Chapter 79 - Identity

The mysterious girl flew towards the land and immediately created millions of portals above the sky where all the portals took out chains that could bind the entire army including Shinku. Ancient magic [Void] could include ancient magic which was extremely advantageous if one could control it easily, the girl could already fully control her own ancient magic which meant that she would never get too much negative effects.

The entire chain was named [Chening Voids], chains that could absorb magic, power or all the attributes that the enemy's body possessed. Shinku was annoyed that his Crimson aura was being absorbed by the chains that bound himself, all the attributes that the girl was absorbing could use as power or magic imitation. The girl had already obtained a large supply of Crimson magic within her body thanks to those chains.

"What are you...? How can a mortal demon like you be able to use the ancient magic of [Void] with complete control...?" Ask Shinku.

"Even mortals can defeat gods if they work hard enough. What...? Do you look at the demon nation like me lowly...? Remember yes, not all mortal demon nations are lowly because I am different from them." The girl begins to lift Alvin's body using a chain that appears behind his back, the chain twists Alvin's body and lifts him up.

Shinku and his troops saw the girl who started removing her cloak, they were surprised because there was a Crimson aura protecting her body. Now that Shinku knows the reason why a demon like himself can infiltrate the Crimson region, the girl takes out both of her katanas from her scabbard. With the two katanas already drawn, the girl stared intently at the entire army.

"I am Oni Selvia... I came just to practice and find a way out." The mysterious girl introduced herself by the name [Oni Selvia].

None of the troops dared to move first because the two katanas held by Selvia looked scary enough that one of them was sweating profusely. Shinku himself was surprised because the troops gathered with him are still at a low level while the high level troops are carrying out such an important mission.

Shinku immediately ordered his entire army to advance and he immediately fled the place because he did not want to deal with a demon with deadly ancient magic. Selvia could only smile cynically looking at those who would rather die than give Selvia with Alvin a way out.

Just swinging his two katanas in the opposite manner was able to unleash a huge push that caused the entire army to split into small pieces of flesh, all that blood began to fall like rain making the whole body of Selvia soiled with blood. The other troops retreated and summoned a stronger army making Selvia immediately fly up into the sky dodging the attack of Crimson magic which could make her body melt.

As Selvia tried to dodge all the lasers, a long, red tail attacked Selvia, injuring her cheek, the tail left a southerly wound large enough that it let out blood that was rushing down. This was the first time Selvia could feel such a stinging pain as the entire blood inside her body felt like it was burning.

Selvia sought a safer place, where she flew towards the land and pulled out hundreds of chains that bound the entire army. Shinku smiled evilly looking at some chains that tried to bind him but could not because currently Shinku was holding a magic book that pulled out that tail, he said, the tail instantly destroyed Selvia's chain with a single strike.

"Today I can feel this kind of pain... Is this the original power of the ancient magic of Crimson...? Distinct from the Master's ability..." Selvia wiped the blood on her cheek, but it kept flowing out.

Selvia glared when she saw Shinku who pointed at her using a wide open book, the book pulled out more red tails that were also bigger to make Selvia could not go anywhere because all the tails immediately surrounded her in just one second, Selvia creates a chain of Voids around her but all of those tails soon destroy her.

Selvia flew upwards and her two katana blades were covered with darkness, she immediately made a combination attack towards the tails, making all the tails crumble and split into pieces. Although Selvia was able to strike back, her stomach was hit by the tail until it left a considerable cut.

"Ughhhh..." Selvia grimaced in pain, blood rushing from her mouth and the wounds found on her stomach.

"This book is the core of all Crimson magic, the [Grimoire of Crimson]. You will never be able to defeat the creator with that Void magic that you have completely controlled, every ancient magic has their own magic book and it seems like you do not have a [Grimoire of Void]." Shinku opened the pages of the book one by one.

Selvia did not expect that she was still not strong enough to be able to fight against that magic book nicknamed [Grimoire], the injuries he had were able to make himself weaken as the entire power and source of magic energy that was inside began to slowly come out from within his body. Selvia could not heal him even bandaging it with chains alone could not.

"Page One - Tails of Crimson Curiosity" By simply reading the page and saying the name of the magic it had already made the book emit a red glow, the book was wide open towards Selvia and pulled out the other tails.

"Monstruo Demonio: Assault Formation" 

Selvia destroyed that entire tail with two opposing swings, [Monstruo Demonio] was a weapon that only the demons of fate had, after all, the name of the Monstruo Demonio was the name of the weapon held by Selvia, the katana, while the name of the demon weapon of fate was [Moirai Arma]. Destiny's demons are assigned to stop all existing wars and [Moirai Arma] has an ability called {Formation].

[Formation] could be referred to as an ability possessed by [Moirai Arma] itself, for example like the [Assault Formation] which meant that attack formations and each formation had a different type of attack. Selvia can still fight Shinku by using both her katana but her magic can not because the magic possessed by Shinku is much stronger.

"If you can fight then another attack you won't be able to fight him..." Shinku opened his other page and he opened the second page.

"Page Two - Seal of Devastating Crimson" 

The land invaded by Selvia soon cracked until its entire body was bound to a red tentacle that absorbed all its own power and magic. The tentacle could not destroy even her entire body unable to move because the Crimson aura protecting her this time made her unable to move.

"A-Ack... W-What's this...!"  Selvia forced herself to move until she could no longer hold her katana, she dropped both katanas on the ground and Alvin fell on the ground.

"Hmphc... You will indeed not be able to defeat the Grimoire of Crimson, now I will take your magic along with those two mysterious weapons!" Shinku released the tails again through his book and made Selvia glare as she could do nothing.

Selvia did not expect that the Shinku would be this strong even though she had trained for many years in the region, the tail had given him another cut on his stomach but a large red portal appeared behind Selvia making himself surprised because the tails in front of him immediately disappeared.

Selvia glanced a little backwards and saw Alvin who managed to stop all the tails, the portal inside him immediately sucked in Selvia with Alvin and then the portal was tightly closed, making Shinku even more upset and trying to chase them but can't because the plan he made with Master could have been ruined.

"Sad... ********... He escaped with Alvin...!"
