Act 67: New Techniques

"Prepare Danny, now you're going to go through the second phase of your training."

Hearing Grandpa Leith's words made Danny even more excited. "Ready Cake!"

Just like the previous exercise, Danny had to go back to the closed room, the difference is now the room will issue a cold air that is getting colder.

Danny did not have any magic to ward off the cold around him, but he remembered that his body was able to emit natural heat.

Just like the previous exercise, Danny did this exercise twelve hours a day, he rested only at dinner only.

Eventually Danny and Patricia are tested simultaneously by Grandpa Leith, they practice outside the yard near a tree that has a large enough area.

Since Patricia's desire to become stronger was really great then it also had an effect on her magic as well.

"What a good Patricia!" danny said, Grandpa Leith just nodded his head in a sign that he was satisfied with the result.

The spear slowly began to reach him.

The hot air had failed to stop the spear, now it was advancing deeper into the water defenses.

That was why Grandpa Leith used a transparent round-shaped magic protector to protect himself and Patricia.

"Sir, is Danny going to be okay?" Grandpa Leith just fell silent, he still noticed the state of Danny who still can't seem to stop the magic.

Danny was starting to be vigilant, his second defense was gone, now there was only his last defense, he said,

Danny couldn't just stand idly by, the wind spear magic showed no signs of stopping.

Danny's wind magic aura started to enlarge, it pressed the spear away from his body, Danny's wind magic aura and the spear rubbed against each other endlessly.

As Danny begins to get overwhelmed, he thinks there is no other way but to stop him by turning the spear in another direction, he plans to aim the wind spear into the sky.

Danny began to use his hands, felt heavy but still had to be done, slowly the spearhead followed the wind movement made by Danny.

Little by little Danny moved the speed of the spear into space, as he was unable to stop it with his body.

Grandpa Leith continued to watch Danny as he saw what he would do next.
