Chapter 85 - One But Different

Selvia immediately pointed at her two katanas until the two weapons were immediately pulled by her in tight grip as she felt suspicious of the man currently hugged by Korrina. Although the appearance looks clearly like Alvin but there is something very different in him that makes Selvia feel suspicious that the man is disguised as Alvin.

"Who are you...?" Ask the man.

"Ehh...?" Korrina looked at the man with a confused face, "It's me... Korrina Comi, your wife."

The man could only smile a little and look at Selvia to convince himself that she was coming in peace, the demonic instinct of Selvia immediately warning her that the man would not do anything dangerous or threatening. Selvia kept her two katanas back inside a sheath located at her waist.

 "It turns out you're a legendary mortal known to many gods and goddesses... Hahaha, obviously because you're Iriana's granddaughter." 

"Iriana...? Who's that...?" Korrina asked confusedly.

"That's what you should know, Korrina." The man immediately retreated backwards to keep his distance from Korrina because she belonged to someone.

"What...?" Korrina was again sad that the man in front of her was not Alvin, she expected that he died and reincarnated into a new man like the man in front of her.

When the man took off his robe, Korrina widened her eyes because the man really looked exactly the same as Alvin. His body is muscular, his skin color is brown and that's what distinguishes him from Alvin who has white skin, the color of his hair and eyes was also equally blood red which signified that he looked exactly like Alvin.

Korrina could see that the mysterious man did not have both of his arms, almost the same as Alvin when he returned home he had no arms.

"Even he's just as handsome as Alvin...!" Korrina swore in her heart while closing her nostrils that were spitting out a bit of blood.

"It seems you are very familiar with that [Eternal] name... Yeah...?" Ask the man.

"externally... Is it a race based on heredity and curses...? If it's not wrong my mother once said that I have an Eternal race inside me that still does not want to go out at this time. Eternal race is basically almost the same as a different dual personality such as this good me then my Eternal side is evil...?" Korrina knew of the information because she had read a book about the Eternal race.

The destiny stone was located in an area where mortal or god of any height would not be able to see it, only the gods and goddesses of fate could see it but only temporarily while the place was currently guarded by everything. He can change any destiny in the stone by removing it and writing something new."

"I can know Alvin's destiny because I got to the place where the destiny stone is because everything allows me to see the destiny of someone different from me." The man smiled.

"Someone different from you...? What do you mean?" Ask Korrina.

"So yes, so..." Selvia began to understand.

Korrina and Selvia are shocked, it seems that someone who has a curse or Eternal descent then they have two lives, but unfortunately the second life is controlled by a different personality. Korrina did not expect that the Eternal Alvin race would be polite and gentle like this lest Alvin was naturally evil and cold at that time.

Selvia approached Korrina to try to calm her down, she stroked her back slowly and Korrina could only smile at Selvia as she would no longer feel sad. He had already accepted destiny since childhood because the destiny of the stone did exist so he had to live it.

"It seems I trust you as the race of Eternal Alvin..." Korrina smiled.

"Sorry, Korrina. I can't love you because I came here just to help you and accompany you."

Korrina told Selvia to prepare tea for the race Eternal Alvin, when Selvia went to the kitchen they both immediately sat on the sofa while talking about Alvin. It turned out that Korrina's prediction was correct that Alvin was born natural with a cold and evil attitude while his Eternal race had the opposite attitude, he was gentle and kind to the point of treating Korrina like a princess.

"I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Alvenius. I can use this body any way I want now due to the death of Alvin Ghifari, I was born in the Crimson realm but thanks to my different abilities and magic with Alvin, I can use teleportation to this place."

"That's great..."

"I have Alvin's knowledge and information, he also left some messages for you before the moment of his death, Korrina."

"W-What...?" Korrina immediately looked at Alvenius.

"Alvin said that I should protect you and keep you safe until the war is over, now a new history will arise because of the cause of the Devil nation which is currently conquering all the universe including the planet and its village as well. My shinku will do the same thing where he will create great destruction, so I must guard you until everything is done."

Tears flowed out from Korrina's eyes and Alvenius could only be silent then hugged her tightly while showing a guilty face, he closed both his eyes and let Korrina cry in his arms.

"Since then Rina had almost saved Alvin, but failed because Shinku immediately caught them both and they had no way out because Shinku's forces had already surrounded them."

"Right now that Rina is still in the region, I hope that she is fine. Hopefully, Shinku doesn't treat Rina the same way he treats Alvin by torturing her all out without giving himself mercy."

Korrina continued to cry and held tightly to Alvenius's clothes, it seemed like this was Korrina's last cry because she had promised herself not to cry anymore even if she lost someone important.

Selvia came while holding two teas and looking at Alvenius who was currently hugging Korrina, Korrina had already cried quite satisfied until this moment she had fallen asleep quite soundly. Selvia could only make a small smile and placed the two cups of tea on the table.

"You..." Alvenius called Selvia.

"Is there anything I can help you with...?" Ask Selvia.

"Is it true that you're Aldine's daughter. The Goddess who created Void ancient magic in this age...?"

Selvia widened her eyes when she heard Alvenius who had just mentioned her mother's name [Aldine].
