Towards the Unbeatable

Towards the Unbeatable
Act 169: The Last Way

The big men there looked at each other, they still could not believe what they had heard.

"I mean Sir?"

They confirmed his master's words by asking him again, but Kibo's answer remained the same.

"There's no other way, you have to force my foot out, cut my right ankle ...."

"?!"

Suddenly all the big men there were shocked to hear what the master said, they did not expect the leader to go that far just so they would not be late.

The big men started to issue their opinions in a slightly high tone.

"N-no! Don't be so sir, there must be another way!"

"Y-yeah! Sure ... we'll find another way, sir there's no need to do such a terrible thing!"

"We completely disagree with that order!"

Kibo was not surprised to hear they rejected his request, indeed he had expected this from the beginning, they certainly did not agree to it.

But with time running out, what to do at a time like this? With various efforts that have been done but still not seen the results.

Is it time to blame yourself? What about the careless actions of Kibo to finally make all members so troubled? Can he be blamed for this?

Mind after thought was now mixed up in Kibo's mind, in the end because of his reckless actions it all became not according to plan or in his crude language—their plans had fallen apart!

He felt guilty for hindering the journey that required them to move quickly.

Kibo appreciates more about their initial goal, already so far, he did not have the heart if one last step to achieve their goal must be stopped because of him.

Kibo was still silent, he was at war in his own thinking, a feeling that there was no other way to enter the competition than to release it in the way mentioned earlier, but honestly, who is not afraid to decide what is bad for themselves?

No one wants to do anything bad to himself, Kibo is not afraid to say it, he just wants to take responsibility for the consequences that this is what he has to do because of his mistakes.

"Master! We can't accept this, there must be another way!"

"...."

"There is no other way" muttered Kibo.

"!"

"W-Do you think competition is more important than yourself?!"

Kibo turned to one of the big men who said that to him, a serious look on the big man.

" ... We're more concerned about Master than with that competition!" exclaim the big man, then cut with the members who were there.

"Yeah!"

"We will not leave Master!"

Kibo could only be silent, on the one hand he felt happy because they cared so much about him, on the other hand he also did not want to mess up the plan that they had arranged from the beginning.

"This is an order ...." Kibo's tone became deep at this moment, making the boisterous spirit given to him seem futile because he had not changed his mind as well.

The great men of Alliance Fight's members could only be silent at hearing the strong determination of the leader, and it appeared that they were still silent without daring to deny the master's order.

"I appreciate the attention you've given me, but it's my own fault. You do not need to feel responsible like that" said Kibo slowly.

"Because of my mistake this is what has hindered our journey, and you have done all you can to bring out this leg of mine ...."

"But in the end there was no way to get me out other than the last way I thought about it ...."

"Whatever happens we must carry out our original purpose of participating in the competition near the western kingdom, and I want to remind you that our journey is not yet finished here."

The members of Alliance Fight's were trying to accept what the leader revealed despite the weight.

But the leader's explanation is not over.

"Not what— need not worry, the pain that I will suffer later will soon disappear, if we don't do it right away then there we can't enter the competition and coupled with me and you guys will be stuck here without any certainty when it can come out ...."

Kibo can only make the last choice that looks very bad for him, but while it could be an option, he doesn't mind it.

The other members were still silent, they seemed to be unable to say anything to reply to the words of the leader.

Kibo soon reached into the bottom pocket of his right trousers, he thought he kept a small knife there.

But after a while, he did not find the little knife.

Ti-nothing ....

Possibly fall?

Kibo finally spoke to one of the big men.

"Hey, please do what I told you just now, I can't do it myself, my knife is gone" Kibo told the big man he was talking to.

The big man of Alliance Fight's members was a little surprised, he then approached his master, while reaching into the pocket of his right adventurer pants, then the small knife was in his grasp now.

Kibo then crouched down, followed by the big man.

"Do you know what to do?" ask Kibo.

The big man's eyes still seemed hesitant, although he knew that this action was something that would make the leader would be hurt, but in the end the order of a superior he could not refuse.

The big man nodded slowly, slowly cutting his master's brown trousers up to about a knee length, and he could see his Master's right leg began to have blue patches up to the top, it seemed to be depressed because of the narrow rock gap, while at the bottom near his right ankle there was blood coming out, it can be ascertained that because the various ways that have been tried before have not produced results but what happened is even worse.

Now the rest of the members were watching closely for the Master even though they knew that the Master was about to lose his right ankle.

The big man held onto Kibo's right leg with the small knife in his right hand, making Kibo grimace a little in pain.

The big man stared at Kibo still with a feeling of worry and heartlessness, but Kibo nodded his head in a sign that he could do it immediately.

The small blade slowly approached Kibo's slightly bloody right ankle.

And the knife got closer, and the closer it was to the skin from Kibo's feet, it mentally prepared to face what happened next.

Even some of the big men who turned their eyes away from the process of releasing the leader's legs, they did not have the heart to see things like this.

Kibo saw that the little knife was completely clear, he could even feel the sharpness of the knife before it actually touched the flesh.

"Noe ...."
