Chapter 11 - A journey with a horse

A few minutes later, the two horses that Shira and Agfi were riding started to move quite slowly as they arrived on a very wide land where they could not see any more trees except the carts that the horses were riding onthe other horse, Shira and the others could see some Legends running like wanting to do an adventure and also some Legends who were selling on the wagon, "Wahh... It really looks like the world of isekai in the anime..." Shira's inner speech, she started smiling and glanced back where she saw Megumi was staring at the Legends selling.

Shira looks at some Legend who starts to stare at Megumi who looks like she is excited, "Great...! Great...!" Megumi smiled as she closed her eyes, she felt so happy that she could enjoy the beautiful scenery while riding a horse. Shira began to feel a little annoyed at the sight of all the Legends staring at Megumi with an enchanted look towards her priesthood, "What do I expect...? Megumi is a Neko Legend... Shira and Agfi go through shortcuts where there are many beautiful scenery such as clear rivers and waterfalls are also present.

Megumi smiled very widely as she looked at the lake that had clear water. From the road built on the embankment, the people of Legend can see up to the cliff across the lake. The surface of the lake shone brilliantly in the summer sun, and behind it was a bunch of windmills, "Ehh...? The windmill...?" Shira started to show a confused looking expression.

"It feels great...!" Megumi said this while feeling the wind hitting her skin, "Riding a horse is great...!!!" Megumi began to close her eyes while showing an excited look.

Megumi begins to show a worried look because she feels that Shira is currently feeling quite exhausted riding a fast horse, "Shira... Are you okay...?" Ask Megumi while showing a worried-looking expression.

"I'm doing fine. It seems like I haven't rode a horse in a long time so my body is still not used to it and even the horse I'm riding right now has a powerful force at a high speed..." Shira replied as she showed her wide smile. It's been almost a few years that Shira hasn't rode a horse.

Riding a horse in the Yuusuatouri universe was different from riding a horse in his own world, usually the horse he always rode in the original world always made him fall and hurt but in this Yuusuatouri universe, he said, with one ordeal and Shira the taste of this horse that he rode was near and loved her. Shira began to think that flying would be very scary because it could leave the clouds and when he flew then he looked down then he would see the land from a very high direction and it could have made his body goosebumps until his hair rose.

"The view is very good, we can't compare it with the sky view later." Answer Shira.

"For a very long time, I had never seen this beautiful nature while riding a horse, it felt so different and pleasant. It feels quite refreshing to me, hahaha~"

"God...!" The horse that Shira was riding started to lose balance until it became unstable in the movement of her four legs, Megumi quickly grabbed Shira's back, "That was terrifying...! I thought I was going to fall..." Megumi said with a look of fear. Shira began to control the balance of the horse using her light magic and it was able to make the horse move stably again.

"I-Sorry...!" Shira begins to think that if Megumi falls, she will be hurt and will never forgive herself. Shira puts her hand on Megumi's hand, which is on her lower back, and pulls it to tighten her grip, "Ah... Uh..." Megumi started to show a look of fear even her face started to turn red.

"Don't try to let me go." Shira said while showing a serious-looking expression.

"Y-yes..." Megumi began to place her head on Shira's back and Shira could immediately feel it, "... ..." Shira can only shut up and enjoy the incident because Megumi seems to trust Shira that she will protect her. It was possible that she was frightened, she was now approaching Shira closer than ever, "I feel quite embarrassed as well because a girl did something like this to me."

"I'm sweating..." Said Megumi who started to smile a little.

"Sorry."

"No, it's not a bad thing." When Megumi said that, Megumi pressed her cheek against Shira's back. Shira can only be quiet and beats fast enough because a cute girl like Megumi can approach her, "I feel pretty awake if I do this..."

Said Agfi who started to enter the gate, some of the Legends guarding the gate instantly saluted Agfi and let Shira pass, "Ehh... It turns out there's a guard too..."

"... ..." Megumi smiled and then she blushed in embarrassment, Megumi grabbed her back firmly, "What's up...? Are you scared...?" Shira asked while showing a happy-looking expression, Megumi answered Shira's question by shaking her head. Megumi shook her neck in order to rub her head against Shira's back, ".doing something like this calms me down..." Megumi smile.

Shira nodded, the horse went down an unpaved and pebbled road, then entered the side road. Soon they will arrive in the city called Ghisaru or can be called the city where Agfi lives.
