Towards the Unbeatable

Towards the Unbeatable
Act 515: For The Beloved

Arthur looked at the demi-human. This was the first time he had seen races other than humans and demons, aside from the book illustrations and other references he had read.

Hinting at what he knew from the academy was not the real thing. The other races had not completely vanished from the battle long ago.

The lack of evidence for the existence of other races that make simple conclusions is finally made, and at the same time it is not the actual reality.

Arthur can now see with his own eyes the evidence that has been hidden, the fact that other races still exist in this world.

What about the possibility that could happen? What is the identity of this glowing girl?

Is his confession to be believed that he is indeed a creature from another race?

Indeed demons could use an ability or technique where they could change the outer appearance.

But now Arthur believes the beautiful girl named Sophia is not included in the criteria that must be suspected.

If only he was a demon in disguise, then why would he help her at a time like this? It doesn't make sense, does it?

Arthur can also sense the energy of a unique force emanating from him, which he does not encounter in humans or demons.

And if he paid further attention it felt like the power energy emanating from him was similar to Danny.

Now in reality the human race was not alone in facing the demon race.

Arthur saw no other gaze but the tenderness and care of this demi-human race. The truth was once dark.

“Nona doesn't hate us?” Arthur wanted to hear this from another point of view.

Arthur has memorized the dark history of man. Especially if it was not a great battle in the past that made other races have to perish.

Doesn't that clearly show who's wrong?

The fact that there are other races that have survived past battles is shocking, and even more surprising, why are they not demanding revenge for what humans did to them?

It is the devil who fights the other races directly, but the brain behind all of this is human. A race that wants to master everything when it is not able to.

Isn't this a good reward for this greedy human? After all they did not think long by giving power to the devil.

With the fact that the demon race had not managed to completely annihilate the other races, didn't the remaining races have a chance to avenge the deeds of humans?

Although there is indeed no truly perfect choice for other races.

Other races can choose what they do. And according to Arthur himself, this is a good time to show their existence.

These other races had no good relations either with the demons who had already annihilated most of them in the past.

So with the two options at hand, either taking sides or fighting demons. There is no choice that really benefits them.

But with the reality already in place, the other races could have just acknowledged how demonic-powers really were and chosen to side with them alone. That would be a smarter choice for them.

There was no reason for this nearly extinct race to return against the demons a second time. Doesn't make much sense.

Now with the opportunity that exists why do other races not side with the devil and directly make humans realize they have chosen the wrong choice?

Isn't that better than fighting the demons with zero chances of winning?

Sophia was silent for a moment. “Why hate?”

He tried to keep it short and simple.

“I'm sure miss understands the point.” However, Arthur remains convinced that the girl glowing for human sake understands what she is saying.

Sophia was silent with a neutral expression. In the end, the blonde forced him to understand what he was saying.

In reality it is useless to pretend not to know anything, even though it is an old incident that has happened, before him this is a human who must have known what happened.

“Ras human knows much yes.” Sophia did not know whether the past events were kept in mind by the human race or hidden. But sooner or later something that is hidden will be revealed as well.

“This incident is inevitable, so there is no reason to blame each other.” Sophia said this with a serious look.

Arthur himself did not feel the aura of lies, which confirmed the girl for human sake was telling the truth.

Arthur thought he would get a more specific answer, considering it was certain Sophia knew very well how the past happened, not from the stories of people, but she herself who experienced it.

Inevitably, it meant that even the other races also knew of the fatal decision that mankind had made long ago.

But how else, the rice has become porridge. Can't be repeated.

”The world would not be better if led by the devil.” Sophia said her opinion. Hating humans and siding with the devil he doesn't think about all the time.

It is better to ignore the mistakes of humans in the past than to be under the leadership of the devil. That was what Sophia was temporarily thinking, even since she entrusted Danny with this mission.

It sounded resolute, and at the same time Sophia seemed to be unconcerned by the sheer number of their races that had fallen first.

“It was the Devil who messed up in the past, and now it happens again.”

It is undeniable that humans are the brains in the extinction of most races. Sophia could understand why this blond man said something about the past.

There was no harm in the remaining races being neutral and not interfering in the affairs of humans and demons.

They have nothing to do with this as well, just seeing a human eating the fruit of a previous deed is something they could have done.

But Sophia knew that following such momentary satisfaction did not make things better.

No guarantee of siding with the devil is the best decision, though it seems better than siding with the man who is mastermind over the perishing of his family and relatives.

Even believing in the devil can be a big mistake, like humans who believe in the devil.

It's impossible to repeat the same mistake, right?

“Man is not alone. Just relax.” Sophia smiling. After this heavy thought, a warm smile was needed so that anyone who saw it could be excited again.

Arthur fell silent. He finally understood.

“There's still something you need to do.” Sophia pointed at Arthur's right hand. Change the subject quickly.

“What?” Arthur immediately raised his right hand, and indeed he was holding something.

“I-this?” Arthur wondered why he was holding a white envelope that was indeed familiar.

Sophia looked at that thing from the beginning. This man named Arthur could not have deliberately kept holding the thing, which he must have seen was a serious matter.
