Towards the Unbeatable

Towards the Unbeatable
Act 257: Misconception

"Brocks! Where are we taking Danny!?"

It appears Brock is holding Danny and Vincent running between the woods.

"We've been hiding out long enough, Vincent! We're going back to the former prison where there's a lot of people there!"

"Why are we going there again Brock!?"

"That's the best place because there are so many people who can help us! Gathering together is better than just the two of us!"

"Oh that!? Well, I agree with you, Brock! But why did the clear weather turn instantly into a torrential rain like this!?"

Vincent, who was running, felt there was something strange about the unnatural weather changes like this, he felt a bit upset because with the weather like this made it difficult to run quickly.

"Huh!? How do I know Vincent!? Don't ask me who doesn't know nature! Just ask the experts?"

"What's!? Where do you think we are!? Where is there a weatherman in a place like this!?" Vincent interrupted him quickly.

"Then don't ask me about it! You know I definitely don't know, right!?"

"Brock!? Why are you upset like that!? What brings you blood!?"

"Silence Vincent! Soon we will reach our destination, to the former prison building!"

"He-hey Brock, did you hear anything that sounded?" Vincent feels like he heard something like a musical instrument being played when they are running towards the former prison building as well as the place where Danny and Yizi fight against Arthur.

"Hm, is it just my feelings?" Vincent thought maybe he was a little hallucinating hearing something because this heavy rain made him a bit sleepy.

Brock heard what Vincent said, for this time he did not argue with him. "You're right, Vincent, I heard some musical instruments coming from the former prison building."

"uh? Did ya? Then we should hurry to get there, I wonder if there are people who are playing musical instruments there? Why would he do that try!?" Vincent added a high note to his last sentence; he felt strange about someone playing an instrument in this weather, suspicious.

Brock and Vincent finally reached their starting place; they both saw a girl sitting on the ground playing a musical instrument that he blew.

Vincent doesn't know who this sad young girl looks like, he thinks it's possible that she's one of the former prisoners of the Dark Shadow gang, like himself, Brock, and Danny.

"Brock, do you recognize that young girl?"

Brock then noticed the crying girl, he had no idea of her; he had seen her for the first time as well.

"No, I don't know who he is, and also the reason why he's sitting there sad."

"HUH!? Acting!? You think this is a stage drama!?" Brock was again struck with emotion when he heard Vincent's absurd words.

"Well! I just express my opinion! You don't have to be so angry, do you!?"

The young girl then realized that she was not alone there, she looked across in front of her she saw two men - not three men; it's just that the other man was carried by a man of great stature.

"ah! He's aware of our presence Brock! He's not the enemy or anything, is he? Could it be that there is an enemy in disguise and becoming a beautiful girl like her!?"

Vincent's views changed about the appearance of the young girl in the midst of the rush of rain, at first from he thought she was a former prisoner like him, then he thought the girl was acting, and then he thought she was acting, and lastly he suspected that the girl was an enemy; what a very broad way of thinking.

Brock notices the girl, he is aware of her presence and Vincent, but the girl does not yet know who she is carrying at this time.

"Let's get close to him Vincent." Brock invited him, he walked up to the young girl.

"Wait Brock! Y-you are not suspicious of this foreign girl who is alone!? There could be enemies trying to trap us, he-hey!" Vincent thought of things that no one else thought, his current alertness increased sharply, but unfortunately his vigilance and suspicion had no effect whatsoever on his friend.

Brock himself ignores Vincent's overly suspicious attitude towards the girl who looks hopeless in her grief.

Vincent followed Brock's footsteps slowly behind him, with still strong vigilance from him. "Take it easy Brock! If anything happens to you, I'm behind you to give you help!"

The girl then stopped playing the music, because she knew it felt like nature understood how she felt right now; she felt that it was enough for her to share her sadness in nature today.

Shortly after Brock arrived near the young girl, a clear look of sadness was evident from the bright blue eyes of the young girl; anyone who saw her at this moment instantly could immediately tell that this girl was in deep sorrow.

Brock didn't think he'd be quiet to see the girl alone here, he wondered why he was alone and not with those former Dark Shadow prisoners.

"Why are you sitting here alone?" Brock was trying to communicate with the young girl; the reason why he was sitting alone in the rain was like this.

Because of her sadness, the young girl was not very sensitive to the surrounding conditions, even though she knew that there was someone else here, he cared more about his sad feelings and his longer-lasting sadness.

"Da-Danny .. Why did you leave me?" muttered the young girl in her current slump, slowly in her sitting she lowered her head hiding it between her legs at this moment.

He was still drowning in the sadness he was feeling right now; lost his way and not knowing what to do, did he have to stop here and stop living the life he wanted? He did not know what kind of decision to make at the time of events that he never thought happened at this time.

Rain was still pouring down on them at this time, even though the young girl stopped playing the flute, yet nature still showed her sadness just like the young girl was today.

Brock realized something, even though it was just a small pitched speech, his ears were sharp enough that he could hear the young girl's speech quite clearly even though the girl's voice had to be mixed with the current rush of rain.

"You said ... Danny?"
