Act 285: Steady Decision

"When I was in the cell with Brock, my dream was to be free, exactly as it is now and indeed has now been realized."

"But I have my own reasons why the thing I wanted first is no longer what I want to do now."

Vincent said that indeed his freedom was his wish, but now he has opinions and thoughts that are different from his original mind.

"When I keep going freely knowing this bad reality, it won't make me feel safe and comfortable anymore, in other words I will remain frightened and not feel safe and calm even though I am free."

Vincent expressed his sincerity at the moment, he was really serious about his decision to follow Danny.

"Living a free life yet feeling the fear of a lifetime? I'd better face that fear and be satisfied no matter what happens." Vincent smiles when he says it, it makes him look like he is a real man at the moment (honestly Vincent looks cool when he says it.)

"For me to live by conquering fear is something that makes me feel like myself, I will feel free if I don't run away from that fear anymore!"

"Vi-Vincent k-you ...." Danny didn't expect Vincent to give such a determined and meaningful answer, Danny could see a non-playful look in the eye; Vincent was really serious about coming along with him!

Actually Danny thinks that maybe Brock who has a better adult nature than Vincent who will consider the offer of his invitation.

Hearing this certainly makes Danny feel happy because a person like Vincent, a friend of his would risk anything and even risk danger to follow him on his journey.

"You said you can't take responsibility for the people around you, right? It's not a problem for me, it's my strength under Brock, but at least I'll follow this girl's way ... Patricia' right? His words were logical and reasonable, indeed Danny had said that he could not guarantee the safety of the person who was with him, but Vincent's answer was better than a rejection that he had thought it was.

"HUH?! WAIT BROCK DON'T CUT MY WORD, I'M NOT DONE TALKING!" Vincent still seems to have things he hasn't been able to say before

"WHAT?! YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED TALKING?! YOU TALKED A LOT FROM EARLIER! WHAT ELSE ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, HUH?!" Brock again pressured the shoulder-haired man so that he could know what hidden purpose Vincent was going to take, would he take refuge for his own benefit by following Danny? Or maybe there is a more unworthy purpose than that?
