Towards the Unbeatable

Towards the Unbeatable
Act 245: Being Yourself

Arthur looked at Thor with eyes that realized all his mistakes, he was still lethargic because he knew the truth.

"I'm actually happy to see you back Arthur, even when I died there was still something I could do ahaha ... but actually meeting you means you've changed and it'll brighten your thinking again, but if when I meet you again but you don't change at all there's another purpose behind our current meeting."

Arthur became curious about what his best friend was saying, what other purpose was he really trying to say?

"We can meet in your subconscious because of the influence of my demonic mask you remember?"

Arthur finally recalled that before he reached his subconscious, it was indeed the mask of the devil that he felt disturbed the last time.

"If this demon mask is yours is there anything else you'd like to try to convey Thor?"

Thor reassembles his serious facial features. "Of course, I gave this demon mask that I had given a very strong magic energy to one of the big men of the Alliance Fight's group that I managed to save, he said, the goal is that if there is a day when their situation is threatened, this mask can help them in a state of danger so I order that they always carry this demonic mask wherever they go."

"As a fugitive for escaping you're still doing that much to protect them Thor?"

"Yes, and the smallest and most unexpected estimate I can make is that you're still being unkind and careless to date, you're still attached to your own mind and having fun in it, and that's evident by my encounter with you."

"But I realized that it was only through this way that you could finally change this time."

"So-so what do you really want to reveal Thor?" Arthur had a little trouble grasping the main purpose of his friend's long words.

"This Demon Mask can stop you if you don't change and even if you still don't want to change, you might join me immediately."

Arthur is surprised by what his best friend says, an act that predicts something quite far from what will happen in the future.

"I predict that if nothing can stop you from doing your best, then it is this demonic mask that will stop you - even to the point of stopping you completely, until you can be called the one who has left this world."

"You're Thor? Estimate this to this extent? Why would you do something like this?"

Thor only smiled but the seriousness of his face was not faded at all. "What else can make you change other than my current actions?"

"I want you to stop all actions that you think are right, and please listen to the people who are talking to you."

"Or if you don't want to do it, then I won't hesitate to stop you here Arthur, for the good of the people, for the JUSTICE of the people I can stop you here."

Thor behaves this way because Arthur's attitude is quite hard to make him have to be even harder so that the words he conveyed to his friend did not return to him in vain.

Arthur was silent, still with a sad look on his face and feeling guilty, he felt unworthy to say anything more, he hated to believe what he believed was his false self-defense.

"I say and act like this not to threaten you, Arthur, I know you're smart, strong, smart, clever and there's so much more to your advantage, but as I said earlier, a false attitude of confidence has ruined all the good things you have in Arthur."

Arthur was still silent when he heard the words of his friend, he did not expect his friend would do so far just so he changed.

"Thor, I've got nothing to say, everything you say is true and what I've done wrong ... I don't know what to do right now" said Arthur languidly.

"Even to stop my actions I must disturb my friend's quiet rest, I am indeed truly evil ...."

Arthur shed his tears as he bowed deeply enough that Thor could not see his expression when crying, and as soon as possible he wiped his eyes so that no more tears would come out.

And indeed Thor had just seen Arthur who was full of perfection, as sad and even to the point of crying like this, he had never shown his sadness to anyone including the closest people though.

Thor who first saw Arthur like this was quite relieved, he can already judge and suspect that his words have been slashing and stabbing or even rummaging through the contents of his friend's heart is quite hard.

From this attitude also Thor can believe Arthur had realized soberly and stopped to just listen to himself, and also it feels he had heard enough good advice from Thor.

Thor did not want Arthur to feel bad about the reality he received, instead Thor wants his best friend to learn more to listen to others who try to speak well to him whoever it is, or even more than that, that is to be able to judge the content of one's heart.

Arthur then spoke back in the same lethargy. "Thor ... I have committed innumerable abominations, and you still ask me whether or not I should choose to change?"

From Arthur's desperate remarks, Thor can see the trust of an Arthur has collapsed completely until he even mistakenly thinks about what he heard.

"What are you talking about Arthur? My meeting with you is inevitable, my goal is not to end your career or even yourself here, I just want you to be the Arthur I know."

Arthur looked at Thor with a meaningful look, still in sorrow and a hint of the rest of his tears. "The Arthur you know?"

"Hmm, it's not just the ones I know, the ones your family, your friends and even the public have come to believe that you're their idol, you're kind and god, I don't need to go back to mentioning good things about you, I can say my mouth sorely, you already know the Arthur that people know, right? That is the real you."

"That-so?"

"Don't try to be another Arthur, even if you're trying to fight for anything, but if you're someone else it'll just make you not Arthur anymore, be the best Arthur people know."

Arthur finally found out the meaning of the flashback and the voices that appeared in his ears, there he could tell there were two different Arthur, opposite and because of the conflicting attitudes, he could tell, it keeps him from being himself anymore."

"You've got a lot of good things you can start Arthur back, it's true you can't go back in time to correct your mistakes, but if you're already aware of the real you right now you're definitely going to do what you're supposed to do."

Arthur rubbed his sad face, with a heavy heart because he was still imagined of his cruel attitude. "I understand Thor."

"Hm? I thought you'd understand sooner ... Arthur are you ready to be the real you?"
