Chapter 368 - Legend's Determination to Keep Trying

"You're really filled with determination huh...? Is that ice magic and darkness you have stopping me? Your determination is deep enough but determination and confidence can kill anyone..." Asriel darted towards Kuharu and used ice magic to create the various weapons he unleashed to try to injure Kuharu, he also took the time to launch several attacks but Kuharu dodged all of them by slowing down time, stopping time, and jumping time.

Asriel continues to launch several attacks towards Kuharu so that Kuharu is surprised when his body freezes, he tries to attack Asriel but the result he gets is a frozen body. Trying to escape using the time jump alone was useless as the region was filled with wind and darkness that could turn anything into ice, Kuharu looked back and saw Asriel almost stabbing her back, she managed to dodge the attack and hold it back even though both arms kept freezing.

Kuharu continued to escape while focusing a single point against his Crimson magic, his body kept frozen by Asriel's ice magic that was everywhere but Kuharu still had time to escape without hitting the wound, his skin alone was injured from being peeled off by that extremely cold ice. The leap and stoppage of time gave him time to unleash all of that ice magic that had frozen him, Kuharu has fully charged his power and he needs to sacrifice some of his time magic to use Crimson magic which has a different type.

Kuharu faced Asriel and raised both hands so that the immense pressure began to be felt by Asriel, she fell on the ground with a look of annoyance. Asriel tries to move but he is under the influence of slow-moving time. Kuharu smiled then he used his time magic to restore time and turn it back, almost the same as [Time Loop] but this one ability can injure Asriel by slamming her body with the land several times.

Kuharu unleashed a huge Crimson wave that hit Asriel's body, with the result that it was thrown far back. Asriel greeted Kuharu from behind by smashing his face with both of his fists covered in ice, after that he launched several attacks that hit Kuharu's body so that he could not see the movement of Asriel and his appearance that appeared suddenly. The ice attack wounded Asriel was quite fatal as the entire organs and blood within her body started to freeze, she immediately withdrew to the beginning where she performed the [Time Loop] to Asriel.

Asriel looked at Kuharu annoyed, he felt something different but did not remind him due to the factor of the time delay. Kuharu stared intently at Asriel with an extremely annoyed expression, she read the future and saw Asriel trying to perform the same ability. He seemed to be able to turn his body into an ice sculpture and his actual existence moved towards the existing ice and cold area, now he only needs to be careful in fighting back because the ability to read the future he cannot use continuously.

Asriel darted towards Kuharu and Kuharu tried to stop Asriel using time magic but he managed to evade that ability by turning into ice and creating extreme blizzards of snow and ice. Kuharu widened his eyes to read the future, he did not see any attacks as the blizzard kept on besieging him, he said, he tried to stop the time but the storm kept freezing his body so he forced his body to retreat back in time.

With a pool of blood coming out through both Kuharu's eyes and mouth, Asriel still remembers the incident where he faced Kuharu, suddenly Kuharu was bleeding and the blood was very large. Something must have happened and Asriel remembered that time ability also has the ability to recede time for a few minutes, it seems like Kuharu is limited in controlling something like repeating back time, something that is highly forbidden and dangerous can even cause something to fall unstable.

The ice and snow storm was still continuing, not only the storm I saw but his vision was filled with something that looked very dark. Kuharu widened his eyes when he saw the myriad Asriel popping up, he stopped time and then attacked all of them by throwing a scythe formed through the Crimson aura, he said, all the scythes hit Asriel's body which suddenly turned into crushed ice and released darkness to cover her body even to the point of making herself unable to move, "A-Apaghhhh...!?"

Kuharu released a huge pressure around him and he could see some ice shards around him freezing his body again so that the real Asriel greeted him from the front with a single blow aimed at Kuharu's face. A single blow hit his face even caused half of his head to turn into cracked ice, the cracked ice spewed out some blood and pus. Again, it would be quite a difficult force if Kuharu continued to let Asriel hurt herself like this.

Kuharu made a time leap to escape, he released the Crimson aura that formed him. His body was still unfamiliar with Haruka's so he could not use illusions, he only needed to learn and perfect the illusion's abilities then everything was already able to run smoothly. The only thing Kuharu was worried about was a high-speed attack or something that could turn back time like the magic Honoka possessed, the control of reality. 

Kuharu wiped away all the blood on his face, he sighed deeply and exhaled slowly, warning Asriel that the next attack could have ended fatally. A large ice crystal in appeared right behind Kuharu but he pointed it with his index finger to burn it using Crimson flames, Asriel could see it from within the storm and he began to sweat and then grew focused as Kuharu seemed to be learning from the mistakes he was about to make.

The storm began to grow and release some ice crystals coated with darkness, Kuharu smiled then swung both of his arms to burn all the ice but he still saw the darkness attack. The easy way is to stop time and jump at it to avoid all those attacks, "Ckk... Shit...!" Asriel sees Kuharu experiencing displacement without cue, he can see Kuharu performing the ability of that time again.

"Asriel.. I understand now, how to defeat you...!" Kuharu pointed at Asriel with a gaze filled with annoyance, he was sick of seeing the successors of each descendant have the strength and ability to stand this far against something related to time, "If you want to play with the storm then I will welcome you to another potential Crimson that Haruka cannot perfect...!" 

Kuharu's body released a red aura that created a huge gust of wind that even created a storm as massive as Asriel, Asriel was stunned when she saw the storm, he could feel the pressure and pain spreading around his body, the storm managed to defeat the ice storm that he used so Asriel tried to escape but some of the same burst of waves as the mountain erupted hit his back and left burns.

"Kc... You keep getting stronger then I'll try to find a way to get stronger again...!" Asriel unleashes some dark magic that can withstand all those Crimson storms and turns them slowly into ice, with the result that the ice melted and turned into water so that the water created a huge Crimson wave that appeared right in front of Asriel even to the point of pushing it backwards, "A-What...?!"

"It's useless.what you're trying to do is meaningless, Asriel..." Kuharu smiled seriously as he could turn the water already exposed to the flow of Crimson magic into a magic as well, he said, the wave of water moved quite fast and Asriel managed to turn it into ice and then he turned it into cold air that healed some of his wounds that were marked with red lines, "Witch and our abilities seem to be opposite each other, and so on, this fight is going to be long enough but I won't let you get the Legend's Boost."

Kuharu moved his index finger and Asriel could see that the Crimson Storm was starting to spread everywhere and create some flames that shot out through the land. It is almost like a mountain that has an eruption. Asriel tries to evade but Kuharu stops time so he is hit by the Crimson eruption that burns his entire body and throws himself up into the sky.

"It's fun huh.. regaining this Eternal body inside Haruka's body that's been exposed to the seal, I can do whatever I want without having to rely on time magic now. My attacks are getting fatal and I just need to wait for the illusion.Yes, this body will only get stronger when I receive an attack from them! Ancient magic ability Crimson..."
