Act 278: Not Beautiful Reality

Danny could no longer hide what he felt now, he had already experienced too much of the suffering caused by these demons; he didn't want anyone else to experience something like this.

"I must have the power to protect others, so that they do not become targets of evil crimes committed by evil beings, in any case I will do anything so that the devil does not go that far again."

Danny then clenched his fist hard enough.

"For the sake of my grandfather, my hometown, the people closest to me, I make sure the devil doesn't do much more harm!"

Danny ignites his passion, wanting him to stay focused on his current goal of stopping the demons that are now beginning to spread terror in this world, and by saying clearly, he hopes Vincent, Brock, and Patricia can better understand why he did this.

"I will do what I can best to achieve this goal, and for that I can't do it alone, I need someone to be with me in achieving my goal."

"Doing this mission that looks impossible certainly does not make me okay and feel calm, because it experiences various losses in a short time, it's like I'm the only one who's gonna face it all alone."

Danny looked at Patricia, saw she was going to tell him.

Patricia was stunned to see Danny reveal the reason, she knew that Danny had lost a lot in his life, a valuable person, he said, his feelings can no longer be lied to how much he loves those closest to him.

"But over time I myself came to my senses, because my existence is a situation of danger that sometimes arises and can make people hurt, he said, this adventure is full of risks besides I don't want to be alone at the same time I can't guarantee the safety of everyone who is with me on this journey." Danny reveals how his existence puts others in danger and in difficult situations and in those circumstances he is not sure if he can protect the person he is with or not.

Danny feels like he has revealed everything he feels, he is still not strong enough while the situation forces him to be in a condition that is sometimes unfavorable, and so Danny doesn't seem to be able to take anyone else with him.

Bringing Patricia who is a young girl of her age with her future still long is the dependant that she has always shouldered at this time, she should be able to guarantee her safety after all; and there's one thing that's getting clear here: Danny can't protect every single person that goes with him.

Saying this kind of reality, Danny believes this is the best way, he does not want Vincent and Brock to know nothing when deciding to be with him. With this he hopes Vincent and Brock no longer need to stick to their previous decision, which is to agree to his invitation about going with him.

Vincent and Brock who heard this, of course made them enlightened, after meeting with Danny their views have changed from being ignorant to knowing about the current state of the world because they know the story that Danny told at the time was not a fairy tale or a puff thumbs up, but rather the terrible reality of this world that is unknown to many.
