thousand Blade Strike].

Zaiken could not do anything even he did not have time to show his ability to Haruki, he began to experience considerable bleeding around his body, Haruki did not want to play around with his enemy let alone the demon race that could grow stronger in every fight continued.

Zaiken manages to break free from Haruki's painful attack by kicking his stomach until Haruki is pushed back, Zaiken launches a large tree made of bones, which is a huge tree, trying to stab Haruki's entire body with the tree. Haruki could feel the magic, he immediately flew up and launched five large, red magic balls.

The magic balls instantly shattered the bone tree, leaving Zaiken stunned as Haruki's instincts were as sensitive as the demons. Haruki flew towards Zaiken and Zaiken immediately created some thick walls made of bones, those walls would not stop Haruki as he immediately carried out nine attacks that ignored any defenses, no matter what, the name of that ability was [Ravaging Pierce].

"Basic stubbornness...! Why is a Legend like you not tired of having done all the sword-like skills - Uwagggghhh...!!!" Haruki slashed his face, causing Zaiken to bounce back and lay on the ground.

"Actually I want to finish you off, demon... But I know so much about you from a demon I know, it seems like punishment hasn't treated you right yet huh..." Haruki thought of having fun before leaving the territory with Arata.

Haruki stomped on Zaiken's stomach deep enough and he immediately struck both of his arms using his sword knob which was hard enough to make Zaiken's bones shatter. Zaiken screamed in pain as his bones crumbled as Haruki slowly tortured him until his mouth was entered by gunpowder that could make him explode.

Arata did not expect to see an innocent Legend like Haruki being able to perform painful torture, Yusa woke up instantly to the sound of Zaiken's extremely loud scream. Yusa tries to get up and see her comrade being severely tortured by Haruki.

"Zaiken...?"

Haruki raised both of his arms and smashed Zaiken's skull using both of his sword knobs until Zaiken shouted an extremely loud voice. Haruki smiled wickedly at Zaiken's screams that echoed around the region until he could feel the presence of other demons coming towards the region to help Zaiken and Yusa.

Haruki whirled both of his swords then released both of Zaiken's hands from his body by stabbing him using both of his sword blades. Haruki put his two swords back in his sheath and he strangled Zaiken's neck and his face looked terrified as the torture was traumatizing.

"Does it hurt...? Ahh, you must have gotten used to it because you've done it to every demon or race you've ever met." Haruki throws Zaiken towards Yusa.

ZBASSSHHH!!!

A demon that had three horns appeared and raised Zaiken's body, Arata and Haruki widened his eyes when he saw the incoming demon look like a Legend they knew.

"It's not him..." Arata started talking.

"...the ramen man...?" Haruki looked confused.

"Weak." The demon threw Zaiken towards Yusa so that they both lay on the ground, unable to move their bodies due to the exhausted energy.

"I'll take care of it here, prepare you parasites to feel the devil's deadly blow..."

"...Souya Naoki!" Both of Naoki's eyes emitted a darkness that was able to make Arata and Haruki's bodies goosebumps.
