Act 433: Advice

Danny now knows the real truth, trying to accept the fact he had made the wrong choice before.

‘If only I didn't have to fight it...’ Danny had previously been so convinced this was entirely the devil's fault, but now he knew it wasn't.

He had heard from his own teacher, Freiss, which was the real reality.

Freiss saw Danny as hurt, his face grim and seemed to regret what had happened.

“Danny, you actually have no other choice but to face it.” Freiss did not stop talking about the reality he already knew.

Freiss knows the reality in this world is sometimes more cruel, but that does not mean Danny can continue to blame himself also for what has happened.

“If you avoid it too, he will continue to chase you and still will snatch the precious gemstone from you.” Freiss could feel such powerful demonic magic from Forhan, the possibility of his former disciple being able to escape the snare of the demon was really small.

“So you only have two options, face your own comrades or lose a precious gemstone. You've chosen your own choice.” Freiss conveyed what was on his mind.

He does not want to blame Danny for Forhan's death, but he wants Danny to be more in control of himself when using the power of his ancestors for the sake of humanity.

Danny's slightly red eyes stared weakly at Freiss.

It was exactly the same as what his teacher said.

Danny knows Forhan is a strong fighter and has a strong determination to do whatever he believes in.

‘Forhan does not give me a gap to run.’ Danny is aware of that.

If he used the power of a precious gemstone to run away from him, it might all end differently, but it did not guarantee that his friend would stop chasing him, as his own teacher had said.

Danny had already taken on a heavy choice that he could not possibly choose without the power of a precious gemstone.

‘I won't be able to survive if I rely on my own strength...’ Danny is well aware of this.

Fair or not the fight before is not important. Danny only saw what his goal was all along, even to the point of ignoring what was in front of him.

‘What does that mean I have been blinded by this power...?’.

Danny can not avoid his own mistakes, no matter how, there must be a better way he can do.

‘Teacher's right, because of my own weakness I can't deal with that difficult situation.’

Among his own comrades and the task he is carrying, Danny is not a heartless man who ignores his own friend, nor is he a man who allows what he has to fight for.

“You have chosen the correct option Danny, for now.” Freiss still sounded serious, but his tone did not sound as pressing as before.

His words differed a hundred and eighty degrees from what had been said before.

Though he was aware of Danny's mistake, but now why did he justify his actions?

This contradictory statement confused Danny.

“I killed my own friend... Nothing is true of it.” Danny felt like he wanted to scream and vent his feelings, but his mouth was heavy to say and his chest also felt tight to do that.

Danny did not understand why his teacher even justifies what was done, but from the beginning he heard how the bitter reality of his teacher was.

“There's no point blaming yourself for what you can't change Danny.”

Freiss did not intend to let Danny stay down after listening to the reality that happened, but he wanted Danny to have a strong mentality and a new perspective in seeing things.

“You've proven yourself to be the ultimate holder of the precious gemstone Danny.”

Danny was silent to the words of his teacher, he was not entertained by this, there were still many questions in him.

“You just need to believe in your strength..for the sake of controlling this great power.” Freiss continued his words.

‘Using my power....to control the power of precious gemstones?’ Danny was silent, he did not immediately understand what his teacher meant.

“I'm sure Forhan has calmed down in nature there.” Freiss again says the same thing twice, trying to convince Danny.

Freiss deliberately used the word ‘kill’ because he wanted Danny to realize that indeed he could have control over the power of this precious gemstone.

No matter how hard the effort is. Relying on outside forces alone is not enough to make the situation better.

Danny was silent, knowing the fact that he contributed to the death of his close friend, but at the same time he became aware of something.

The fact that he no longer depended entirely on outside forces of himself.

‘What does that mean I can control it?’

Danny finally realized what his teacher meant. All this time he had indeed only been completely controlled by the power of precious gemstones.

That was how it was until now, and finally Danny realized it turned out that he still had hope not to give up his full consciousness to the power of this demi-human ancestor.

‘But all this time I was able to survive because of this power...’ Danny realized many things had been through and with the power of a precious gemstone he could get through it all.

It was as if he had already believed in this power, and in reality it was like that.

‘I thought by giving up my consciousness then everything would be better.’ Danny knows now, not always he can trust this power completely.

Aside from the hope that has now resurfaced to the surface. Danny realized it was also not easy to maintain his consciousness when he used this power.

So like a double-edged sword, on the one hand Danny's strength increases, on the other he must bear the consequences of whatever happens due to his own strength, without his own knowledge.

‘So Master Freiss Now Danny began to understand why his teacher said this.
