Chapter 86 - Signs of War

The place where the Elves lived in peace, but all that peace changed when the Devil nation attacked and tried to conquer whatever they wanted based on the order that Rxeonal gave. The Elf Universe is usually known as a universe that is very rich in weapons because there are many powerful weapons in the universe one of which all weapons held by gods or goddesses are created of [Xuutouri].

Rxeonal gave orders to other demon armies to gather as many dangerous and powerful weapons as possible so that they would all be ready to fight against anyone. It seems that Rxeonal's goal is gradual so that when the war later he can win continuously, the beginning of the war between universes will begin soon.

Megumi was currently running away like a cat, the forests that were in that place were burned to the ground as the Devil nation that was flying while spouting hot flames through their respective mouths. A demonic ambush that occurs during the tournament makes Megumi bounced towards the universe where the Elves live.

He wakes up in the middle of a village where the Elves are creating weapons every day, all of them they sell and import them into a different universe. The average Elf universe was a very qualified universe to conquer but no one had ever succeeded because their defense and offense were just as powerful thanks to their own creation.

At this time Megumi continued to flee until her body was filled with sweat, the village that had been her residence had burned down because of the Devil nation. All of those demons would not continue their cause before killing the one who was still alive, Megumi herself.

Although Megumi has been running away for hours, the Devil nation continues to pursue her without giving herself a chance to escape. Megumi's speed was more consistent because there was something heavy in her body, especially her stomach which suddenly enlarged.

"Huh. huh.... huh..." Megumi rolled to the right and hid behind a large tree.

Megumi's breathing was heavy, she took these few seconds to rest to get her breathing back to normal. His sweat continued to flow until he could hear a lot of explosions around him because the Devil nation attacked the forest blindly.

"It looks like I'm lagging behind with Mirai... His speed was so much faster than I was, I don't know what made me like this until I couldn't escape fast enough."

Megumi felt her stomach, she could feel that there was something hard in her stomach that made her slow. Lately Megumi's appetite has always been lost and her stomach can grow bigger for no reason.

"Oi... Lately I have not eaten any food in the village, why can I become fat like this...? Am I really fat---"

Megumi's instincts felt an attack that could injure her head, she reflexively jumped up and landed on a tree branch while jumping up and down several trees that were in front of her. All the demons could see Megumi who was now trying to escape by jumping over the trees in the forest.

Megumi continued to jump all the trees until she ended up slipping and falling on the ground because her entire body was cramped and her stomach continued to pulsate like there was something in her stomach that pushed and kicked.

"sick... Ugghbhh... It hurts..." Megumi was already unable to move her legs back because of the pain she felt in her stomach.

All the demons landed and surrounded Megumi, they did not give any gap so that Megumi did not try to escape again. Without giving any mercy a Devil in front of him pointed his sharp sword at Megumi.

The demon who tried to kill Megumi had lost his head before he managed to injure Megumi, a few seconds later his partner realized that the demon who was trying to attack him had lost its head until it fell on the ground. 

"Oi...! What was that...!?" Asked one of the demons who started sweating.

"My instinct felt the air of killing yang--"

A sharp spear would hit their heads one by one until it decapitated them, leaving them to be killed without heads. Megumi did not see the incident because she was currently closing her eyes while enduring the pain in her stomach.

There were still a few demons who had survived and they had arrived late, they were immediately stunned to see their comrades being killed headless. 

"I-It's not possible--"

A spear was pierced on the ground, the staff shone and a girl raised the spear and launched the spear with a series of strikes, causing them to be killed with holes around their bodies. Megumi opened her eyes and saw a girl with white wings.

"A... Akina's... Please..."

"Hold that pain first, Megumi... Help will be here any minute." Akina said, he saw some demons that came with the weapons they stole from the Elves.

Akina twirled her spear twice and exuded endless attacks until all the demons had no time to hold back and dodge, all those demons instantly lost a lot of blood because the spear Akina used was a [Chastity] where this spear could absorb blood and purify it in every hit.

All the demons that arrived were not given any chance to attack or defend, even some of them gave up on asking for mercy. Akina felt unconcerned and she immediately made them suffer with just a few attacks.

Akina immediately holds Megumi and tries to find a safer place for Megumi to take refuge because the demon keeps coming and tries to kill Megumi, the two of them take refuge in a small cave where Akina creates a holy aura around her to burn the Devils who are trying to attack Megumi secretly.

Akina glanced back and immediately launched the spear towards their heads which caused the demon head to explode. All those demons were continuously slaughtered by Akina herself, her expression looking annoyed perhaps because she harbored a sense of vengeance about the ambush.

"Kc... They kept coming out of nowhere, it seemed like history was indeed true... The war of the universe arose because of the cause of the devil. All they care about is conquering whatever they think is good."

Another demon army appeared and began to surround Akina, she started sweating as the entire demon had a considerable killing intent. It seemed like the demon that came was much stronger than the previous demon, it could not be enough to exhaust all the demons that kept coming.

"Ugghhhhhhhh... Be ill... My body feels like it's about to explode..." Megumi could no longer endure the pain in her stomach.

"Hold it, Megumi... In a moment, I can feel the existence of those who are starting to get closer...!" Akina continued to emit several attacks that left several demons in front of her injured, now all those demons needed several attacks in order to get killed.

The pain that Megumi felt was getting worse, she immediately fainted because of her small body that could not bear the pain anymore. Akina had a glance back where she saw some blood being released by Megumi.

"M-Megumi...! Oh..!!! Megumi...! Wake up...!" Akina makes a fatal mistake in which she is caught off guard by her focus being split to Megumi, her left arm is injured quite deeply by being bitten by a Devil.

"Damn...! You fucking creature...!" Akina hit the head of the demon that bit her to pieces.

Akina threw her spear with all her might forward to give way so that they could escape from that demonic army, two roots moving towards the two of them. Akina grabbed Megumi's hand and she immediately pulled the root with all her might.

"Now...!!! Mirai...!!! Shouted Akina loudly.

The roots immediately pulled the two of them out of the cave, but Akina saw two Devils who were grasping Megumi's legs tightly. Akina spread her wings and emitted quite a glare of light towards the two demons, causing the two of them to instantly take off Megumi's legs.

"It seems to work..." Akina sighed with relief.

The roots that saved Akina with Megumi lead them to a hideout where Mirai is located, a few minutes later Akina was able to see a small village protected with protectors that could set the demons ablaze as they tried to enter.

Akina raised Megumi's body and immediately landed in front of Mirai. Mira let out a sigh of relief as the two roots she created managed to save Akina and Megumi in a timely manner.

"Oi...! We can't spend any more time...!" Said Akina who looked worried.

"What's up...!?"

"Megumi was seriously injured...!"

"Ahh...!?"
