- Meeting Room of the Meeting of Kings

The King of the East, Tarnatos, King of the West Gordon, and King of the South, Fernando, the three elderly Kings are holding an important meeting in an undisclosed place.

The three kings held a meeting after a while ago something quite strange happened.

The three of them held a closed meeting in a room large enough, there was a distance between them, each sat on a chair and provided a table that was also luxurious and large.

And the topic that these three important people were talking about was none other than the demon race that had started to act arbitrarily.

Actually the incident happened a long time ago, but only this time the three kings decided to meet each other to discuss this.

The appearance of these three kings is more or less the same, they are old and what distinguishes them is only royal clothes worn by each of them.

King Tarnaros wore royal clothes from the tip of the head which was his own crown to the shoes he wore were golden yellow.

King Gordon wore a larger crown than the other two kings and all the clothes and trinkets he wore were red, firm and bold.

King Fernando himself wore a more modest and less conspicuous royal outfit compared to the other two kings, not too many trinkets there and his clothes were green, calm and fresh flowing.

King Gordon began this meeting with a heavy and firm tone, making the atmosphere of the meeting tense at once.

"The demon race has started to move! He attacked the desert area in the Western Kingdom, and we lost one of the best holy knights in our region, this cannot be allowed!"

"Who knew they were going to make a move recently?" King Fernando played his little moustache, replied casually the firm tone he heard from the King of the Western Kingdom, he was not at all affected by King Gordon who looked very firm and even more like an angry person.

"Fernando! This is no small matter! The demon race that we've been giving away territory in the northern regions started to move and disrupt the other regions!" King Gordon was not happy to see the King of the Southern Kingdom looking relaxed and calm as if nothing serious had happened.

"Have we prepared for this before? Does our ancestors remind us?" Fernando avoided giving a direct answer to his friend, but he gave a statement that could not be denied by another king, that is, their ancestors did not pay attention or care about the existence of the demon race in this world.

"It is not time to blame the ancestors! They're all gone, we need to get ready for the worst!" King Gordon is arguably full of enthusiasm and has a clear determination, he who has seen how the desert region of the Western Kingdom is attacked and has now become a demon territory.

"The demon race has already started attacking? That's not a surprise ...." Again Fernando remained calm and unaffected by Gordon who spent his future energy in every tone of his decisive speech and the look of his face was too serious.

"K-you?!" Gordon stood up from his seat he could not stand the South King's overly relaxed and uncaring attitude, as if what he was talking about was just the past wind and there was absolutely no problem.

"Please gentlemen do not quarrel .. Here we want to discuss the problem, please remain calm ...." Tarnatos, the King of the Eastern Kingdom tried to cool the atmosphere of this hot meeting, he certainly did not want this meeting to create new problems for them.

"Hhhm ...." Gordon and Fernando snorted in annoyance, they finally knew emotions wouldn't make things change for the better.

"Mr Gordon, I understand the demon race did start planning things some time ago, I was once its victim."

"What?!" Gordon did not believe what he was hearing, and this certainly made him need more explanation from Tarnatos about what he had said.

The King of the Eastern Kingdom then explained to the other King about him being controlled by the devil to the point that there was a coup from his own army that resulted in a lot of damage and casualties.

"Sweet!" Hearing the story of Tarnatos makes Gordon more furious, his anger at the demon race even becomes so, now the veins around his face become tense and it seems he needs time to cool his head back.

"Hm, the demon race turned out to have its own way in order to rule this world, they spread terror by hiding and making trouble in other areas, their strategy may also be." Fernando even praised how clever the demon race in carrying out his plan.

"True Mr. Fernando, the demon race is very clever in taking advantage of the situation and also spreading terror, we do not know anymore what way they will use to mess up." Tarnatos acknowledged how the demon race relied not only on strength but also such great intelligence.

"By the way, my two best knights, the Deadly Two, Jack and Gill were also victims when I was assigned to take care of this demon problem ...." Fernando finally talks about how the demon race also not only interferes with the eastern and western kingdoms, but also the southern kingdoms.

"really? What's with your two best knights sir?" Tarnatos would like to know more about this.

Fernando ends up telling me briefly about how Jack and Gill had to lose and be held hostage by the devil, resulting in a loss of hope, but a miracle ensues, they are both rescued by a stranger from the demons and survive.

"They're saved?" Tarnatos was curious, who could save the two best knights who were even defeated by the demon they were after?

"Who?" Gordon asked briefly and clearly, his curiosity was not inferior to Tarnatos.

Fernando swung his hand. "Let's see, the two of them were just telling stories like that, they didn't tell the savior's identity ...."

"G ...." Tarnatos is quite disappointed with Fernando's answer, he thought knowing a mysterious person who has the power to defeat demons would certainly be a human hope to survive in the future.

"So what are we going to do? The devil won't wait for his plan to finish on his own, will he?" Fernado eventually jumped at the conclusion to be reached from the topic they discussed.

"We can't blame the ancients for allowing the devil to stay here, all choices do have consequences, and now we face consequences." Tarnatos expressed his opinion openly, where not always the desired thing happens.

"True, right now we have to find answers to deal with these consequences." Gordon added his opinion as well, his tone was normal again and no longer carried over by excessive emotions like the beginning.

"You're right Tarnatos, I used to have such a plan, but because of some things I didn't reveal this plan publicly." Gordon accepts Tarnatos' proposal, but Fernando smells something else here.

"Gordon, what's more important than uniting forces? Is your Kingdom too sure it can face everything alone?" Fernando spoke the reality even though it sounded spicy, but in the end he also demanded an answer to Gordon's statement earlier.

"What's? The reason I didn't mention was no less important!" Gordon insisted that his original plan to make all kingdoms united became drowned because of other matters of equal importance.

"It's Gordon, Fernando, we don't have much time, so what do you think of this proposal?"

The king of the west and the King of the south fell silent, as if they had something to say before actually answering Tarnatos' question.

"Can we trust each other?" Finally Fernando revealed the reason why he was silent for a moment, and immediately the atmosphere again became unfriendly because of this question.

"What do you mean Fernando?" Tarnatos did not understand why the King of the Southern Kingdom asked like that.

"Look at the reality of Tarnatos, even before the issue of this demon race spread did we manage to solve the problem between our kingdoms?" Fernando talks about how the kingdom still has unfinished problems before they can truly unite.

"Do we have time to solve other problems? Fernando as Gordon has said we have to move fast." Tarnatos was now trying to convince the King of the Southern Kingdom that the current time was truly unpredictable when the demon race would return to move.

"Tell that to Gordon, Tarnatos, he who has plans to unite is only to benefit his side." Fernando glanced at Gordon sharply, as if he had known the true intent of Gordon's request from the start.

"What's? Is that true Gordon?" Tarnatos seeks the truth here.

Gordon was silent for a moment, now he looks like he's hiding something.

"Seeing he was just silent, it meant that he was utilizing his plan for his own sake ...." Fernando declares the final execution without waiting for Gordon's real explanation.

"The death of one of the famous holy knights was a devastating blow to the Western Kingdom, and that was the scenario, but what would happen if the five holy knights were still intact? Surely the Western Kingdom had never thought of holding unity, they had five strong people in their area what else was lacking?"

"Gordon, is that true?" Tarnatos was in disbelief, but seeing the King of the Western Kingdom speechless he even suspected something else.

"Ugh, I can't deny that, the death of one of the holy knights of the western kingdom did indeed take the Western Kingdom a hit ...." Gordon slightly lowered his head, sweat dripping around his face.

"So this unity plan isn't what it should be?" Tarnatos did not believe why the King of the Western Kingdom was hiding the real reason.

"Fernando! Don't you think you're right on this! All along the relationship between the Western Kingdom and the Southern Kingdom was not as good as one would think! You even tried to steal something important to us!" Gordon pointed at Fernando angrily, stating that the Southern Kingdom often disturbed the Western Kingdom.

Fernando, the ruler of the southern region remained calm despite receiving such accusations, it is seen that he accepted what Gordon has revealed.

Raising his hand Fernando replied, "I'm not saying our relationship is good, but it's true that I did it that way."

"See Tarnatos! I have my own goals but Fernando is worse than me! He was even about to disturb the Western Kingdom using the two best knights he had!" Gordon used Fernando's statement as his defense.

Fernando was silent, and then stood up. "Here we go, there is no point in having a meeting like this, from the beginning we have never cooperated at all, and the problems remain."

"What?" Tarnatos did not believe this meeting would end like he had hoped before.

"Rather than us working together but not for the sake of the common good it's better that we work alone, I'm with my two best knights." Fernando slowly left the meeting area.

"And I'm with my four remaining holy knights." Gordon did the same, leaving the area where only Tarnatos was sitting.

"What's? Why would they not want to cooperate in such a difficult time?" Tarnatos bowed his head, indeed he did not believe in the two leaders who turned out to be still concerned with their respective interests compared with the survival of mankind in this world.

"Are we not united from the beginning?" Tarnatos was really hit by a decision that ended badly like this, now he no longer knows what to do in order to suppress the movement of demons that will not stop at all.

Since the meeting ended, the condition of the King of the Eastern Kingdom had declined because he thought too much about this, the way it was used which might have been the solution of the existing problem, the unification of human power is not going well.

The royal parties are still holding their own problems and do not want to be open to each other, their wishes are the same but it is the problem in that that causes this ambitious plan is not implemented.

The Western Kingdom still benefited from the presence of four extremely powerful holy knights, it became a plus for the defense of its territory, while the Southern Kingdom had the Two Deadly Knights, Jack and Gill who where his popularity is not too far inferior compared to the holy knight.

The Western and Southern Kingdoms each had their own ace cards that could be used in times of need, both of these kings had great confidence in the power possessed by their own kingdoms.

All that is not wrong, but Tarnatos considered the trust of the two kings was too excessive, because they already know the power of the devil is great but still close their eyes about it and still rely on his own strength.

Tarnatus appreciated the decision of these kings to rely on their respective powers, but he had an indisputable prediction, the demon race will be easier to carry out its ambitions than humans who unite all the forces they have.

Now it is only a matter of time, where the demon race shows its superiority and in the end everything will end badly unexpectedly by anyone.

Tarnatos does not want this to happen, so even though the unity of power has not reached an agreement, he will still strive to put all this first, for the better future of humanity.
