Act 301: The Missing Opportunity to Tell a Story

While Vincent was still arguing with Brock suddenly heard Danny's sudden decision, he immediately spoke to him four points.

"Danny, didn't I hear wrong we were gonna spend the night in that empty house? Are you serious?" Vincent can't believe why Danny made this decision.

"Huh? You disagree with Vincent, too? Why so? Is it because this is an empty building and we'll just take it for granted and stay asleep outside?"

"Not so Danny, the problem" Vincent was about to explain why he disagreed with Danny but was so about to explain there were obstacles that came his way.

"Vincent! Stop your bullshit and stop making up stories that lie, you're not gonna try to make Danny believe your story, are you?" Brock is not playing around, he really does not want to hear the story that Vincent really wants to tell, and again he managed to prevent Vincent to tell the story to Danny.

"Hey Brock! Why do you want to stop me from telling stories? What's in it for you if I don't tell you?" Vincent did not lose his determination to tell him what he wanted to say.

"I don't want to be influenced by your story and be afraid" Brock replied short, very clear and not long-winded.

"Hey friends! Look at the door I can open! Weird right? This house should have been abandoned by its owner for a long time, but it looks like luck has come our way!" Danny was already at the door of the old house and managed to easily open the old door, the door is a little open now and if Danny can check the state of the house and if it is completely empty, then it is certain that he will spend the night in this place.

The dusty yellow door handle is just rotated and slightly pulled to make the door of this house small enough to open, no need for hard effort such as forcing open it or even breaking the door.

"Danny?!" Patricia doesn't believe Danny still wants to hitch a ride one night in the old house.

"What?" Danny thought Vincent's warning was just a scary story to tell, but he didn't know what Vincent was saying; if it was just a dream, of course it can't really be believed to be the thing that's going to happen right now.

"What?! Y-you don't joke at a time like this Vincent!" Danny's right hand began to tremble when he knew he had opened the door a little, indeed he was difficult to believe what Vincent said at this time.

"Quick close that door!" Vincent immediately hopes that the door that Danny has opened can be closed immediately, he does not want anything unwanted to happen at this time.

Danny who heard Vincent's orders immediately tried to run what his friend asked him to do, he saw the serious look of his friend and so there was no harm in believing him at this time, he saw the look of his friend, which is where Danny hasn't fully believed Vincent's words.

"W-what happened?! Danny what's going on in there?!" Vincent is so worried about Danny that looks just standing there and not seen doing anything.

Danny slowly looked back little by little looking at Vincent with a frightened look. "I-I can't close Vincent back."

"What-what?!" Vincent knew instantly that something unwanted would happen soon; he had seen this happen before, whether in his dreams or where, he saw a house that would suck anyone who tried to open it and happened to be the house that is currently exactly the same as the vision of Vincent in the past.

Vincent does not know clearly what will happen after the old house is not big that sucked everyone who tried to open the door, but for sure it is not a good thing to experience.

He did not know why this house could do such a strange thing, at first Vincent wanted to tell this to his colleague, he said, and indeed siphoning someone forcefully toward an old house was a mystical thing; when he tried to tell this, a good opportunity did not appear to him, he said, which in the end was all too late before Vincent told him about the strangeness of the house that was in front of him at this time.

"Vi-Vincent this ... You do you know anything about this house?" Brock saw Vincent dripping with sweat, Vincent looked very serious and there was no playful look on his face.

Danny was just making sure that the house was locked or not, if it could not be opened of course he would leave it and prefer to sleep outside alone, but when he saw this old abandoned house seemed to attract Danny so that he could enter and stop for a while to the stranger's house, he planned to stay one night and then return to continue his journey the next morning.

It was seen that the afternoon sky had started to change with darkness slowly gradually covering this area of the forest.

Vincent, who never saw Danny go away, had a feeling that this would be far more dangerous than just opening the door of the mysterious old house.

"Danny?! You heard me, right?!" Vincent was trying to get Danny to tell him what he was really doing there without doing anything meaningful.

Danny sweats he just realized something, it should be on this journey he can be aware of the circumstances and anything that is around him, including when finding an old house building in the middle of the forest, he said, why does he not suspect this? Why does he think this is ordinary?

Patricia who was standing there saw Danny look shaky with his right hand still holding the handle of the old house door that was dull yellow.

"Danny! What's going on in there?!" Patricia also worried why her friend was still standing and looked frightened there, whether it was not easier if she let go of the handle on the doorknob and no longer needed to try to close it, just leave and run!

While Brock who saw Danny who was acting strangely saw that something was wrong there, it was not Danny who did not want to let go of the doorknob and immediately ran away from the old house; there's a reason why Danny doesn't do anything so easy!
